Breast lift no implants

Common Questions and Answers about Breast lift no implants

breast

Avatar m tn m 40, childless (which means ptosis was not due to breast feeding) and had a breast lift 4 weeks ago. Implants were out of the question for me. If you want perkiness a lift, whether the incisions will be concentric, lollipop or inverted T is for you to discuss AT LENGTH with a plastic surgeon. I received an inverted T, which I am not at all happy with because the P.S. that did my breasts did not specify that during my consultation.
Avatar f tn Breast lifts are uniformly performed with breast reductions. With a lift as the sole procedure, often just excess skin is removed without significant reduction of breast volume. With a reduction, both breast tissue and fat is removed along reshaping the breasts and elevation of nipple position. The decision as to which procedure to select depends on whether there is a need for volume reduction.
Avatar f tn You should not have gone for breast implants. See, not everyone are good candidates for breast implants. The surgeon will conduct some physical examinations and then only he allows you to get breast implants. I think you were not a good candidate. It might be the problem while conducting the above mentioned physical examinations that made you a good candidate. A dear friend of mine has had breast augmentation few years back.
Avatar n tn I had a breast lift with a very small implant put in about 10 years ago, now that I am unexpectedly pregnant Im very concerned about being able to breastfeed successfully! My implants are over the muscle and was done at the crease under the breast. I have two other children 1 of which I had absolutely no problems nursing, however that was before I got the lift!!! If anyone has experience with this or knows someone I would love to hear what you have to say!!!!! TIA!!!

