Here's my story , i had a broken tibia and fibula as well i was trying tio help a female from getting beaten by his boyfriend , it was slippery oitside my right leg went forward and my left leg went backwards and my big ***( lol ) landed on top of my ankle and distored my ankle and broke my tibia and fibula , i went to the hospital where i stayed two nights then on monday i had to go see the bone doctor at the other hosiptal and told me that your fracture was a bad one .

so my docter did surgery one year later, he took the nail out of my leg and replaced it with a plate and and screws, during surgery he broke my fibula to get the plate in place. i dont no why he did it but my tibia feels alot better and now my fibula is broken, my question is has anyone ever had a corrective surgery on there tibia and had there fibula broken. t need surgery and my bone was repositioned and i was put in a cast. I had my sixteenth birthday with a cast on my right leg and i have had to cancel my driving test as i can't drive with a cast on. I have undiagnosed nervous system disorder and I get this actually but more in the groin, and down my left leg, numbness and not being able to tell if someone touches my leg or not. It certainly could be the after affects of the accident it will take a long time for all the nerves to heal, and it oculd be the results of the brain hemoraghe or just that the accident has caused some spinal cord trauma.

Saw primary care, on pain meds, at this point pain now horrific in right buttock, posterior leg to ankle, not bearing weight on right leg, can't sit, difficult for BM....
