Breast lift before pregnancy

Common Questions and Answers about Breast lift before pregnancy

Avatar f tn Liposuction of the breasts is possible, but with the size of your breasts, I would caution that the amount of reduction may be limited. A breast lift is also possible, but may be advisable at the time of breast reduction after you have children and have completed nursing. Your breasts will likely undergo shape and volume change with pregnancy and since you plan to do the major procedure then, it seems best to accomplish everything then.
Avatar f tn If you were a healthy weight prior to your pregnancy, set your pre-pregnancy weight as a goal. If you were overweight before getting pregnant, ask your doctor or for a healthy weight range for your height and age. Eat between 1,800 to 2,200 calories a day if you are breast-feeding to ensure your infant has adequate nutrition. Eat at least 1,200 calories a day, if you are not breast-feeding.

Avatar f tn I knew my breasts would droop after the removal, so I also had a breast lift. I am glad I did. My Doctors refused to believe the implants had anything to do with how I felt... so I found an excellent plastic surgeon and had the implants removed on my own. If you have had a rupture and you have insurance, very often your insurance will pay for removal, be careful how you phrase your request for removal, tell them you do not feel well since the rupture.
Avatar f tn I know a lot of women who did breast feed their babies lost their boob size. I want to breast feed but i also dont want to loose my boob this slefish idk?
167 tn?1374177417 I just scheduled a consult for a lift and possible fill. Anyone had a lift before? I have no idea what to expect. I'm tired of the saggy girls though. I want the perk back!
Avatar f tn Now fast forward 5 months later, there even more out of shape and saggy then before. And I didnt breastfeed. My bf thinks that once I get my breast done, I will be one of those women who shows them off. But in reality I just want to be comfortable when I look in the mirror. I want to feel like a real women, not a freak. I dont want some ginormous implant. In fact, I'm more concerned about the asymetry than having a large boob. I would like for them to be a bit fuller and rounder.
Avatar f tn I had a breast augmentation in May to fix where I had breastfed my first baby. We hadn't planned on getting pregnant again but I am currently 9 weeks. I still plan on breastfeeding and am curious to what my augmentation will look like afterwards. Has anyone else previously had a breast aug and breastfed after that could fill me in on what to expect?
Avatar m tn I took a whole bag of fluid. While there, the ER doctor squeezed a sore lump in my stomach I hadn't noticed before, about 2-2 1/2" directly above where the lump had been in my navel (navel was removed during surgery). It's a fairly good sized lump (about baseball sized) and is more pronounced when I stand up. If you feel it when I'm standing, it's hard. It gets a little softer upon sitting. I called the doctors office, but can't get in until Thursday.
353148 tn?1293064764 First off I have 2 teens who are 15 and 16 and 1 infant who is 9 months. My teens were formula fed and my infant is being breast fed. The older two started sleeping through the night at 2 months. My 1st born was way ahead of her game, walking at 9 months, talking at 8 months....ect. My 2nd child took his time. We later learned he was taking it all in. He even learned at 3 how to tie his shoes simply by watching me teach his sister, it took her another 2 years.
Avatar f tn I do have second thoughts about doing it because I have had a tumor in my breast before. It was benignbut I would worry that breast cancer would be harder to detect. Anyway hun, you are not alone.
Avatar f tn I am 31 with no children but planning to get pregnant in next year or two and I am considering getting my axillary breast tissue removed soon before pregnancy so I wonder if there is reason for waiting...any thoughts or elaborations from you all would be greatly appreciated!!!
Avatar n tn I gained 50 pounds during pregnancy and have 13 pounds left now at 12 weeks postpartum---I did't start any exercise until 40 days after and lost the weight from breastfeeding and exercise and watching my diet within the first 2 months---now I am stuck---I have gone down another pants size without losing any pounds onthe scale---Iwas a 6 before pregnancy and squeezed into a 12 after the first 2 weeks post partum--now I fit into 8 comfortably--but that little belly won't go away and my breasts wen
Avatar f tn I took Follistim and Progesterone before I found out I had cancer. I cannot say or directly relate the cancer to the infertility treatments. I had other indicators such as very dense breasts, fibroids, history of cancer in my immediate family, late in having my babies (35) and had one miscarriage very early in my life (19). This is my opinion.... as long as someone is watching your "calcifications" closely for changes, go ahead and start fertility treatments.
Avatar n tn My surgeon told me(before I was released)that it was caused by the missing abdominal muscle, and that I should strengthen the obliques.I have found that in exercising them, the pronounced tummy area only gets worse.Do others have the same problem? Were they sent to therapy to help regain the strength? Although the surgery went well and I am happy not to have hollows were my breasts were, I'm regretting the fact that I may have pain upon lifting, walking, bending, etc. for the rest of my life.
