brown discharge sign of period

I’ve never noticed discharge before my period before. I have a faint brown line of discharge in my underwear and last Sunday wheb I wiped there was a good bit of brown on the toilet paper. I’m wondering is that normal before a period as that has never happened to me before?

Well this has never happened not before a period and I do not have the usual symptoms of a period strike. I know my period is around the corner but it usually warns me by some cramps, Now it seems that the blood slows down and then all of a sudden it shows up darker and a lot but I know it's not my period.

Hello, my last "normal" period was August 17th, 2012. I usually have a 29 day cycle. So I should've gotten my period on September 15th. On September 18th I had some brown discharge for a few hours and then again on the next day. It completely stopped after that. Now today I have the same thing, except before the brown discharge I had a dark red clot and it's completely stopped again! I've been feeling extremely tired lately as well.

Yes wait a few more days. Tell your mom though because this is a sign that you are starting your period.
