breast

492921 tn?1321293496 After bearing it for about 4 months (and also my Obe's resident telling me there was no such thing as yeast infection in the breast - I changed Obe after that). I ended up on a 4 week course of fluconozole to treat it.... which finally worked... My daughter never showed signs of yeast infection. But she was also treated when i was - but with a shorter course of nystatin meds.. There are also other oral and topical meds.
231441 tn?1333896366 After weeks and a visit last week with my Obe's resident who diagnosed yeast down there and gave canestin (which didn't work), finally saw my Obe and she agreed yesterday that I do have a yeast infection (breast - ductal, vaginal, and I suspect systemic). "maybe my resident hasn't seen this before". Hope she told her better! Obe told me to stop breastfeeding for a week (pump only). Told her no way will my baby get formula. She told me to pump a lot in advance.
127529 tn?1331844380 If not I think you should go to the walk in clinic. I waited too long with pain in my breast and ended up with a full blown mastitis infection both breasts and a high fever. I was on antibiotics so then I had to pump and dump instead of just try to nurse to unclog the duct.
Avatar f tn But now I have this burning feeling in my breast and read that it could be a yeast infection. It just started yesterday and today I decided to stop feeding him by my breast and just pump. I'm boiling all bottle and pump supplies for 20min. Do I need to see a doctor or can I get rid of it on my own since it just started? Or is it something else and I'm just freaking out?
Avatar m tn I recently had a really bad yeast infection & cured it w/ the Monistat 3-day, all of the pain & swelling is gone but I'm still a little itchy at certain times. I finished the Monistat kit about 3-4 days ago but now I'm having a kind of clear/white watery discharge that has a little bit of a fishy odor & sometimes the discharge soaks my panties pretty badly.
Avatar n tn Don't have sex while you are trying to clear up a yeast infection, honey, cause you can pass those stupid little yeast spores back and forth AND if you are using the cream (whichever one) then you're getting rid of most of the cream onto him. Well, I am thinking that is not what you were doing anyway, but just in case ;-). I was having chronic infections and I found out that I have a bit of a sensitivity to either spermicide or latex. Yeast infections can happen when the pH balance (acidity vs.
Avatar f tn tried that for a week as told and the pain still didnt go away. so i went in again they said it sounds like yeast infection of the ducts. i was given fluconazole 100mg take 2 once and 1 for 10days. the pain got even worse in the 1st couple of days. the pain still hasnt gone away. could this not be an yeast infection or do i need to take something even stronger than this. the sharp shooting pain is inside the breast more on the sides of the breast and sometimes under.
Avatar n tn If this is a persistent feeling that you have, you should have it checked out by your regular doctor. It could be something like a yeast infection on your breast, a hiatal hernia, or even a cyst. It needs to be looked at if it is still bothering you. Good luck.
Avatar f tn Have had a chronic yeast infection since I was a small child. I know it’s a yeast infection because I just had a yearly exam. Im seeing very minimal results from the medication. I’ve always had a yeast infection rash throughout my vulva and it just won’t go away it’s even spread to under my breast. I’m so tired of being in pain all the time don’t know what to do. The medicine never works and it seems like I get no relief. What do I do from here?
280369 tn?1316705641 Did you have antibiotics prior to giving birth? You could have a yeast infection IN you milk ducts...I did and the breast pain was excrutiating! BUT it went undiagnosed for almost 2m because I didn't show any signs on my nipples... Your chills etc sound mastitis-ish though... Maybe a day of rest will help BUT if your breasts keep hurting, see a dr... read this and see if it seems like your symptoms...
Avatar f tn I started to think my jokes had some kind of infection because of how bad tube pain was and one of my breast is already making colostrum. The other one had a white substance that had always been there off and on since I was a little girl. The itching and burning drives me insane. I guess that's normal since everybody else is experiencing pain but now I'm worried about being able to breast feed.
2020005 tn?1476662562 I also am worried Chloe will develop thrush in her mouth or a yeast infection vaginally, I know her diaper rash is yeast infection related because it won't go away with antibiotic ointment (nystatin). Does she have to be treated with antibiotics as well?
Avatar n tn There is also a chance that you will get a mild UTI with a yeast infection although you sometimes can't tell if the pain is from the yeast infection or a UTI. There is a product called Cystat which you can pick up anywhere that is an OTC remedy for UTI and you will pee clear not orange like most medicines. This product will help with back pain. Remember sugar feeds yeast. When you have an infection you will crave sugar and carbs. The yeast needs sugar to continue to thrive.
231441 tn?1333896366 The previous dosage regime didn't work - I guess there is a faint hope that it may work if repeated - but definitely this is resistant if there is still vaginal yeast infection after 4 'one-shot' doses now. At least if there is bacterial infection as well the pap will pick it up. I have followup for the pap with my Obe next week (I will call to make sure she is in before I go).
Avatar n tn I got tested for Genital herpes which came out negative, but I have been looking online and alot of people say that many people get a misdiagonosis of Herpes as a Yeast infection. That is when I was diagonosed with a yeast infection (Papsmear and they found alittle Yeast). I've been lost ever since the Middle of November because this is when it seems to have been happening!