Avatar n tn I breast fed my daughter until she was 4 years old. I am very proud of this although I felt I had to do it in relative secrecy for the last 2 years as family and friends frowned upon what I was doing and thought it to be rather abnormal. My daughter is now 7 and still has a very fond affection for my breasts. She likes to hug and kiss them as much as possible. Could you please let me know if you think that this is ok and acceptable or should I try to discourage.
1222635 tn?1366399886 did it give you a natural lift without actually getting a lift? all in all, what were the results of your augmentation, no matter what you had done?
Avatar f tn I dont know if I can stop because I have tryed and I cant even hardly lift my arm to work when I do. Are there any other methods that anyone has tryed to relieve pain? Or anything to help the withdraws? I am so scared and dont know what to do. I am more afraid of hurting the baby but even more scared of my baby being addicted when It is born. I havent been to the baby doctor yet, my appointment is this week. I dont even know how to begin to tell her that I am addicted and need them....
Avatar n tn We did babydance before the doctor told me to wait for my first AF before trying again. One of my breast feels sore, but I don't know if it is a mental thing because I want to be PG now. I am 35. I also have a question. If you have a D&C is that counted as bleeding for an AF? I only bled that day and did not bleed anymore. Baby dust to you all.
Avatar n tn It's kinda like playing Russian Rullette when it comes to having unprotected sex. 1 in 2 people have something. As far as the pregnancy thing goes, if you had sex before your period you should be fine. Most women ovulate 14 days after their period for five days, being more fertile on days 4 and 5. So, do the math. If you think it was on one of those days, you better get a test done. Good luck and be careful. Tarp the load!
142722 tn?1281537216 I think there are lot of problems associated with this breast enhancement surgery. I am a regular user of Zoft Breast Enhancement Gum which is a natural product and i am using it for the past 4 weeks.
Avatar n tn I know the wait is unbearable, and I did do a home pregnancy test way before my blood work date, because I could not wait. My HPT did pick up and gave me a positive, but I know other people where it did not. Try to wait for blood because blood tells no lies. I had cramping and slight bleeding after the transfer, before my blood test, but I knew I was pregnant because hpt were saying I was.
Avatar f tn Actually I noticed that, I did put on weight when I was taking it a couple of months ago and it was way too early in the pregnancy to be the pregnancy! LOL No way do I want to look fat before I'm even pregnant! LOL I'm so tiny too and any wieght I gain shows a lot.
Avatar n tn I am looking for more info on pregnancy after an endometrial ablation. I had an ablation in May 2002. January 2003 I was not feeling well and went to the family doctor. She thought it may be an ectopic pregnancy since I was told I was sterile. I had an ultrasound to discover it was an interuterine pregnancy and I was about 9 weeks. I am now 17 weeks and for the past month trying to decide to terminate or continue.
Avatar n tn My husband has noticed a golf ball sized lump just under his left breast as well. I decided that before I posted here I would wait for the diagnosis. So far, he has had a ct scan and an xray. They told him that it looks like a fluid filled cyst. He has a consult with the surgeon next week. They said that it is best to get these things out before they get too big and wrap themselves around nerves that are prevalent in the area.
Avatar n tn I have muscle spasm in or around the ribs on both sides (in the front under the breast and sometimes in the back at the same horizontal position), it feels like a ball rolling, in that it switches sides. It occurs even at night during sleep, painful enough to wake me. I only know that when I relax and stretch (the side where the knot is) using several positions I have to wait till it goes away, in many cases to have it return in other places described above.
Avatar f tn I know I can always have a lift done (suggested by DF), but I don't want to be spending a load of $$$ I don't have on a breast lift to only have more children in the future. So, for those of you who have breastfed and those of you who mainly pumped....what are the effects on the girls?
Avatar n tn I think you should definitely get a doctor to take a pregnancy test before you do the xrays. They will ask you anyway if there is any chance you are pregnant, and you can't lie. Ok, I am in a similar boat as some of you guys. I am 9 days late and 3 preg tests have come up negative. This is getting very frustrating. I am trying to decide when it is appropriate to go to the doctor, after being 2 or 3 weeks late or should I wait until my next period is due.
Avatar n tn I too had to have two doses of methotrexate before my numbers started to go down. It still took about 3 weeks of havimg my blood checked every two days after the second shot. One night i had extreme pain and the next morning i went to urinate and what i assumed was a blood clot the size of my fist(it was actuall the sac)came out. Afterwards I was fine.
Avatar f tn (still feeding my nb) but i was thinking when im finished I might consider a boob job.. going from a AAA 32 to just back to what i was before my first pregnancy (just a nice perky B lol)they just look so sad YEA IM INSECURE ABOUT THEM...they are just for myself and my husband. ..does anyone have them and regret them?
