bystolic best time to take

I have been taking 20 mg of Coreg CR (continuous release) and have gained a lot of weight in a short period of time. I am considering talking to my cardio and trying a switch to Bystolic. Both are the latest generation of beta blockers, and do more than the older beta blockers. Another thing that would help me is to know if Bystolic drains the energy from you like most beta blockers because of what they do.

Just curious if anyone who is taking bystolic experiences side effects all the time, or if it is a gradual onset after dosing, or what? My side effects always seem to hit me in the late afternoon, early evening. I take my dose anytime between 6am and 7am.

and it has none of these type side effects listed. I was going to ask my doctor to change to Bystolic. Has anyone here had any success in changing over to Bystolic from Metoprolol ?

Bystolic is usually taken once a day with or without food. You should take it at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember but if it is time for the next dose, do not take 2 doses. It may cause dizziness and fatigue, but there are no reports of weight gain with this medication. Do not take with alcohol. Bystolic also does not interact with Fosamax or multivitamins and iron.

And everybody reacts differently to medicine. I do great with bystolic and bcat can't take it. So don't let one person's experience influence your decision. You may have to try several different ones until you find what works best for you.

or may be the symptoms I have are common to all Beta Blockers? I take 2.5 mg 2 times a day... My face is flushed, actually feels like it might blow up. I feel weak, tired, and suffer with sleep disturbances, and extreme nausea, lost 18 pounds in a month. It doesn't help too much to keep my pulse down, but stops my 160- 180 bpm SVT in the night. I was started on 2.5 mg at bedtime, and a morning 2.5 dose was added...

I recently stopped the flecainide and have had no significant a-fib that I can discern, although some skipped beats. I do continue to take bystolic and azor for high blood pressure. However, since discontinuing the flecanide, I have had what I would describe as a pounding heartbeat (not rapid), dizziness, and consistent blood pressure readings of 140s/50s.

Just wondering what is the best time to take valtrex if on suppressive therapy 500mg X1 day?

I will start tx soon and would like some input as to the best time to take meds, injection once a week and oral meds every 8 hours. My five y/o grand daughter, and her mom (full time college student) live with me. I was thinking Thurs. or Fri. for injection (would like to attend church Sun) and 6am, 2pm, and 10pm for oral meds.

In order to keep best our kidney, what time should be take a pill of viread? Am or pm?

Just recently been diagnosed with hbp,and in two weeks I have had allergic reaction and its the same reaction swelling of the lip the last med I was on was AMLODIPINE BESYLATE whew heart palpitation, I would wake up at at 4 am couldn't get back to sleep finally 3rd day lip swell again and had to change it so now I am on BystoliC and I hope this work,also took lipronol for 3 day . any other suggestions?

My doctor gave me 5mg samples of Bystolic for Heart Palpitations. He wants me to take 1 a day before bedtime. He told me that it will slow my heart rate down. Normally I get 1-2 palps daily. Slightly concerned because it can lower your blood pressure to. My blood pressure is normally around 125/80. Doc says my heart is generally in good shape but I do have some "leakage". Mild case of mitral valve prolapse and slightly large aortic valve.

Hi;;I'm new to the community--not sure how it wors...I started Bystolic 3 days age and before that I was on Amlodipine. For the last year I have been havig all of the symptoms that have been described and now I'm having them with the Bystolic. Talk about slowwww, It's taken me a whole year to figure out that my problem is my medications. I'm gonna have to get in touch with my doctor and have it changed----I've been dealing with this for far too long now.

I have a diagnosis of Afib secondary to a prior case of pericarditis. Treating Afib with Bystolic. Last Tuesday developed bradycardia; heart rate in the 40 to 50's. Constant chest pain, spent night in hospital for cardiac work up which was negative. Now we are going to do EGD to rule out stomach issues causing low pulse but I am thinking my cervical spine problems (which have worsened) may be the cause. I also have upper thoracic pain. Could this be the cause?

My worry is my heart beat is too slow for Bystolic. One of their warnings is not to take it if you have a slow heart beat, is mine too slow? I have had spikes in blood pressure releated to stress a few years ago, but when the stress was gone so was the higher blood pressure. I always have had , on occation, a skipping heart beat. I dont know if that matters......Also would Bystolic hamper my workouts?

I have been taking Bystolic also 10 mgs 1 a day. I had to stop taking it because my dizzy spells got worse, I had been on it two months.
