Avatar f tn if your baby keeps throwing up breast milk should I be concerned or take a in after he throws up he's hungry again
Avatar f tn I'm preggo w baby #3, I never leaked or got milk early in any of my pregnancies. And this pregnancy I was actually still nursing my 12 month old when I found out I was prego. I nursed her for three months into this pregnancy (until it became too painful). My milk since then has dried up and now I'm 31 wks prego & no milk. Every1 is different. Every pregnancy is different. Your fine don't worry about it. You'll still get your milk & be able to nurse.
Avatar m tn my doctor discontinued risperdal because it caused milk in my breast. that was june 8.......... well i still got milk in my breast.... now what?
Avatar f tn You take a couple of breast pads along and a wipey for your breast afterward (if you feel you need it -- breast milk is sterile and wonderfully resistant to bacteria, so you really don't) and you are all set to feed your baby. This compared to bottles, which you do have to sterilize, and fill, and keep warm or cool, and tote around, and wash, and remember to have, and hassle over. Breastfeeding can be such a breeze compared to that.
Avatar f tn So since I noticed that my milk came in already and I have alot of milk I hear the gulps of milk she takes in. So I only have her on the breast for 15 min. Is this okay? I dont want to over feed my baby but I know she gets enough because she poops after every feeding.
342647 tn?1291107933 Is if the baby being born that stimulates the milk or the baby sucking that does it, in which case the colostrum just keeps being produced until the baby starts sucking. Anyway hope all are well.
Avatar f tn Im actually here to discuss my problem which is a considerable decrease in my breast milk. My daughter is going to be three months on the 25th of april and i find it really hard sometimes when she keeps on latching for hours and sleeps and then wakes up too early for a feed again. Im hyderating myself really well and also have started having a half cup of milk in the morning two as i take a full one in the eve.. Dunno whats the reason behind this problem.. Can anyone suggest a remedy?
4654011 tn?1357643122 I wouldn't worry to much about it. I'd feel lucky lol my bubbies were a 36C when my pregnancy began now I'm in a 40D. My husband keeps asking me of I can ask the Dr how to keep them this big...
Avatar f tn So I went to my breast feeding class and my hubby was with me it was just me and hubby and he asked if it was save for him to drink or taste my breast milk I was like hmmmmm he never asked me that prior to that or even mention it ... Would that be weird for him to Taste it when the baby comes ?
7062489 tn?1388194102 I say this because as weird as it is, day milk keeps baby energized, night milk puts them to sleep, or relaxs them. So at times when you are tired and don't want to feed baby, your spouse can feed baby with bottles! It helps A LOT. Also you might want to get the baby bath so you can bathe him/her.
Avatar f tn I am pretty sure I am going to pump and bottle feed breast milk since I am going back to work after my son is born. I will probably breast feed the first 2 weeks though.
Avatar f tn Any good tricks or was to get my baby to drink breast milk it's hard he don't stay that much so I have to give him Formula and he's like sleeping knocked out and I can't wake him out to eat :-( any ideas any help please
Avatar f tn My son used to do that i guess cause my nipples were small when i first started but try to massage your breast to get the milk flowing or pump a little with your hands to get things going it should work
10380106 tn?1410962725 Please help! My baby had been latched on for over an hour (a little time for each breast) but still seems hungry. She nursed for over an hour going back & forth between breasts, &feel asleep on the breast as she usually does. But tonight, she won't go back to sleep. She keeps making the sucking nose add if she's still hungry. I gave her 25ml of milk I pumped earlier & she fell straight to sleep. But once I put her back in her bassinet, she's back up.
Avatar f tn No, don't try to express any milk yet! The more you express, the more you will leak. And the milk ducts will get over stimulated by the time the baby is born. It may lead to severe breast engorgement. I have been through it, so I wanted to make you aware. Even without expressing, I started leaking by 20 weeks, it got so bad that I would soak my tee at night. When the baby was born, I had SO much milk that my breast got infected and had to be operated.
906115 tn?1344200509 Hey :) I get that too. I'm only 19 weeks along, but I've had this for about two weeks. I don't think mine is milk yet, but it keeps getting whiter with each passing day. Started wearing the thicker bras!!
Avatar f tn This is my third baby and I really want to breast feed this time... I didn't do it with the other two for one reason or another. My mother in law keeps telling me that if I go through with my plan to breast feed that my nipples will get deformed or elongate and stay that way. Has anyone had that happen?
Avatar f tn t cross into breast milk and are completely safe to take while breast feeding. Just make sure the doctor knows you're breast feeding so they can give you the correct one.
Avatar f tn So...this is a little tmi...but my breast have been so itchy...and they have started to black patches on the sides :/.... Plus they haven't grew at all!! Everybody keeps asking me why they haven't and am I going to breastfeed...is this normal?? I thought when they itch that means they're growing lol....anybody else not have any growth??
873692 tn?1337275733 so i am 18 weeks 5 days pregnant boyfriend is really insisting upon me breastfeeding our child (i have 3 and have never had the want or need to breast feed) he keeps telling me that its better for both of us (baby and i) i know this i have read thru information and books and anything else out there i just dont feel i can do this i like the freedom of being able to go out with friends, have a drink i mean i have given up drinking since jan 08 when we started ttc and hes keepted on drinking almost
4182046 tn?1355820039 But I was a ftm. Youre milk will come in and my breast became engorged, do the warm compresses and express the milk by hand before feeding.. mine went away 3 days later. I hope this helps!
Avatar f tn I FORGOT TO MENTION WHEN SHE FALLS SLEEP SHE KEEPS ON SUCKING CAN THAT MEAN SHES STILL GETTING MILK ?? IDK IM A FTM HAVE NO EXPERIENCE ON THIS ...
2129193 tn?1342539411 If you only breastfeed once a day you have a higher chance of losing milk production all together.. Your bony makes as much milk as baby drinks breast feeding is how you keep milk production up.. So stay hydrated and breastfeed as much as you can..
229857 tn?1319029907 you can store it in the fridge for 2-3 days just make sure you date the milk also it can go in the freezer i think for upto 6 months and it is good to use the breast milk storage bags so you can date them also and then you can take them straight from the freezer and put the bag in the baby bottle warmer. when you buy the breast pump there should be a little book about breast feeding and everything that comes with it.
Avatar f tn I'm 7 weeks pregnant with my first child and my fiance keeps telling me that he really wants to try my breast milk when it comes. I know that it's healthy and nutritious and all that, but I can't get over the mental block that it's weird and not normal. I want to make him happy, but i feel like it'll be weird. Any second opinons?
Avatar f tn Ive had alot of bother with my breasts in this pregnancy but I had said to the doctor (before I found the lump) and he said that it was normal as the milk glands begin to practice. My partner keeps telling me to go get it checked out but Im so scared too. Im 22 and currently 31w5days pregnant and have two young girls. Could it just be a blocked milk gland?
Avatar f tn Don't touch your boobs or try "release" the pressure by expressing milk. This generates more milk as your body thinks "oh it's being used we need to make more to keep supplies up". Don't put them under warm water either!
