Are there any antidepressants that will make me more alert rather than sleepy and tired? This has been my experience with all the drugs I've tried so far. Budeprion being the last one and the worse cause it makes me so sleepy and lethargic, yeah too often I find myself sitting there as if lifeless, staring into space, feeling like a rock with no feelings or emotions...Are there any drugs that will give me more pep and energy instead of making me just wanna stay in bed all day?
I have been on sr 150 for two months now and just switched to xl 300 as the sr was not doing anything for me. Should I be expecting a change for the better or are they the same?
I have just begun taking Budeprion SR. 150 milligrams a day. The paper the pharmacy gave me said to contact a dr immediately if I got a sore throat. I have a sore throat, and I want to know if I need to stop taking the medication. On another website, throat irriatation is listed as a rare side effect. I called my dr, and the nurse looked it up and said that sore throat was listed as a side effect. So, I am confused. Should I stop taking the medication? Is this a dangerous side effect?
I have also been suffering from anxiety and depression and was on both Lexapro and Cymbalta for a little over 2 years. They helped at first, but after a little bit, there was no help from them. 6 months ago I started having high BP. Long storie short I was put on procardia xl. Started at 60mg then the Dr. rased it to 120 mg. Was working fine for about 2 months. Then I started having a racing heart high pules in the 100s. Went to the ER. And they droped my dose to 90mg. I noticed I have been getting a lot of heart burn. And gas in my chest after I take these pills. Mood swings High pulse. I have complained to the Drs. But they told me to keep taking it.
I am 54 and started smoking about 10 years ago. I would stop for a few months and then start again. I found I smoked from bordom and running out of my Klonpin and Xanax too soon. I really don't like the feeling of hot smoke going through my throat and into my lungs. Then I get this caugh the next morning. When I get a cold or have to stay in bed a few days, I don't smoke. One was a speical Cardio CT Angiogram and showed some narrowing of one artery, but not blocked. I have to watch my diet and stop smoking. Recently my face has gotten red more frequently. Any exposure to sunlight or being out in the heat makes it worse. Can this be related to any of the meds I am taking? Appreciate any help.
healty low fat diet(lots of fruits and veggies) no caffine and limit the alcohol if you use it... stop smoking if you smoke and last but not least have a daily exercise program... I changed my lifestyle 25 years ago and am fine now..When I was a working, I sat too much and ate unhealthy taking customers to lunch and eating out a lunch also...sorry I talk so much..
Am on Budeprion since April 1, 2013 because I had 2 deaths in my family and I was down so I went to the doctor and she put me on that am doing fine now but I today I just feel down and I was thinking about stopping the medication, I don't know if that causing me to feel down or what, and am not depressed I wasn't on the medication for depressed so is it ok to start to stop it or what?
but i had choose this antidepressant because it can help a person stop smoking so with that she added the seroquel to off set the anxiety that is susposed to be caused by the wellbutrion. thing is i have a script for ativan for anxiety and i also take ambien at night for sleep.
this seroquel knocks me out. i'm suspose to take it around 4pm so i don't have a hang over effects in the morning. about an hour after i take it i'm a zombie. i fight to stay awake.
How long were you taking Toprol XL and did you just stop taking it altogether? All beta blockers should be reduced gradually in dosage in order to safely stop. You should have reduced from 75 mg to 50 mg to 25 mg to 12.5 mg and then stop over a period of six or eight weeks. I have safely done this when my heart rate started dropping in to the low 30's and found that the rate gradually increased as the dosage decreased. My resting rate is now 68 or so and does not drop lower than 60.
t remember WB doing anything but stop smoking. (I am wondering now if you were referring to your personal experience and tried to use it to both stop smoking which worked and anxiety/depression which didn't work for you. Correct?) Perhaps I misunderstood your post because 41 minutes ago you are posting that SSRI are used for anxiety and depression, so you are actually agreeing with me.
I am a 43 yr old female, slightly overweight since i stopped smoking in 2003 and i keep having episodes of pvc's and racing heart. First time i had racing heart was in 2003 and my heart rate was 185. Was put on toprol xl 25mg and i take xanax when i have a spell. Well 3 nights ago i had another spell with racing heart that went on for 3 hrs so i went to hospital, heart rate was 180 and was given medicine that stops the heart and gets it back in rhythm twice, didn't work.
