Common Questions and Answers about Breast lift machine

breast

Avatar n tn I too have this problem! It stated soon after a got a breast lift and implants to correct a slight tubular breast disorder. I was wondering if it could have anything to do with the implants or the scars or just the fact that my breasts are bigger than they were. My problem, though, is that its a very strong oder! I'm not sure if people can smell it but I constantly worry that they can.
1813627 tn?1337725975 They pull down the cami and lift the loose shirt on top, exposing only a small portion of the breast, which the baby's head covers. Others wear a low fitting top and bring the breast out of the top of her shirt... Some moms would rather do this than expose their entire mid section when lifting and not wearing layers. Some moms choose to use nursing covers. Some moms feel this draws more attention. No matter how you do it, you're protected and we will be here cheering you on sister!
Avatar n tn Often several samples are taken. These can be done either in a sitting mammogram machine or on a machine in which the patient lies on her stomach. You will need to ask at your center what technique is used and options if you cannot lie on your stomach. It is an outpatient procedure that may be done by several health care professionals, including the radiologist. You will need to check to see who does these at your institution.
Avatar n tn I'm also 28 years old and I just gave birth on feb 13 2005, I used to brestfeed my daughter but I stopped for no reason. As soon as I stopped I felt a breast mass on my left breast and it's painful. If I sneeze it hurts and i don't know what this is. My doctor gave me antibiotics and I'm already taking it for 4 days but there's no good result yet. My doctor told me to take it for 7 days. I hope it's going to go away in seven days.
Avatar n tn I have muscle spasm in or around the ribs on both sides (in the front under the breast and sometimes in the back at the same horizontal position), it feels like a ball rolling, in that it switches sides. It occurs even at night during sleep, painful enough to wake me. I only know that when I relax and stretch (the side where the knot is) using several positions I have to wait till it goes away, in many cases to have it return in other places described above.
Avatar f tn The u/s showed nothing- not even a sack but it could have been too early or low tech u/s machine + I have a tilted uterus. My hcg on tuesday was 76,365 which was really good. I continued to spot every day and on sunday I got nervous that maybe I had an ectopic (since the u/s showed nothing and I was still spotting) so I went to emerg and they did a u/s and it showed live gestation (flickering heart beat) and dated the PG as 6w 5d.
Avatar n tn I'm on here currentyl as 8 years after my mastectomy and lift/reduction of other breast I'm feeling the pain again....this time in the lifted breast nipple. I tried to ignore it but it's getting worse and worse....this familiar pain...I see dr. Friday....I'm very nervous...don't want this now beautiful breast all cut up and scarred like the rest of me to find the "C" if it's there...I wasted to much time worrying it would come back...now I'm ready to live life again and this happens..
Avatar f tn Hi. Since April I have had pain above my left breast. It's not constantly there, but it comes and goes. Sometimes it feels like a burning pain, other times it feels like a cramp. I've also felt it in my armpit at times and it will also creep up over my shoulder. Although I VERY RARELY feel it on the right side, it DOES happen once in awhile. But for the most part it's been my left side.
Avatar f tn How do u prevent your breast from loosing volume/sagging or help them from accumulating to this point during pregnancy also after breastfeeding?
Avatar f tn But I have to be honest I can't imagine standing there with my breast in the mammo machine while they put this hook wire in my breast.I mean is it me . DON'T you think this will be terribly PAINFUL w/ a Hematoma the size of a golfball RIGHT WHERE THEY ARE GOING IN??????
Avatar n tn If you are at risk for placental separation, placenta previa or preterm labor, you should not lift at all, but if all is well, and you use common sense, you should be able to lift whatever you feel you can handle. The real problem comes from repetitive labor involving lifting. They have been able to relate preterm labor with very hard physical labor during pregnancy. Hope that helps. Debra :o) And here's hoping you get a BFP tomorrow, if that's what you want.
368461 tn?1291519187 BUT I am seriously considering some breast work - a lift, a reduction and implant. I'd love a second baby - so do you think this is something I should wait on - or does anyone know if my bubs will be OK if I do it before. I hope the "job" will help with my back aches too....
Avatar n tn I have gained some weight suddenly, as I have to work for 10 hrs. sitting at one place, precisely very near to the A.C. machine. I am working towards weight loss. I have joined Gym. But my main concern is the sagging breasts. I used to have well shaped breasts and now it seems I have a 54 yrs. old woman's breasts.I can no longer wear the shirts and tops I used to without embarrassment. Absolutely no excercise seems to rectify that. I dont wanna go for surgery.
4522800 tn?1470329434 My big concern right now is if I maybe should try a depressant pill to give me some lift mentally in the morning..I seem to get better as the day goes.. I never thought that I could be depressed because I am usually happy go lucky and just a Goof Ball..The last couple of months have been the roughest on me.. I know that the summer will help but I fear the winters..Do alot of crafts and sew..can make anything!
