breast

Avatar f tn hey my boobs are too small do not like them what can I do about them.
Avatar f tn I'm 24 weeks currently with implants. I was 34D before, I've been wearing a 36D nursing bra which is too small. I have a 36DD ordered. I've gained a lot of weight in my chest. Plus I have already started leaking.
Avatar n tn Calf implants to improve leg contour are a relatively rare, but well recognized procedure. These implants are placed via small incisions behind the knees. Often two implants are placed behind each lower leg to mimic the fullness of the gastroc muscles.
Avatar m tn I know and understand that the chance of correction is small but my question is, how many times is just too many attempts to correct without doing permanent damage to my breast tissue? What are the long term effects, if any? I waited one full year this time (5th attempt now) to correct left side (right is soft and has NO capsule) and am considering what my next step will be if I don't get correction again this time. Thanks for your reply.
Avatar n tn I had a breast implant operation done in August this year and my left breast healing normal, but my right breast anytime I give my self the massage a few little knots appear under the skin, is not painful, but I am worried, and the thing about it is that I got the procedure done in Venezuela and I live in Trinidad so I cannot see my doctor, I will like to know if this is something serious.
Avatar n tn I've had breast cancer twice now and also had saline implants. It's not unusual to have little twitches or small pains, you do have scar tissue in there. I would like to say and have said it before to Drs. that dismiss the pain with breast cancer shame on you. At age 32 they tried to dismiss my lump first because of my age and second because it was painful .... breast cancer doesn't hurt....WRONG!!!!!!! If I had listened to the Drs, I would not be here today. It was cancer.
Avatar n tn Thanks ladies for responding. @Amy1830 see I was a small A before implants and went up to a D I'm 33w1d and my cup size has not change much during pregnancy still wearing the same bra of D or Dd for extra support that's why I feel like I'm not producing milk what's so ever.
655089 tn?1224362093 I have breast implants and very little natural breast tissue. In the summer of 2007, a routine mammogram showed a cluster of calcifications on the right breast. I went through 2 failed stereotactic needle biopsies (not enough tissue to preform) before I had a surgical biopsy. It was found to be benign. Now, I was told on Oct. 15,2008 that I have 3 clusters of calcifications on my left side and also a small non-palpable mass which was found on an ultrasound.
Avatar n tn ------------------------------------------------------- Vacuum-assisted biopsy (brand names, Mammotome or MIBB) allows physicians to perform accurate breast biopsies on women with breast implants. Prior to the advent of vacuum-assisted biopsy, women with implants typically had to undergo open surgical biopsy if breast cancer was suspected. Unlike surgical biopsy, vacuum-assisted biopsy is a percutaneous ("through the skin") procedure.
7928796 tn?1396351929 Its really different for everyone... I know one woman who breast fed three babies a year a piece with implants and I know another that breast fed her first, got implants and couldn't breast feed her second or third...
Avatar f tn You should not have gone for breast implants. See, not everyone are good candidates for breast implants. The surgeon will conduct some physical examinations and then only he allows you to get breast implants. I think you were not a good candidate. It might be the problem while conducting the above mentioned physical examinations that made you a good candidate. A dear friend of mine has had breast augmentation few years back.
Avatar n tn I asked her if she should not do a biopsy of the lymph node before I have the implants replaced and she said she could not because of where it is located and it is too small. I asked what will happen if it grows and she said it will need a biopsy. My question is does this sound like proper procedure and if my node does grow and I need a biopsy is it safe with implants due to the location of the node?
Avatar n tn I have a situation that is similar to you. In the last year I have had two separate lumps that don't show up on mammogram or ultrasound. I have been to three separate sugeons for second and third opinions, since I'm the paranoid type. These doctors all feel that they don't warrent a biospy at this time.
Avatar f tn I had breast implants in April of last year, the nurse told me to put band aids over my nipples if the became to sensitive, which I did, when i took them off, it seemed that the band aid took a few layers of the skin around my areola on one breast, I didn't pay much attention to it. It seems that my areola on that one breast is spreading, and its been the same for about 10 months until now its getting a little bit bigger and started to flake, like its dry skin.
Avatar f tn I got them done last year. So happy I did it. It made me feel better about myself. Im now pregnant with my 3rd. This is my 1st pregnancy since I got breast implants and I'm hoping they stay the same size lol I went from a small b to a DD. Im thinking they should stay the same size tho since I deff don't plan on breastfeeding.. too much work lol. I deff recommend getting them done. Just make sure u research all ur options before u commit to a surgeon. Make sure he is board certified.
Avatar n tn thankyouvery much for replying. I have seen 3 different breast specialist and they all draw a blank. I have had about 6 courses of antibiotics, I don't have hiv, hep c etc. I wanted my breast specialist to do an exploration of the breast or remove the implants or something but he doesn't think its warranted. At the same time the pain is always worrying too me.
Avatar n tn I had a breast lift with a very small implant put in about 10 years ago, now that I am unexpectedly pregnant Im very concerned about being able to breastfeed successfully! My implants are over the muscle and was done at the crease under the breast. I have two other children 1 of which I had absolutely no problems nursing, however that was before I got the lift!!! If anyone has experience with this or knows someone I would love to hear what you have to say!!!!! TIA!!!
Avatar n tn How bad will radiation be on my implant-would I get new implants after all is done? will the breast getting radiation look lik ethe other one? if I get cancer in the other one can you do a masectomy on the both even thouogh one has been radiated?
475180 tn?1208946399 I do have noticle lumps in both breasts, lots of pain radiating from the nipple, and pain behind it, I even feel lumps directly behind the nipples that hurt so much, as well as a few away from the nipples.. I also have breast implants which now I have had for 10 years now. I have a mammagram scheduled next week. I was wondering if an ultrasound or even an mri would be able to detect something more? I am seriously thinking of having the implants removed too.

Avatar n tn First, after compress, breast tissue too thin for needle biopsy; second, calcifications are too tiny to use needle biopsy. So wire localization surgical open biopsy has been recommended for my situation. I also like you, never had any surgery to general anesthesia, and would prefer less invasion too. So I seeking other options, so far, this seems the only choice.
6918915 tn?1395932871 I've seen this question before but I don't think anyone ever answered it. I have silicone gel, under the muscle implants. I've been told I can probably still breast feed but my boob haven't started leaking yet and with my first they leaked at 29 weeks (I didn't have implants then.) So now idk if that means anything. But also I want to know about the after effects of pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do they sag and shrink?
Avatar n tn How are you? During breast feeding, tender/small lump in the breast can be due to free movement of milk that is stopped because of a block in some duct of the breast. Massaging the area or using warm compress on the area will help the lump to dissolve. However, if this persists, i agree with being vigilant with your health. Given your family background, Mammogram, ultrasound and CA125 will be very helpful in ruling out cancer. Take care and keep us posted.
2146297 tn?1337571292 Hello everyone, I have a question about getting breast implants. I'm turning 30 in August and I was really looking forward to getting a boob job. I have been planning this for like 3 years and when I was diagnosed in May last yr, I assumed the boob job was out of the question. From what I understand, only infection and fever cause a relapse.??? This is what I'm wondering about. What about the anithesia? Could that hurt me because of the MS? How likely is it for an infection to occur?
1378404 tn?1278974651 i saw a plastic surgeon not too long ago who specializes in breast implants gone wrong LOL, and he told me he would take off any extra skin that should have been taken off before the implants were put in to begin with, and he would remove these saline implants, give a breast lift and put in new silicone implants of a cup size smaller. this would cost around 15k. i dont have 15k laying around.
