About 3-4 weeks ago I had a mischarge, I am due for my period but for the last 6 days i have had dark brown spotting discharge. I have had some cramping but tyleol helps with it. Should I consult with my doctor? Should I be concerned or is this normal?

You may want to get on birth control to regulate your periods. I started my period when I was very young and was irregular for years before I got on birth control. You could have an infection. A "smelly brown discharge" could be an indication of a rectocele. You should have it checked out.

Go see a doctor for swabs to confirm, because they usually need treated with antibiotics. Brown discharge can be normal after a period, as it's just your body getting rid of old blood from your period. Bit if it smells, and you're itching, then you more than likely have an infection of some kind.

Hello, You need to get a culture sensitivity of the vaginal discharge done to rule out any vaginal infection as mostly it is the cause of smelly discharge. It can be due to vaginal yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis as well.
