breast milk jewelry

I had my nipples pierced and took them out before I got pregnant with my first. I was able to breastfeed both of my daughters...with both of the girls I had milk come out of the piercing holes lol. Didn't hurt the breastfeeding at all that baby just got a little more milk lol.

Ok so I will clearly have to take to jewelry out because I plan on breast feeding but my question is will the extra holes cause complications with feeding?

Can you breast-feed with nipple piercings. I was told it's possible if i place tape over them?

I will say that on one occasion she squeezed her breast to see what would happen and instead of going straight out the milk went in several directions. Haha. It was funny to see but I'm not sure it actually affected her nursing. Check with your doctor.

I had both nipples done but took them out at about 9 weeks for them to completely grow over so i can breast feed when the time comes......but now im being told that it may cause problems nursing? Anyone have any problem with this situation or is it another myth?

I haven't but don't think it would cause a problem. I mean you wouldn't be able to keep your jewelry in while breastfeeding I don't think, but yhr fact that a person was pierced shouldn't effect anything.

When will you start to get milk in your breast? I am 31 weeks and have yet to get mine, it makes me nervous cause I plan on breast feeding.

Enough wet and poopy diapers and if the baby is thriving. Breastfeeding is a supply and demand thing so just let baby eat and you will produce enough. Make sure you drink water and stay hydrated.

s not good to use the underwire nursing bras as it can effect Ur milk coming in), breast leak pads, toiletries, Chapstick, hair ties, clips, glasses, contacts, 2 outfits for baby, car seat, nursing pillow/Boppy, 5 newborn diapers. The nurses usually give U diapers, formula, blankets, hats etc for baby to take home. Take home the nose aspirator, the ones from the hospital work best & they'll toss them out anyway. Get Ur bags packed it could be any day. My last 2 came at 37/38 wks.

No its not milk yet its the beginning stages of milk lol not sure what's the correct term for it honestly when I first saw it I was freaking out I didn't know I was pregnant and it was my first child but you will get a little of leaking of that stuff if u don't want in on ur bra you can buy breast pads congratulations
