My grandfather has a lot of red bumps on his lower leg (above the ankles to his knees); they have a diameter of approximately 1 centimeter. Their color is red to slightly violet and sometimes they itch... but they do not bleed unless scratched. They are not very swollen yet above the level of skin. The sores are more dense near the ankle and rarefy upper. He said they started to appear when he was about 13 years old and got shot, he was in coma for a short period of time...
At my 9 yo daughters yearly well visit the PA mentioned these bony bumps on my daughters legs. They are on both legs, on the outside just below the knee. They have been there as long as I can remember and I just assumed that they were normal and that was the way she was built. They cause her no pain and don't interfere with any activity but the PA made such a big deal about it and said she had never seen it like that before so, of course, now I am worrying.
I thought it was due to friction, but perhaps not, as this blister as well healed and developed a few bumps on the healed skin, which are since gone. My son does tend to get itchy rashes on his stomach and buttocks and legs which has been diagnosed as contact dermatitis. He also has had a few bad cases of poison ivy this summer. Any thoughts or ideas on what my next step should be?
I was worried that I passed HSV onto my kids when I delivered them. I have been diagnosed with HSV--1 by blood work, but I'm pretty sure its genital. I had a couple breakouts when i was 17, never went to the doctor and then never really had symptoms after that. When I got pregnant at 25 with my son i told my ob I suspected I had herpes but he said my symptoms didn't sound like herpes ( which were breaking out in pimple like spots all over my pelvis and buttocks.
Another day I was massaging my thighs and I noticed that it covered in bumps, right under the skin. These are semi-soft, jelly bean-like. Some long, some short. Mostly perpendicular to the leg (horizontally oriented). Both legs are affected and thighs and hamstrings are involved. And these muscles are completely covered in it, not just few lumps here or there. These bumps are not visible but I can easy feel them by running my fingers along thigh or hamstring muscle. My other muscles are smooth.
I have had itchy bumps on my skin for the past five months. They started with just one bump and have continued to spread. They are mostly confined to my back and chest, however I have some on my arms and legs. The bumps are not red and are not noticable when they start itching. The bumps will eventually go away. I have seen four doctors and none have helped my problem.

Also, the pictures of mulluscom bumps that I have seen on-line are more wart-like, somewhat whiteish and protrude from the skin; our bumps are more small and pimple-like, red/pink, and with an occasional tiny white head whether in adults or children. All are very, very itchy.
So I wonder if we have another viral type of skin rash or if we have essentially found all the possibilities?
Me and my kids keep getting all of these bumps, which start off as a bump, almost like a pimple. With the white head and all, then later on that day, maybe hours later, that bump seems to be like still the same bump with 2 little white heads now, then 3 then it's like a bunch of little white heads on 1 flat bump. I thought this was ringworm, but jeez i keep my stuff extremely clean, seems impossible.
If you have oily skin,you could develop little blackheads or pimples on and around the areola.The breast skin is the same as any other part of skin on your body/face and subject to acne,pimples etc. My best advice would be to leave these bumps alone,because you could cause an infection if you try to pop them.Keep the area clean and wash with an anti bacterial soap and see if these bumps go away in a week or two.If not, see a dermatologist's for some sort of treatment.

After I got the results and did a bit of internet searching I seen where HSV can be in the mouth. I noticed small red bumps on the roof of my mouth an a small bit of white pus on my tonsil. I went to the dentist who then sent me to my ENT. ENT advised of sinus infection, (sore throat) not HSV. Could I have transmitted HSV2 to her scalp? I'm worried that I do have HSV1 and may have transmitted HSV1 that I might have or the HSV2 that I was diagnosed with. PLEASE HELP.
Also, what are the risks of additional scarring? I am getting the procedure done on bumps on my nose.
Here is my story:
I plan to undergo electrocauterization on my nose soon. I have a few bumps on my nose, roughly 1 large one, 2 medium size ones, and 3 small size ones. At first, I believed this bumps were hypertrophic acne scars. I thought this because the bumps appear exactly on the same location where I had pimples.
I have noticed that the bumps will get red if I rub or touch them. The affected area of skin is not itchy, and there have been no problems when I urinate (e.g. no burning sensation or trouble passing urine).
I should mention that I had sex five days ago but the area that contains the bumps was covered by a condom.
I have included a picture of a couple of the bumps. Any insight into what the bumps are and what caused them would be greatly appreciated.