1168718 tn?1464987135 According to their website, the most common side effects include headache, infection, abdominal pain, back pain, accidental injury, and vaginitis (yeast infection). So my guess is... there's your culprit...if this all started at the same time you started the Premarin and nothing else would fit. I would call your doctor and see if there is another med your could get on. I'm not sure if it would help you or not..but I'm on Vivelle-Dot. It's an estrogen patch and helps with everything.
Avatar f tn Also, the pain and discharge are due to a yeast infection, which I am on antibiotics for. I am a 29, almost 30 (eww) year old woman. No children. Not ever sexually active. On birth control over 10 years for abnormal periods. Could the pelvic pain, bleeding/discharge, no real appetite (for weeks), and breast problems all be related? Thanks for reading.
327405 tn?1223243355 You say the discharge is white, thick, and smells bad...classic symptoms of a yeast infection. Having an infection like that can also throw off your normal cycle. You're not pregnant though.
231441 tn?1333896366 So question - could all this be due to systemic yeast infection? What do I do? Fill in Dr says it can't be yeast because my nipples are only red, not cracked and with white curd discharge (though there is curd like particles to be seen in the breast milk that I exress) and refuses to treat! I don't know when my usual Obe is back. At least she knows my history and I think she might be more able to help. I would try to see her if things get worse.
Avatar n tn Also, breast cancer rarely causes pain. Given that your skin rash cleared up on the medication that was given to you, it sounds as though your rash was actually a "yeast infection." These are common due to heat and moisture. The pain you describe could well be due to cysts which do become worse as a result of caffiene. You might try decaffienated soda such as seven-up, sprite, sierra mist and even some of the colas come in decaffienated versions. Try this and see if it helps.
Avatar f tn and I agree with her that your problem is most probably skin related ( sounds like yeast infection or an allergic reaction) You shouldn't self medicate yourself, unless the medicine is prescribed by a medical professional. I would suggest to you to see your health care provider or a dermatologist for a correct diagnosis and proper treatment. The pain in your breast could be due to hormonal changes..Try to cut down your caffeine intake to lessen the pain....
Avatar n tn After two years of being constantly ill (fevers/weakness, arm and leg pain, numbness in arms and legs, dizziness, constant nausea, extreme exhaustion, stomach pain, diarrhea/constipation, extreme breast/nipple pain in one breast, overall muscle pain, eye floaters, eye focusing issues. Not a fun situation and, devastating, financially, after doctor/hospital bills, which are ongoing).
1070570 tn?1283439813 Something that is suppose to help with the yeast or rid us of the yeast is enzymes and another thing I read is to take Grapefruit Seed Extract the minute you get the yeast infection. As for the yeast free diet, I'm curious what that is. What I have read is sugar, cakes, chocolate, caffeine all can aggravate yeast problems. For me if I avoid these things I can keep it some what under control. The minute I take antibiotic I get the white thrush on my tongue.
Avatar f tn If those things aren't true, the endo may not be the cause of your pain. Regarding recurrent yeast infections, you are being treated in an advance way which is appropriate given your persistent sx's. Continue to work with your doctor to help you get better. Best regards, Dr.
Avatar n tn Sometimes women can get a fungal or yeast type infection underneath a generous bosom. It does smell. Kind of like feet. Gets worse in the summer, when it is hot. My mom has used baby wipes to "freshen up" underneath, and she has also applied deodorant to the under breast fold. Baby powder with cornstarch may also help.
Avatar f tn I was checked just last week and was clear for bladder infection. so I m thinking yeast infection,. Been on cipro. But yeast medicine not helping and it feels to swollen to use applicator for yeast treatment. Extremely painful. I can't even get the applicator in. I am through with breast cancer treatment. Finished in October 2006. Finished radiation January 2007. Been on tamoxefin. I am a two year survivor of Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Stage IIIA. someone please help me out here.
Avatar n tn Okay, I will get tested for pinworm. I think the leg/foot pain is from fungal infection via the nail hole in the sole. Yes, you did warn me about dunking myself in TTO. I am pretty desperate to get rid of whatever I am afflicted with. What do you think about the consumption of diatomaceous earth for either fungal or pinworm infection?
Avatar f tn I ended up with nerve damage in my tongue from my teeth being pulled and still have a burning/numbness in my tongue When the burning first started I had some discharge and assumed it was a yeast infection, I took Difuclan and it still didn't go away so I went to the doctor had a pap and he said to use canasten cream for 7 days. I did this and the burning went away. Two and half weeks later it came back.
Avatar n tn Also, with all the antibiotics you have been taking for two years, you may very well have developed an ugly yeast infection in the breast, that may be preventing a bacterial infection from healing. Yeast infections can be incredibly painful, and cause swelling like you describe, and much more else and other.
Avatar m tn About a year and a few months after infection most of my lymph nodes pains became less and I got yeast infection on my behind. Now it is more than 1.5 years since I was infected and I have a yeast infection on my behind that I have not been able to get rid of using the medical treatment offered. I still have pain in my head lymph nodes and some in my armpits if I close my arms tightly. I have also gotten an ear canal ache. When I was young I had ear inflammation.
