18524847 tn?1465595901 Lifting light weights is a good idea too and once you have the baby if you nurse, definitely do some chest flies and chest lifts with light weights to help with the breast tissue which is known to break down with breast feeding (saggy breasts are the result). luck to all!

Avatar f tn I know that exercise in pregnancy is recommended, as long as it's mild (like walking or gentle yoga). Does anyone have experience with more vigorous exercise? Nothing crazy (no p90X or anything), but something that does elevate the heart rate a little bit? I'm not very in shape right now, but I know that improving, or at least maintaining my current level of fitness will be beneficial for me and baby.
Avatar n tn Breast discomfort is rarely associated with breast cancer but can be due to many causes. I don't know of any breast concern that has anything to do with the size of your breast ... large or small. My best advice would be to see a Dr. for a clinical breast exam and perhaps some type of imagery (Ultrasound or Mammogram) to determine the cause of this discomfort.
Avatar f tn ( A Change in your hormones) Dietary changes that have been found to help sufferers – a low fat, high carbohydrate diet, reducing the amount of salt intake during the pre-menstrual time and reducing caffeine and alcohol intake. Trying to reduce stress, increase aerobic exercise and getting adequate sleep have been advocated and are undoubtedly good lifestyle measures.

Avatar n tn I had the same problem. I had back surgery, 2 times, and many Dr's told me that a triple was very bad for my back recovery. I waited and waited, not wanting to go under the knife again. Well this Thursday, after waiting 15 years, I finally did it. and I'm now going through the recovery. The 1st 3 days were a little hard, but the pain meds helped. now it's day 5, and there is barely any pain. I only take pain killers at night, and my back feels great. I'm so happy.
Avatar m tn Is it possible to get breast pain after a mycardial perfusion test? (Heart and breasts are okay for a middle aged person.) Had an itchy red area on chest after scan. It may be due to exercise, but after the prickly feelings wore off a day after the scan, I got these unusual breast pains that I have never experienced before. Very scary. I had a scan with radioactive iodine 3 months before. ( And the annual breast x-rays earlier in the year.) Maybe I have been getting to much exposure?
1904872 tn?1325822415 Priority is important. First find out from your doctor whether what you are feeling in your breast is a lump or cyst. Then follow through with any test that needs to be done to confirm what you have. Treat what needs to be treated and give thanks to God if you have nothing to worry about. Then go to the gym and work out as long as you want.
Avatar f tn I am 33 years old and a hypochondriac on top of that. I have had left breast pain for 3 years now off and on. I have no insurance and I am such a worrier. My left breast when I push on it in a certain place it hurts. It's not something I can't live with, but I just want to know if it's normal. I have very lumpy breast anyways I feel all kinds of bumps and lumps in both of my breasts.
Avatar f tn Hi Lisa, From what you describe about the pain and with not feeling a lump in your breast,I don't think that this is a sign of breast cancer. The only thing that I can think of, is that maybe you might have pulled a muscle.Prior to this pain have you done some sort of exercise involving your arms?.Have you pulled, pushed or lifted something heavy?.If you haven't done any of these things, then you should consult with your family doctor to find out what's causing this pain.
Avatar f tn I have had pain under my left breast for a few days. I have MVP and a PFOI have also had swelling in my left leg/foot. It seems to get worse as i am more tired. Should I contact a doctor? could it just be anxiety?
Avatar n tn Hi, You have had your breasts examined, and all seems OK. Your mammograms are also OK. Perhaps the breast discomfort is a "referred" pain. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Referred_pain). Perhaps the pleurisy or pneumonia injured some nerves; now that pain is being perceived as breast pain. However, please consult your doctor again about your constant tenderness. You should again begin gentle exercises and regular walks. And dont focus too much on the pain/discomfort.
5623087 tn?1377889284 I heard using an exercise ball helps lots with back pain and tailbone pain...
580727 tn?1398999945 I have been suffering from a bad pain in my right breast; it’s in the left and lower part of it. It’s been many years now. I guess I was in grade 8 or 9 and now it’s my 2nd year of bachelor studies. The pain wasn’t severe or I didn’t feel it much or may be I don’t remember how much it was, but it was there I remember. I never hit anything nether it’s hereditary.
Avatar f tn I had a green bruise about one inch in size show up on the lower breast. There is no pain with it. I don't remember hitting it. Should I be concerned?
Avatar f tn I am 16 years old. I usually have cyclical breast pain before my period, four to five days before it starts. This cycle, however, my breast pain has lasted for nine days and I have not gotten my period. I have had no other symptoms other than this, and I’m not sure why this is happening. I have never had sex, but I have given head and have been fingered within this cycle, but nothing has came close to my vagina. Are fluctuations in symptoms normal?
Avatar f tn I noticed mild breast pain yesterday but didn’t feel my breast heavy, I usually get tender breast before my period so It didn’t concern me that my left breast felt in pain. Until today when it was in more pain, I decided to go to urgent care, and dr told me I have an infection. She told me she was concerned because I’ve never been pregnant and I’m not breastfeeding. She says it concerns her that I developed an infection, she will send me to get a mammogram and an ultrasound.
Avatar f tn Over the counter medication can help with the pain or your doctor can prescribe a stronger pain killer. As the nerves regrow and heal, the breast is very sensitive to the touch and quite painful.Wearing a good supportive bra can also help. Also exercise can help if your surgeon has advised you to do so.I remember when I had my lumpectomy,I also had pain but with time it subsided considerably.Best wishes.

I dont know whether this could be caused by my exercise regime or should I be worried. Ive no shortness of breath, no dizzy spells, no pains down my arms. The pain can be quite severe but goes away after an hour or so after exercising. Id really appreciate any information you can give me.
