Avatar f tn If babies withdrawal in the womb, will they not withdrawal once born? I've been on hydro 7.5 for months for back problems and I know there's a risk for withdrawals. But I was just curious.
163305 tn?1333668571 This study suggests that in women not infected with HIV only those with hepatitis C virus RNA are at risk of infecting their babies. Transmission does seem to occur in utero, and the rate of transmission is higher in women who have had blood transfusions or used intravenous drugs than in women with no known risk factor for infection.
118225 tn?1278654940 My boy was totally lazy in utero and is now one of the most active ones I Know. My 11 yr girl was so energetic in utero but laid back after birth. This baby is totally an aerobic queen. Wonder what the outcome of her personality will be. She is strong omg. If she doesnt eat on time I can expect a a lot of forceful kicks and punches lol. 3 more months yayy.
Avatar f tn for example The mom had a positive drug test in febuary will that be in the babies system for a drug test when born? If the new baby test positive it will fortunatley help out My case, but it is unfortunate for the unborn child. Thanks to all who reply.
Avatar f tn I know right. they cry when they get startled from loud noises.
Avatar n tn With this, not only is the VSD evaluated, but also any other potential associated defects can be found. Sometimes in babies who have VSD’s this large, there can also be associated problems with the aortic arch, the main artery that takes blood out from the left side of the heart to the body, being too small or possibly obstructed. If this is the case, your baby will need to have surgical intervention to fix this sooner after birth.
Avatar n tn I took it at 40+3 gave birth 22 hours later my baby did NOT poop in utero either I asked plenty ppl about it most said dnt blah blah blah I didn't care to hear it if u feel ok with it then do it buttt do drink lots of water. I had a healthy 7.
Avatar f tn Babies don't their "color" pigment till after birth so in utero they will look the same the only way you might be able to tell is by facial features but that is still very doubtful.
Avatar f tn Oh and my last baby, the one who almost never got the hiccups in utero....he's now almost 18 months and he's had the hiccups ONCE that I can remember since he was born. I think some babies/kids are just more prone to them than others.
Avatar n tn They say babies remember and respond to music they hear in utero plus our voices they can recognise while in the womb so I would say they dream of what they hear :) but of course no one will probably ever know for sure
Avatar f tn Is it your first? Lol haha in all seriousness it can b a fun time but ya this is my third and I am just exhausted..I'm also 35 weeks tho..
Avatar f tn The baby is going to be up at all hours of the night regardless of routine in the womb. Also, babies in the womb tend to be "rocked/soothed" during the day from all the movement/walking around that we do. But, babies eat every 2-3 hrs regardless of the time of day or night. Best of luck!
8377023 tn?1399509160 Ok so something has happened to my right ribs not sure what. Woke up yesterday in pain but as the day went on it became excruciating pain. I cant breathe, move, sneeze or cough without being in massive pain. I know going to the er would just be a waste of money cause they cant do anything for me but I seriously cant get sleep because of this. Should I try sleeping in the recliner downstairs?
Avatar f tn re all tired and in pain, you need to have babies best interests in mind. Castor oil can cause some very serious side effects, and is not worth the risk just so you don't have to be uncomfortable.
Avatar f tn This is very normal for babies and most likely doesn't cause the any discomfort. Talk to your doctor about it but it's a natural occurrence with babies in utero. Nothing you can do to avoid it as it involves the amniotic fluid. It is not dangerous and almost every expectant mom will experience them with their baby.
Avatar n tn At my 20 week scan baby was measuring at the 3rd percentile has anyone else been thru this, they are sending me for another ultrasound in 4 weeks to check on growth, other than her size everything else on the ultrasound looked good.. advice please?
Avatar f tn I'm 20wks and 4 days and I sneeze so hard I nearly pee, quite often. I have bad allergies this time of year. Anybody else having this problem?
Avatar n tn Or are they uncomfortable and frustrated? I know they cant cry while in-utero. But they have to have feelings before they are born right? And at what point do they start to get them? Do they express them and how? I know there probably isn't any way of knowing. Has anyone come across any articles? Or heard anything? Not really a serious question just a thought of mine.
5913031 tn?1382391190 The March of Dimes has pushed to regulate this because too many Drs are taking babies too early. The long lager the baby stays in utero the better off the baby is. Don't rush it unless its medically necessary!
Avatar n tn Salk suggested that the fetus becomes imprinted on the sound of the maternal heartbeat in utero. This paper reports a left holding preference in a mother who has the heart positioned on the right rather than the normal left side of the body. Salk's heartbeat hypothesis is not supported by the holding preference of the dextrocardiac mother, nor by the detailed patterns of holding in the control group.
Avatar f tn Many babies who go overdue poop in utero anyway.
Avatar n tn Most likely baby is going to take after Mommy tho. Do not worry they can tell in utero if baby will be a dwarf. There are other markers they look for as well as short limbs.
1654446 tn?1301971330 I would say walking and sex is the best plan. I don't understand if you are over weight have you not been told to lose weight that will stop the pushing on the spine. I would say the doc knows best for baby. Hope all goes well.
Avatar f tn If a baby has a bowel movement while in utero its very very dangerous. They can inhale it called mecoinum aspiration. My son did that during my c -section and he was in the NICU for 48 hours being pumped with meds.
20829078 tn?1526360004 Hello mama!! Congrats on your little one! You posted a bit ago but hopefully you have learned that yes, it's totally normal and you don't have to worry about getting rid of them. Both my pregnancies had babies in utero with the hiccups. I could feel them! It's a natural thing. It's not something to 'fix'. It bugs us as we are older but babies are unphased about it.
2002741 tn?1353269155 I had a friend whose babies (all 3 of them) hardly moved in utero - and they also were very sedentary as children - and the doctor said their heartbeat was fine but to count kicks when she gets up in the morning and she could stop when she got to 12 individual movement sessions. (Not 12 kicks, 12 times the baby moved and then stopped moving and then moved again).
Avatar n tn Has anyone evercome across anything like this? My cardiologist siad this is very rare to see in utero. I have another scan next week to see how much it has grown. My first baby has down syndrome and a hole in her heart, I have been told that this is no way connected and is most likey a connective tissue disorder of some kind. we are having a test done on the baby for marfans syndrome but this will take a month for the results and could be inconclusive.
