Budeprion XL is giving me extreme anxiety and racing heart. Have been on it for about a month.i am also on Escitraprolam. How can I taper off the budeprion XL. Was thinking of starting by 1 every other day for a while, then every third day and so on.

Are there any antidepressants that will make me more alert rather than sleepy and tired? This has been my experience with all the drugs I've tried so far. Budeprion being the last one and the worse cause it makes me so sleepy and lethargic, yeah too often I find myself sitting there as if lifeless, staring into space, feeling like a rock with no feelings or emotions...Are there any drugs that will give me more pep and energy instead of making me just wanna stay in bed all day?

I have stopped the clonazepam when I started getting kidney pain and decided to get on Budeprion XL thinking that this might all be mental. A friend of her's told her that you're not supposed to take it, if you take any medications for diabetes. There are some good antidepressants, one of which is Wellbutrin XL which has the least amount of side effects. As for the Yaz, , it would be in your best interest to get off this type of birth control pills. Let your doctor start you on antidepressants, get that stabilized and then deal with the birth control issue. Personally, I would avoid all kinds of birth control pills because many of them have side effects like stroke, heart attack and many other really dangerous side effects.

I have been on this combination for 6+ years and doing pretty well with them. In May 2008 I was started on Toprol XL 25 mg. It worked for my blood pressure and lowered it but it also made my depression worse and I finally went to my doctor to get off of them. I am now weaning off of the Toprol XL. I am on the second day of 12.5mg and I can't tell you how bad I have felt all day. Extreme anxiety and jittery. I CANNOT wait for this drug to be out of my system.

I was very recently prescribed Wellbutrin XL, after trying several medications that have not helped [including Wellbutrin SR]. When I saw my doctor, she simply said 'I'm putting you on Wellbutrin twice daily' and I assumed it would be the SR. But what I was given was XL, with the instructions to take it twice a day [morning and around noon]. My doctor's office is closed today, or I would have asked her. Being a rather skinny male, could it mean this probe might have underestimated the degree of my fibrosis. My doc prescribed Wellbutrin XL since the Lexapro made my depression even worse, excessive sleeping, etc. My question is - can I still take 1 mg of Klonopin to help with anxiety, prevent panic attacks? I've taken Wellbutrin before for a bad depression and know that it makes a person more energetic but also jittery at times. Any advice? Could I combine Lexapro 10 mg with the Wellbutrin XL 150 mg? I have taken 50 mgs of toprol XL for 12-13 years. It is a very safe and a good medication in my opinion. The XL means that it has an Extended Life .. in other words one pill is supposed work for at least 24 hours i think... but anyway... I dont know why the doc would say just use it when your rate is fast.. if you took one a day ....your heart rate should stay pretty regular Id think.. but Im not a doctor... I dont really know about taking it occassionally... doesnt make alot of sense to me..
