Help, My Son is now 16 months and just refuses to eat most finger foods, he even is starting to not eat stage 3 which is what we give him now to get some nutrients in him. He will chew and mash it but refuses to swallow and spits it out. Most of the time as soon as he sees a fork or spoon before taking the first bite he's already throwing his arms up and screaming. This is every meal now. He appears to be hungry because he will point at it when he wants it but to no luck.

Hi I am new to this. About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with depression/anxiety. I am still on anti-depressants. I have this wierd fear of throwing up. It is to the point, where I don't even want to eat. When someone is around me who is feeling sick I freak out. I hate living like this. I get so stressed out about it. I then get discomfort because I cannot pass a bowel movement because I am so tense and then right away I think that my stomach pain is going to cause me to through up.
You will find that random symptoms may pop up from time to time. Just know that the worst is over and you are on the downward spiral. Because the opiates impact our respiratory system, I found that I had all sorts of extra phlegm (along with that sneezing and runny nose) which caused me to throw up randomly. Actually, when I have a bit of a cold, I still do that.:) My gag reflex has never gone back to "normal".
I threw up in the middle of eating and it may sound weird but I just continued eating afterwards because I felt a little better but sometimes it would ruin my appetite ask day and I would make myself snack on crackers and other small things just to keep food in my stomach because throwing up acid is the worst!

you can talk to us on here heaarrtt. You are definately not alone! Your sister obviously doesn't understand, is she anorexic perhaps, or maybe she has other problems making her be mean to you? If she is anorexic (or bulimic, or both), it's actually a kind of mental illness and she won't be rational towards you. Don't let any unkind things she might say get to you Whenever anyone is being unkind, it's because they are unhappy themselves, it's never about you.
She always had a sensitive stomach and tended to throw up if she ate something other than her food or if she drank her water too fast but now she is throwing up yellow bile a couple times a week on an empty stomach.
About a month ago she coughed up blood so we took her to the vet. He did a chest xray and thought she may have cancer because of some shawdowy patches on her lungs and her heart was lifted above where it should be. He then did blood tests and a trachial wash??