1222635 tn?1366396286 I went from a small A to a full C. I had just the implants, no lift. I didnt have much to work with and went as large as I could at the time. Now that I have had 4 kids they look very natrual and no one knows the diffrence. But the only thing I can compare them to is the way your breasts look after having a baby. Full, firm and perky, lol!
Avatar f tn Just curious. Please no harshness. Im only 21 but have had 2 children and breast fed them both..(still feeding my nb) but i was thinking when im finished I might consider a boob job.. going from a AAA 32 to just back to what i was before my first pregnancy (just a nice perky B lol)they just look so sad YEA IM INSECURE ABOUT THEM...they are just for myself and my husband. ..does anyone have them and regret them? I know the prices can be so different but I was curious about that too...
1378404 tn?1278974651 i saw a plastic surgeon not too long ago who specializes in breast implants gone wrong LOL, and he told me he would take off any extra skin that should have been taken off before the implants were put in to begin with, and he would remove these saline implants, give a breast lift and put in new silicone implants of a cup size smaller. this would cost around 15k. i dont have 15k laying around.
1174607 tn?1264173583 My surgeon is wanting me to do a lift and implants to fix a lumpectomy that I had in May of 2009. It wasn't cancer, it was a galactocile the size of a softball that solidified (after trauma to my milk ducts during a car accident in Feb 2008 5wks after baby). Anyway, I have an inverted nipple and you can see were the seatbelt went thru my breast and he said due to the trauma he wanted to do the lift first and let that heal, and then do the implants.
Avatar f tn Based on your description, some form of modified breast lift with coning of the breast to achieve central fullness seem a likely possibility
Avatar n tn I have implants under the muscle incision in the fold and I have heard that cutting in the nipple can sever nerves and damage the nipple. Not the case for everyone. I would talk to your ob or a plastic surgeon to see if there is a way to tell before baby is born.
Avatar f tn I had a breast lift with silicone implants and a mini tummy tuck 5 weeks ago. Approximately 2 weeks after surgery the incision area under both breasts opened quite quickly. Within a couple of days the wounds were significantly large and weeping. For the last 3 weeks I have been on oral antibiotics and treating the wounds twice a day with silver sulfadiazine. I don't see any sign of healing and my PS will determine today if I need to be seen by a specialist.
Avatar f tn I’ve had several breast surgeries in the past such as implants then a lift then removal of implants with a lift. In 2014 both were biopsied due to capsular contracture. All clear. Now I have two oval small masses with Hypoechoic no vascularity present in either. My impression read suspicious for malignancy. I’m so scared! Praying they are benign. My mother went through the same thing several years ago and it was the same breast. Are these words very concerning?
Avatar f tn I have saline breast implants that I got 14 years ago. I regretted doing it about 5 minutes after I woke up and have been very unhappy ever since. My breasts are normal in size but I do not like the feeling of having something foreign in my body and believe it to have caused some problems with my health. I would like to have them removed but the surgeon I went to told me it would not be pretty. Has anyone had implants removed? And if so, can you ever look normal again?
Avatar m tn That would be a unique situation. I imagine those with generous breast implants may run into problems as well. If all else fails and the doctors are sure there's a problem, I suppose they could do a TEE (transesophageal echo). Not very comfortable, I'm sure.
Avatar n tn but as a result of the rapid weight loss i now suffer with sagging skin around my mid section and my breast look like deflated balloons. i was wondering if any one knew a pro bono surgen who could help me with a breast lift.
7928796 tn?1396351929 Its really different for everyone... I know one woman who breast fed three babies a year a piece with implants and I know another that breast fed her first, got implants and couldn't breast feed her second or third...
Avatar f tn I did have another surgery five months ago (a cosmetic breast lift with removal of old silicone implants which included a capsulectomy). The plastic surgeon said the implants were still contained with the scar tissue / capsule and he saw no leakage. Also, I do have GERD and as a child had juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. I did travel quite a bit internationally but that was 10 to 20 years ago. I traveled to Egypt and always ended up with severe respiratory infections.
Avatar n tn How bad will radiation be on my implant-would I get new implants after all is done? will the breast getting radiation look lik ethe other one? if I get cancer in the other one can you do a masectomy on the both even thouogh one has been radiated?
Avatar f tn Actually, if your nipple still has feeling, the chance are high. Breast augmentation (breast implants) isn't a reason alone not to be able to produce breast milk. Most likely, it depends on the kind of surgery you had, but most approaches are compatible with breastfeeding. Incisions made under the fold of the breast or through the armpit shouldn't cause any trouble. A "Smile" incision around the areola increase your risks of breastfeeding complications.
Avatar n tn ------------------------------------------------------- Vacuum-assisted biopsy (brand names, Mammotome or MIBB) allows physicians to perform accurate breast biopsies on women with breast implants. Prior to the advent of vacuum-assisted biopsy, women with implants typically had to undergo open surgical biopsy if breast cancer was suspected. Unlike surgical biopsy, vacuum-assisted biopsy is a percutaneous ("through the skin") procedure.
Avatar f tn I had a breast lift 6 yr ago but no implants. Hopefully it is scar tissue.
453893 tn?1205859801 I had breast implants on August 8th 2007. Seven months later, last week, I had a mammogram which revealed an 8mm nodular density on the upper right breast. This morning an ultrasound confirmed the presence of this white mass, so a biopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow. There is no lump in the breast, only this shadow. This breast is more sensitive and hurts consistently. The scar under the right breast hasn't healed at the same speed of the left breast scar.
Avatar f tn My friend also has breast implants and there was no problems whilst she was pregnant, her boobs did get bigger but she said they never gave her any pain, But everyone is different so i woulndt worry so much.
Avatar f tn This includes for saline or silicone breast implants. What type do you have? If they are saline, leaking implants are not a risk. And currently, saline implants are what is typically used. Is one breast or both changing in size? That's another way to know if there is an issue with the implant. Do you feel any lumps? Do you do regular breast exams? There is one type of breast plant that has recently been linked to cancer which involves implants that have a textured surface.
Avatar f tn I have very little breast tissue and have heard that people with no breast tissue or little breast tissue will get better results if the implants are placed under the muscle. And I will most probably be getting implants within couple of months. I have already talked to a surgeon Dr. Robert Backstein of Steeles Avenue Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Toronto, but haven't confirmed of getting the surgery. I will be having a meeting with him next week.
Avatar n tn I have a 6 year old daughter that I wanted to breast feed, which was obviously before the implants but I never produced milk. So if you are unable to produce, it probably has nothing to do with the implants, maybe it's just your body. I'm trying to be hopeful that this time around I will produce but so far I haven't leaked anything so I'm just thinking there is something wrong with me, lol.
161782 tn?1201217932 m pretty sure you can get a boob job for around $6K (in California - probably cheaper elsewhere) if you just get saline implants, no lift. The lifts were about $2K extra, and silicone $1k more than saline. Anesthesia can add up too. I just had a local, and it was around $1300. I wasn't awake or anything...
