Can i take amoxicillin with hydrocodone

Common Questions and Answers about Can i take amoxicillin with hydrocodone

Avatar m tn The spasm cough causes it all and when it goes away (usually 4 to 5 days) things are relatively normal although a normal cough stays with me for weeks after. I notice if I catch it early (which means I carry antibiotics with me all the time) it is not as nearly as bad. Doctors have diagnosed this as Asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma etc etc. All different specialists seem to have a different prognosis and the recommended pills over the years have not really done any good.
405614 tn?1329147714 She did this test where she ran an electrical current into my tooth, with my finger on the probe; when I removed my finger, it cut off the current. She tried a normal tooth, and I cut off the current. She tried one of the two suspect ones, and I cut off the current. She tried the other, and I just kept waiting to feel something. Dead as a doornail.
Avatar f tn My school doesn't seem to believe me when I tell them that whatever infection I have is not gone. How can I know better than the doctor? They deny that there are any other otologists that I can see in this district of 1,000,000 people in a city of 4,000,000. I don't know what to do. I'm not keen on trusting the doctor who made me suffer for 3 additional days before treating my otitis externa. I don't know why he didn't ask me if there were any symptoms other than the ear pain, i.e.

Avatar n tn I'm sure I have a Bladder infection but they cant get rid of it due to trying to find out what is causing very severe pain in my lower abdomen, as if I were punched below the belly button and with painful burning. I've had this problem for over 2 yrs now. Its very depressing.

242516 tn?1368227505 When it's more clear to your doctor that you do in fact have a bacterial sinusitis, your symptoms will be more moderate to severe, and can be treated with antibiotics that are more narrow-spectrum such as amoxicillin as a first choice. Later generation antibiotics that have broader coverage across more kinds of bacteria should be reserved for complicated infections. These are general guidelines, meant to be taken in the whole context of your health history by your doctor.
Avatar m tn I have been taking prednisone for the last few days, I guess that’s to help with swelling and bleeding but I’m not real sure. I take 10 pills a day (50mg) and I find they make me very moody, tired and make me want to pee. Dec. `12th, since I’m going to be bed ridden for a few days you’d think that I would be out doing something, but nope, I’m on the computer watching videos and reading blogs on sinus surgery and septoplasty, geesh.
Avatar f tn Thanks for your comment, but I was sleeping well and wasn't depressed or stressed until after I started getting the headaches. I have had the xrays and they have come up with nothing and that is what is worrying me. I am not having rebound headaches!!!!!! So please stop saying this. This is something new and I am scared to death.

547836 tn?1302836432 There are other medications that are made with ibuphprophen and hydrocodone if tylenol is not tolerated. I did not decide to take this drug lightly and I would certainly not recommend it as a cureall. For me its not a concern of it being addictive just of pain relief. Others on this forum that have dependency issues probably would not want to take it.
Avatar f tn I'm on 10mg methimazole BID as well as propanolol (20mg BID) to help with an anxiety disorder. Last month I became ill and ended up seeing two nurse practitioners and went to the ER twice for what I'm guessing was a sinus infection. I had three different antibiotics over this time (took Biaxin for two days and it went crazy on my GI tract, so I was switched to amoxicillin) and started a vitamin supplement (Geritol) to help restore some of my energy.

