Its really early in ur pregnancy it could have been implantation bleeding. If its brown then its old blood, but see ur dr if its bright red and u have really bad pain like cramping.

I had bleeding, not spotting at 6 wks. After running some tests in the ER and having ultrasound done, they told me everything was ok. Bleeding or spotting may happen in the beginning of your pregnancy and don't always signal miscarriage. Go to your obgyn or ER if you want to be sure. Good luck!

if it is implantation bleeding the pinker the color could indicate active implantation, if the implantation bleeding is brown in color it could indicate implantation that happened a while ago, it just took a little longer for the blood to break through. of course all the stuff mentioned above is IF it is implantation bleeding. brownish discharge could also indicate that your period is coming. if you suspect it is implantation bleeding, wait a few days and take a hpt.

My AF was due Feb 25th and I did not get it. On the 27th I noticed some light brown almost tan discharge on the tp when I wiped. So I put a pad on just in case my AF was coming. On the 28th the light brown spotting was showing up on the pad but very little. Same on the 29th. Then on March 1st I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was pinkish brown discharge on the tp. Later that night it turned more red.

not sure I can wait that long though, even though its only a few days away. Does the brown stringy discharge sound like implantation bleeding? Would I already be having to urinate more often?

Hmmm tan discharge...not too sure what that could be as usually implantation bleeding is described as a light pink discharge or an extremely light period. Do you think it could've been dried up CM? I know that I started getting a lot more of this discharge around the time I found out I was pregnant. Implantation does occur 6-12 DPO so it may very well be associated with that. And today twice when i wiped i had a pinkish very light brown mucas discharge in a very small amount and thats it. Could it be implantation bleeding?

Could be. Implantation bleeding can be up to 9 days after conception. Plus it's always a better thing to see brown than red. I would test just to see. Depends on how high your hormones rise as to whether it will show yet. Goof luck! Hope all turns out well!

it could just be implantation bleeding, and if it was implantation bleeding, about a week after the discharge would be a good time to test, I'd try again! I hope you get the result you want!

Implantation bleeding happens 7-10 days after fertilization. The 6/3 spotting COULD have been implantation bleeding. Have you taken a pregnancy test?
