Avatar f tn after waxing i got a reaction red bumps in my face.. what can i do to get red bumps go away?
Avatar f tn perhaps it is from waxing, but I have painless fluid filled bumps on my groin. A couple of them are actually increasing in size a bit, but it is completely painless and not itchy. they are red in color, and have clear fluid inside. It started with just one or two and now I have perhaps 6 or 7. It's all in areas I've have hair pulled out by waxing. I thought they may be ingrown hairs, since I've had quite a few in the past, but I'm not too sure about these.
Avatar n tn I got these bumps on my lips, down there. They showed up about 3 weeks ago when all my hair started growing back in from my previous waxing. I thought they were ingrown hairs so i waited for them to come to a head. Well they havent. I tryed popping them, they feel just like a pimple. some puss and blood came out but no hair. There deep just in the lip, just like a deep pimple on the face. there are 2 big ones and now all my hair is grown in.
Avatar f tn I am 21 and since I was 19 around November 2015, 8 started having this skin issue on my upper cheek bones like under my eyes but on top of my cheek bones I would say its ontop of the zygomatic/ Malar bone. It started on both sides of my face, it would look swollen like dark purple like I got hit in the face and it would cause a dark line of skin kind of like a slash.
Avatar f tn I also started having many other complications later. I found out I had a thyroid condition that caused those bumps on my upper thigh area. Once I started taking my thyroid meds they all went away. I would definately have your thyroid levels checked. And remember there are two differnent types of thyroid conditions. One is hyperthyroid and one is hypothyroid. You can be thin with hyper and be overweight with hypo. Most people think if you have a thyroid condition you will be big.
Avatar f tn I even left it on for an extra amount of time. Waxing is also no good. I have not tried professional waxing, but the at-home kits I have tried have been unsuccessful like the Nair and Veet. I have mostly been tweezing and shaving it, but this causes more problems. I have ingrown hairs and red bumps, and the black hairs can still be seen beneath my skin. I have no clue what I can do. I have thought about seeing a dermatologist, but I'm not sure what they could do for me.
990728 tn?1249341534 First of all i have spots on my face and i'm 18 years old so i guess they are acne and they leave scars on my face.......also on my arms and back......besides black holes which i don't know how to get rid of and when i empty those they form holes on my skin......so finally i have scars and holes which really makes me look bad and outdoor activity turns me black.the sun affects my skin badly and my hands are totally a different color compared to my body.
Avatar f tn s I have suffered from severe razor bumps and burn every single time I shave. I have tried waxing, shaving in the same direction as the hair, coconut oil, tea tree oil, witch hazel, electric shaving, shaving with organic creams for extra moisture, single blades, multiple blades, brand new razors after exfoliating each time and aloe-vera baby powder after shaving. Nothing has worked. Each time, I get huge swollen bumps along my inner thighs and bikini area.
Avatar f tn Although I am concerned mainly with the hair on my face. I have hair on my cheeks, sideburn, upper lip, chin. I tried waxing but it only made that portion of my face like 5X lighter than the rest of my face. Im terrified of trying new ways of hair removal because i feel as if it will come out looking stupid. Thisissue is making me very stressed and anxious; also its ruining my life. I have very low self esteem and have become very quiet. What do you sugguest I do?

Avatar m tn //www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/monkeypox/if-sick/transmission.html From the CDC: "Direct contact with mpox rash and scabs from a person with mpox, as well as contact with their saliva, upper respiratory secretions (snot, mucus), and areas around the anus, rectum, or vagina.
Avatar n tn sometimes the new hair can also get trapped under the skin and it will get real big and red and sometimes have some pus from the irriation. I have had it leave scars from where they have gotten stuck after waxing.

Avatar f tn I've recently waxed my eyebrows last week for the first time and after the swelling went down now I'm left with these bumps on my eyebrow line that won't go away. What to do, what will help it go away? Ice doesn't help.
Avatar m tn For a fair while now I've had what I believe to be hair follicles on my penis and testicles, not jus near the base but also going all the way onto my foreskin, most of the bumps have a hair growing from it, and before I wasn't to worried; but now I'm starting to worry if they will stop as they are very unsightly; like goose bumps in actual fact and dont irritate or cause discomfort. Is there any treatment that can stop these?
Avatar f tn I slept with someone about 2 weeks ago who has just informed me that he has MC. He didn't have the bumps when we slept together and we used protection. I recently switched from waxing to shaving because I was experiencing a lot of ingrown hairs from waxing which are still visible and healing (i'm positive these were ingrown hairs because I actually pulled the hairs out of them). After panicking and making a doctors appt.
Avatar f tn I've had this for three days now. My face started getting itchy (kinda like how it would feel from really dry skin). I have tried not to scratch it, so I've just rubbed it a little or wash my face. I found out that washing it releives the itchiness a little. After I wash my face, I've noticed that the redness gets worse but then just goes away in about an hour. My skin is rough and feels like I have little tiny bumps on it. What is this.
Avatar f tn You should get your spouse to do it for you or you can get someone to go with you to get a bikini or brazilian wax. I prefer waxing because the results.lasts longer( about a month) than shaving. Plus you'll have less issues with ingrown hairs and bumps and that hurts.
Avatar m tn Hi, This is a condition called keratosis pilaris.Keratosis pilaris (KP, also follicular keratosis) is a very common genetic follicular condition that is manifested by the appearance of rough bumps on the skin and hence colloquially referred to as "chicken skin" as well as "meat bumps". Keratosis pilaris occurs as excess keratin, a natural protein in the skin, accumulates within the hair follicles forming hard plugs (process known as hyperkeratinization).
Avatar f tn They could be from the waxing. It's hard to say. Can you get in to see your gynecologist to have the bumps checked out?
631834 tn?1222544293 Hello, No,it is not necessary that the damaged follicles are always infected by bacteria. But the chances are high. Waxing removes the hair from root level, causing a minute tear at the base of the follicle, which may result in temporary bleeding if the hair is very tough and strong. Once the follicle is empty, bacteria can easily enter the empty follicle, which can then become infected resulting in folliculitis .You seem to be having mild fooliculitis which usually goes on its own.
Avatar f tn It's normally temporary. Can you use concealer until it resolves to make it the normal color? The perils of modern beauty products!
