Breast lift without implants

Common Questions and Answers about Breast lift without implants

breast

Avatar m tn Try having implants, they will fill you out without having a breast lift. You are very young to have a lift.
Avatar f tn Breast lifts are uniformly performed with breast reductions. With a lift as the sole procedure, often just excess skin is removed without significant reduction of breast volume. With a reduction, both breast tissue and fat is removed along reshaping the breasts and elevation of nipple position. The decision as to which procedure to select depends on whether there is a need for volume reduction.
Avatar f tn You should not have gone for breast implants. See, not everyone are good candidates for breast implants. The surgeon will conduct some physical examinations and then only he allows you to get breast implants. I think you were not a good candidate. It might be the problem while conducting the above mentioned physical examinations that made you a good candidate. A dear friend of mine has had breast augmentation few years back.
1174607 tn?1264173583 My surgeon is wanting me to do a lift and implants to fix a lumpectomy that I had in May of 2009. It wasn't cancer, it was a galactocile the size of a softball that solidified (after trauma to my milk ducts during a car accident in Feb 2008 5wks after baby). Anyway, I have an inverted nipple and you can see were the seatbelt went thru my breast and he said due to the trauma he wanted to do the lift first and let that heal, and then do the implants.
Avatar f tn Based on your description, some form of modified breast lift with coning of the breast to achieve central fullness seem a likely possibility
Avatar n tn I had a breast lift with a very small implant put in about 10 years ago, now that I am unexpectedly pregnant Im very concerned about being able to breastfeed successfully! Avatar f tn I got them done last year. So happy I did it. It made me feel better about myself. Im now pregnant with my 3rd. This is my 1st pregnancy since I got breast implants and I'm hoping they stay the same size lol I went from a small b to a DD. Im thinking they should stay the same size tho since I deff don't plan on breastfeeding.. too much work lol. I deff recommend getting them done. Just make sure u research all ur options before u commit to a surgeon. Make sure he is board certified.
1378404 tn?1278974651 i saw a plastic surgeon not too long ago who specializes in breast implants gone wrong LOL, and he told me he would take off any extra skin that should have been taken off before the implants were put in to begin with, and he would remove these saline implants, give a breast lift and put in new silicone implants of a cup size smaller. this would cost around 15k. i dont have 15k laying around.
Avatar f tn I had a breast lift with silicone implants and a mini tummy tuck 5 weeks ago. Approximately 2 weeks after surgery the incision area under both breasts opened quite quickly. Within a couple of days the wounds were significantly large and weeping. For the last 3 weeks I have been on oral antibiotics and treating the wounds twice a day with silver sulfadiazine. I don't see any sign of healing and my PS will determine today if I need to be seen by a specialist.
Avatar f tn I have saline breast implants that I got 14 years ago. I regretted doing it about 5 minutes after I woke up and have been very unhappy ever since. My breasts are normal in size but I do not like the feeling of having something foreign in my body and believe it to have caused some problems with my health. I would like to have them removed but the surgeon I went to told me it would not be pretty. Has anyone had implants removed? And if so, can you ever look normal again?
Avatar n tn I have implants under the muscle incision in the fold and I have heard that cutting in the nipple can sever nerves and damage the nipple. Not the case for everyone. I would talk to your ob or a plastic surgeon to see if there is a way to tell before baby is born.
Avatar f tn I’ve had several breast surgeries in the past such as implants then a lift then removal of implants with a lift. In 2014 both were biopsied due to capsular contracture. All clear. Now I have two oval small masses with Hypoechoic no vascularity present in either. My impression read suspicious for malignancy. I’m so scared! Praying they are benign. My mother went through the same thing several years ago and it was the same breast. Are these words very concerning?
Avatar m tn That would be a unique situation. I imagine those with generous breast implants may run into problems as well. If all else fails and the doctors are sure there's a problem, I suppose they could do a TEE (transesophageal echo). Not very comfortable, I'm sure.
937868 tn?1570328281 In my experience, if you have ruptured silicone implants and are experiencing symptoms, removing the implants without replacement is the appropriate action to take. Even though your breast size will be deflated, it is very likely that you will feel substantially better. Consult with a local plastic surgeon.
Avatar n tn but as a result of the rapid weight loss i now suffer with sagging skin around my mid section and my breast look like deflated balloons. i was wondering if any one knew a pro bono surgen who could help me with a breast lift.
Avatar n tn I've had breast cancer twice now and also had saline implants. It's not unusual to have little twitches or small pains, you do have scar tissue in there. I would like to say and have said it before to Drs. that dismiss the pain with breast cancer shame on you. At age 32 they tried to dismiss my lump first because of my age and second because it was painful .... breast cancer doesn't hurt....WRONG!!!!!!! If I had listened to the Drs, I would not be here today. It was cancer.
Avatar f tn The problem with surgery for capsule contracture associated with breast implants, is that it is impossible to predict the success of the procedure. In many cases, removal or partial removal of the scar tissue with or without implant repositioning, will result in soft symmetrical breasts. However, there is a real risk that capsule formation will recur. Removal of the implants will completely eliminate the problem since the scar tissue is reacting to the implants.
Avatar f tn I was wondering if I can have a mammo with breast implants? Also, my lump is under my arm but in the breast tissue, would an MRI show the area under my arm? One last question...I have been having shoulder and neck ache...could this have something to do with this darn lump? I have appt next week. Just seeking answers now, i know that no one can diagnose without seeing and examining me, just need info.
Avatar f tn The plastic surgeon that I saw said I have a double D and at age fifty five, I would not be satisfied with implants. My breast that I have left will need reduction and lift. I weigh one sixty five and I am five four. I am in good health otherwise and exercise and remain active. I do not smoke.
467126 tn?1283144858 I've had breast implants since 2002, and im preggo for the first time, and i feel them sagging a little more, and im worried that they will never return th eway they were perky and all , after i give birth!! i might have to have them redone. anyone in my situation?
Avatar f tn Hello it has nothing to do with implants! I am a man 29 years of Paris I patm for 4 years and I have no implant. I am sorry but this intervention is in my opinion useless. You spend your energy on the wrong answer ...
Avatar f tn Hi. I am 34 years old and have had saline filled breast implants for 12 years now. For the past few months I have had severe left side chest pain, back pain and left arm tingling. I now have high blood pressure and tachycardia and am on a beta-blocker for this. Recent labs show a high Rheumatoid factor and very high IgG. I am currently under the care of a cardiologist for the chest pain and will be doing further testing soon.
Avatar n tn The risks are very low and they feel more like real breast. I to will be getting implants after the expanders have done thier work. But I am getting gummy implants. They are fairly new to the US but have been used in Canada and abroad for years. They feel fabulous and the contents are like gummy bear material. But again if I had to choose between silicone or saline I would choose silicone every time. My PS says they are safe.
Avatar n tn I am in the "asking questions" stage before seeing a plastic surgeon as I am considering breast implants to enlarge a "barely A" to a "C" cup. I am wondering if cost of implants has anything to do with outcome. One nurse told me about tissue expanders before the actual implant will give a better look, any truth to this? Also, since the shell of the implant is silicone any reason to not choose silicone fill?
Avatar n tn How bad will radiation be on my implant-would I get new implants after all is done? will the breast getting radiation look lik ethe other one? if I get cancer in the other one can you do a masectomy on the both even thouogh one has been radiated?
7928796 tn?1396351929 Its really different for everyone... I know one woman who breast fed three babies a year a piece with implants and I know another that breast fed her first, got implants and couldn't breast feed her second or third...
