The only thing that I can think of is I used to use bupropion by watson and now they gave me budeprion by teva. If anyone has had the same problem than please let me know. I felt so good and things were going so well. I have to get back on the wellbutrin that worked because I can't live this way again! Wellbutrin is only for depression, not anxiety. Can increase anxiety. For sexual side effects it is used in conjunction with an ssri, not instead of one for those suffering from anxiety, and even then you have to be very careful about increased anxiety.
I was on amitriptiline for 7 years and I am also taking 10-20 mg just for a week till the budeprion kicks in and then I will be off of amitriptiline. That was a real weight gainer medicine, I would have never gained 30 pounds if I had never been on that stuff. It was a good medicine if it was for the weight gain. I felt good on it and it helped me sleep.

It just kept getting worsr when I thought it was just me and that the bupr. would take some time to take effect. So she upped my dosage and 2 days later I caled her and went back in. That's when I stopped the burpro. immidiatly and she put me on celexa and klonopin for the anxiety.

I started taking only one 150 mg of bupropion sr this is my 5 day. Can I stop taking the amitriptiline with no withdrawls after only 5 days of Bupropion? or has it not been long enough. I hoping that I can stop the amitriptiline by taking the bupropion sr in place of the amitriptiline.

My husband has been taking Bupropion HSL SR 150mg for a few months and it doesn't seem to be working as well as the Bupropion XL 150mg he was taking for a few years before he was switched because, the pharmacy said, they could not get the Bupropion XL 150mg at that time. I am on 100 mg of bupropion and was feeling a little anxious. Before taking bupropion, when I felt a little anxious my roommate would give me one of his ativan's, but a full 0.5 would make me sleepy…so I cut it down to 0.25 which worked nicely. I have started to do that with the bupropion…is that ok?
