Avatar n tn What can you do if you don't have the money for a vet?
Avatar n tn Yes allergies can make you feel like that I too have had similar for 6 months now ...I think mine are environmental caused by toxins in our environment.Hope you continue to feel better ..
Avatar f tn Allergies have a genetic basis but not always to the same allergen. Two parents with allergies (50% chance of developing allergies), one parent 30%. It is possible that it is an allergy, however make sure the cat wasn't bathed with anything, I reacted with hives once to the shampoo I used on a puppy at work.
203342 tn?1328737207 The more common cat allergy is to various proteins contained in cat saliva. These proteins can be deposited on hair and skin when the cat grooms itself and then become airborne when hair or dander (dead skins cells are shed. More likely the symptoms are from dust, mold, and other debris that get kicked out into the house when you first few times the central heating system kicks in.

5347058 tn?1381188426 EVO, Wellness and Natures Variety are a few. cats can also suffer from environmental allergies....such as what you decide with your kitty.....before resorting to lab tests and any medications (including benadryl) I would stress you FIRST try finding whats causing the reaction rather than trying to treat the symptoms... environmental allergens can be anything within your household (chemicals) such as household cleaners..(.
1232362 tn?1333135406 I was hoping you would come along and answer - thanks FM. Don't you also give Akira a little Zyrtec?
Avatar f tn Have you had ur allergies checked. I always felt dizzy and sometimes came with palputations. It turned out it was my allergies effecting my sinusus. It was constricting oxygen to my brain causing the dizzyness. By all other purposes I was healthy!
Avatar f tn If you are able to tolerate the symptoms and if they stop at headaches only, you need not get worried. You can continue keeping the cat.
Avatar n tn The best way to find out if you have allergies is to take a couple of benadryls. If your breathing is considerably eased, then you have allergies. But you might also have COPD.
Avatar n tn Your latest family doc said you have a nasal infection, and you yourself said you have alawys struggled with allergies and sinus issues. I personally think you have a raging sinus infection, which gave you all those dizzy symptoms, and then it drained down into your tummy, and your digestion got all goofed up. And since you reported last night that your head symptoms returned, this suggests you're going to need some hefty treatment to get rid of the problem.
Avatar n tn As a good alternate treatment for the allergies, you can try using a yucca extract product, it can work wonders. Yucca has natural anti-inflammatory properties that can definitely help. Otherwise, just be careful in researching your products. Modern/homeopathic work very well together. The problem is sometimes the two schools will disagree for various reasons, which is why it's up to you to do your best to do the research, be informed, and make the best decisions for your pet.
Avatar f tn Allergies aren't hereditary but they can come and go. Some people outgrow allergies and others get them when they are older. My little brother had a lot of allergies when he was a kid (including pet dander) and outgrew them, while I didn't have them as a child but became more prone to them as an adult.
Avatar n tn I've had ear pain to the point of curling up like a child and crying. I was told by a very educated doc "you have facial neuralgia..took gabapentin until my ankles swelled up, then stopped. Why medicate s/thing that I don't have? Stressed out? Yep, ears will ache too. Now, ear pain has lessened as I'm sure the pollen count is down.Allergies will make you "so tired" you feel like you have the flu..I'm feeling v.v. tired ev. day and cannot do much either.
Avatar m tn Yes, anxiety can make you feel off balance and dizzy. Do see your Dr though to make sure nothing is going on with your ears or sinuses.

Avatar f tn He used to suffer when anywhere near cats but for some reason they picked up a stray cat and wouldn’t you know it, ever since then these symptoms started and have been getting worse. My theory is that the constant assault of the cat dander is causing an autoimmune issue which is making his glands swollen which in turn are pushing on the nerves in his should which go into his arms. Is this possible? Is there a way to determine this to be the case short of getting rid of the cat?
4609698 tn?1357141654 Many of us that have anxiety also get dizziness. It could be your allergies or a possible ear infection going on though. Can you get in to see your Dr? How long have you been taking Klonopin? It could be that you need a med increase or a new med. Talk to your Dr about all of these things.
Avatar f tn I have heart palpitations that take my breath away and make me dizzy. I itch but have no visible rash. Ive been having increasing brain fog as well. My blood pressure is always normal other than being low during episodes. I've seen a gastroenterologist, allergist/immunologist, and now I'm seeing an oncologist/hematologist.
Avatar m tn However I would recommend you see a doctor and take medication under a doctor’s supervision. Post nasal drip also causes bad taste in mouth and can make you feel sick. Foreign body in nose, deviated nasal septum, nasal polyps should all be looked for. Wearing a mask, especially designed for people with dust and pollen allergy will help filter a lot of allergens. This will help reduce your allergies a lot. I am providing you with a few links that may help you. Cleaning comes second.