Avatar n tn Most, however, require the heart to be temporarily stopped, a heart lung machine-(bypass machine) be used and a medial sternectomy-(is where the breast bone is split so the heart can be visibly seen and repaired is performed). The heart is restarted and the breast bone is wired closed. ASD or Atrial Septial Defect- Symptoms are difficulty breathing and shortness of breath, frequent respiratory infections. ASD May Not Require Treatment if there are limited to no symptoms.
1346146 tn?1299364097 I've been exclusively breastfeeding and my son is nine months old. Recently, he's become much more interested in solids and table food than nursing, and only nurses about once or twice a day anymore, sometimes three times a day, but that's rare. Because of this, my supply is diminishing quickly. I used to produce an average of 15 ounces in 10 hours, and within a week, I'm hardly producing six ounces in that timeframe (I work full time and I pump at work).
Avatar f tn I have had 2 fibroadenomas removed in my left breast about 10 years ago. The problem is with my right breast. I'm 39 and I have a strong history of BC in my family. My mom was 41 and a cousin was 32. My Grandmother just had a mastectomy last year at age 83. I opted for stereotactic biopsy instead of excisional because the surgeon seems to think the palpable lump is "just breast tissue". I guess my question is how painful is this kind of biopsy and how accurate is it?
1147326 tn?1261631542 mention it to him and see what he thinks. Every once in awhile I will get pain in my right side when i lift someting the wrong way. my onc said it just a strain on the scar tissue, and that everything else is fine. yes i know everytime i get pain like that i fear that it is coming back. I often wonder if we live the rest of our lives with this fear in the back of our heads. are you eating anything different that could cause the constipation ?
147426 tn?1317269232 Three years ago one morning I was putting on my shoes and socks and realized I couldn't lift my R leg onto the other to put my sock on. I could barely lift it off the ground. I saw my internist who noted pathologically hyperactive reflexes on both knees and ankles, weakness of the R hip flexors and referred me to the neurologist I had seen before for migraines. I knew this neurologist thought I was a crock.
Avatar n tn My surgeon said that when he is doing my re-excision surgery that he is going to lift my breast. Does anyone know if insurance will cover a lift to my other breast?
Avatar n tn Because I haven't had any luck trying to find one. If I type in Breast Specialist I get Plastic surgery, breast enlargements. Not what I'm looking for. I'm scheduled to see a regular surgeon, I wasn't asked I was told when my appointment was.
649848 tn?1534637300 Good morning... how is everyone doing today? I hope you've all had a great week. My week is still up in the air. As you know, I've had a lot of family things going on and it seems like it just doesn't stop... Last week, I mentioned my sister who is almost sure to have breast cancer. They had to abort her biopsy because the assisted living facility didn't take her off her blood thinning medication soon enough. They'll have to do that this week, I think.
1826037 tn?1320340914 now i can finally go out but can't do much...every time i lift something i feel it...i can put 100 pounds on my shoulder for 15 seconds and then thats it..normally i carry bundles of shingles up a later no problem...not now...i could do one but it would really be a drag...i'm trying hard to keep calm about this punky feeling...so out of shape...it will be over soon...hope none of these sx plan on sticking around..good luck.....
Avatar n tn Also, ask to have it faxed if they can do it (and you have access to a fax machine). Most places usually charge a fee for having to print and mail another copy, but most will fax for free. At least this way you can see a total breakdown of all the charges you incurred while at the hospital and can add them up yourself. It's also possible that the hospital is billing duplicate (it happens occasionally, but insurance should catch duplicates).
Avatar n tn Or is this just to help get over any effects of the heart-lung machine, not necessarily related to difficulty drawing breath? I feel blessed to have this surgery during Lent as by Easter I will be a whole new (somewhat bionic--ha ha) me! Thanks mucho for any advice or tips anyone can think of! Susan Good Luck. I had open heart back in September for an ascending aorta aneurysm - luckily they were able to spare my own valve.
Avatar n tn Do your breathing exercises, walk every day and before you know it, you'll be back to normal. Don't lift anything heavier than about 10 pounds for six to eight weeks to let your breast bone heal. At six weeks I started riding an exercise bike, at 8, running two miles and light weights, and at 12 playing hockey. Good Luck, I hope this helps. Dear Todd, thank you for your input to the heart forum.
Avatar f tn Only being 6 wks post op, It sound's like your doing pretty good considering. Just keep taking it easy, and don't lift, bend, or over doing it with physical activies. I didn't listen to the doctor so I suffered for it because of it Your in my chairian prayers. We want to hear of your healing. Kepep us posted. It has been over a yr for me and I am still having problems to deal with. Once a chairian, alway's a Chairian.
Avatar n tn For lifting, I use a machine to lift for around 45 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes in the evening the other 3 days of the week, with the last day being for rest. So my questions are, what are good diet and exercise routines for someone like me to lose weight and gain muscle? Oh yeah, I also use protein shakes for after lifting weights, do they really help build muscle?
12182312 tn?1427687556 Hey Kelle619. It's almost a certain that you will be positioned head-first into the tube. I say almost because new equipment is coming online constantly; short-bore, as well as patient friendlier large bore diameter machines. The time you spend in the MRI may be 15 to 30 minutes depending on how many passes they need. You may also have an IV line in your arm to inject a contrast dye during the procedure.