Avatar n tn first, codein is a fairly mild pain releiver and the dr's frequently don't tell you how much you can take. with the pain i have had, i needed a theshold level of analgesic before i would get any pain relief (this was more than what the dr had on the bottle). so check with your dr and find out just how much you can take at once. second, a stronger pain relif is the hydrocodone class such as norcol. last, the strongest pill is oxycodone (percocets) which will releve your pain.
Avatar f tn I am currently 2 days completely opiate free. I can handle the physical withdrawals, but the mental aspect of the process is where I am struggling. I currently have a Manual labor job with my best friend from high school who is also big into opiates (he is by no means An addict). Between the demanding nature of my work and the fact that I'm with a friend who is a trigger I culpulsively think about the pills.
Avatar n tn I've had allergy testing, and everything came back negative. I can't take much more of this. I think that the septoplasty has ruined my nose.
Avatar m tn Anti-Depressants / Anti-Anxiety Medications (with little to no help...most of the time I didn't even realize I was taking anything. Never had to wean myself off of any of it, I could just stop it and not know the difference: 1. Paxil (25 mg, oncer per day, had a bad reaction) 2. PaxilCR (25mg, once per day) 3. Xaxax (1 mg, take one tablet daily) 4. Zoloft (Various pill sizes, the most I was ever on was 250 MG) 5. Risperdal (1 mg, take 1/2 to 1 tablet each day) 6.
Avatar m tn I have also taken Avelox, Ru-Tuss, Prednisone, Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, Lortab, Amoxicillin, Ambien and Lunesta. Currently I take Prilosec everyday (since 14 for acid reflux disease), 20 mg of Ambien to sleep or Chloral Hydrate to sleep. I was started on Hydrocortisone and worked up over 17 days to 20 mcg, while taking 5 mcg of Cytomel. Doctor placed me on Paxil and I had a bad reaction so they stopped everything. I have been told it sounds thyroid/endocrine related, but have had no help.
Avatar n tn After my sinus surgery, the doc gave me one of those thingies with an antibiotic solution. You can do it with saline or regular water (I wouldn't use tap) or with anitbiotics. Also, you might consider amping up your nutrition. That does wonders for the body's own defence systems. Something to think about. Good luck with that.
1187071 tn?1279373298 I will not be going to anyone else, i will take the methadone the best that I can and hope and pray it kicks in soon so I can eat and smile. My bests fear is right now with the hard meds is when I was taking the morphine my nerve dr put me on. He said that drs and hosptials LOVE this pill because it don't give you the high that most pain meds do and you don't get addicted to it cause it has another med in it that makes those side effects go away and it kills the pain.
Avatar f tn Looking forward to see how far I can go tomorrow before I need a dose. Dr says spread the hours apart with a slow taper. Its like my new addiction. How far can I go between doses lol. But this fear in my head is eating me up. Afraid of a knock at the door. I know tapering is still using. I know the chances and ease of just 1 more. I also know the seriousness of my situation and being totally clean is my only option. I can't ever fill a script again.
Avatar n tn I plan to do as much research as I can from home. I will let you all know if I come up with anything. Thanks for the input so far.
Avatar n tn So, long story short, I did not take the Singular. I know have an appointment with the head ENT doctor at the hospital in my area, next week. I'll put up another post after I see him. Thanks for all your advice and concerns.
Avatar f tn he really helps me to be able to accept my chronic pain and that it does really exist(it's not in my head and i am not drug searching no matter what people say or think) and then he helps me to kind of put it into a little box and put it on a shelf, to open if I want to but I don't have to ( in my mind of course not literally) so that i can go about my life without having to dwell so much on it and put others through the "poor me syndrome" and always talking about it because I can
Avatar n tn I've stopped the coffee and watch what I eat although I can't say that my life is any less stressfull right now. There are times when, even with the prilosec, I can hear and feel acid ( at least I think it's acid ) being squirted into my stomach, particularly between meals., ( When I detect this happening, I pop about 4 tums and that usually takes care of it. Biut to have to do this 10 times a day is probably not good for my health.
436516 tn?1382388265 I am done with Claritin and Alegra which does not help with my allergies. I take vitamins C, Calcium with D, iron, magnesium, and also take Fish oil and garlic pills. Tonight I decided to skip all the pills including vitamins and hopefully the coughing will be less frequent. I boiled slices of ginger for about half an hour, and poured it in a covered mug. Every time the coughing begins, I take a sip of this warm drink. It feels soothing and shortens the episode.
Avatar n tn After a cursory exam, he asked me if I took any chlorestral medicine, I told him I take Pravachol, but only when I can afford it...and I buy it in Mexico. I told him I take it every other day to "stretch it out". He asked when the sensations started...and coincidently enough, they started about the same time I started taking the Pravachol again. He told me that sometimes the sensations I described can be a side effect of the chlorestral medicine.
Avatar n tn The doc said he will give me a couple more weeks, and if there is still no improvement, we will get a consult with a neurologist and an MRI of my spine. I don't know if I will really take it that far, but we'll see. Is your buzzing still fading away? Did you ever notice that sometimes during the day, especially if there had been some buzzing, a faint soreness around the base of the head of the penis (glans)? i notice that sometimes, but also sometimes i think i might just be paranoid.
Avatar n tn The pressure sometimes crawl up my neck into my head..but i awoke most mornings w this. I can take a lot..and i did for Aug and finally in late August sawa neurologist.
