Let's see, I know have had some pain with the itching too. I dont' feel lumps in the breast that is itching but maybe some very tiny ones in the other breast that has no pain or itching. No breast size change or nipple change, though I they are sensitive, but is that from all the scratching, I don't know. I have never had this issue before. I did have reconstrutive surgery done back in Marchof 2003 with saline implants put in at that time.
I am not on any medication, do not do drugs and do not suffer from any mental health problems. I do however have breast implants but these had been in situ for over a year before the itching began. Apart from the symptoms listed above I do not suffer from any other problems.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions please?
Hi there and welcome. Oh, are you saying you've had breast augmentation and are just now feeling this way? (was trying to get how the implant comment fit in). Sometimes during autmentation, nerves can be damaged and cause an itchy sensation to happen.
Anyway, I would make an appointment with your general practitioner and go from there. Discuss your energy level and moodiness (sounds like THAt could be hormonal in nature) as well as the itchiness.

Vacuum-assisted biopsy (brand names, Mammotome or MIBB) allows physicians to perform accurate breast biopsies on women with breast implants. Prior to the advent of vacuum-assisted biopsy, women with implants typically had to undergo open surgical biopsy if breast cancer was suspected.
Unlike surgical biopsy, vacuum-assisted biopsy is a percutaneous ("through the skin") procedure.
Actually, if your nipple still has feeling, the chance are high. Breast augmentation (breast implants) isn't a reason alone not to be able to produce breast milk. Most likely, it depends on the kind of surgery you had, but most approaches are compatible with breastfeeding. Incisions made under the fold of the breast or through the armpit shouldn't cause any trouble. A "Smile" incision around the areola increase your risks of breastfeeding complications.
This includes for saline or silicone breast implants. What type do you have? If they are saline, leaking implants are not a risk. And currently, saline implants are what is typically used. Is one breast or both changing in size? That's another way to know if there is an issue with the implant. Do you feel any lumps? Do you do regular breast exams? There is one type of breast plant that has recently been linked to cancer which involves implants that have a textured surface.
I think the best thing you could do is to see a Breast Specialist about the symptoms you describe. Any time you notice something that doesn't seem "right" concerning your breast you should have it checked out sooner rather than later. Breast Self Exam is good but seeing your Dr. is better especially if you have found something abnormal. Please make an appointment soon for a clinical breast exam and any other testing that may be appropriate. Regards ....
Does anyone have breast implants?
I prefer breast implants to be placed under the muscle. I have very little breast tissue and have heard that people with no breast tissue or little breast tissue will get better results if the implants are placed under the muscle. And I will most probably be getting implants within couple of months. I have already talked to a surgeon Dr. Robert Backstein of Steeles Avenue Cosmetic Surgery Clinic in Toronto, but haven't confirmed of getting the surgery.
One of my old friends had breast implants, now she is on her 4th.
The risks are very low and they feel more like real breast. I to will be getting implants after the expanders have done thier work. But I am getting gummy implants. They are fairly new to the US but have been used in Canada and abroad for years. They feel fabulous and the contents are like gummy bear material. But again if I had to choose between silicone or saline I would choose silicone every time. My PS says they are safe.
You should not have gone for breast implants. See, not everyone are good candidates for breast implants. The surgeon will conduct some physical examinations and then only he allows you to get breast implants. I think you were not a good candidate. It might be the problem while conducting the above mentioned physical examinations that made you a good candidate. A dear friend of mine has had breast augmentation few years back.
I've had breast cancer twice now and also had saline implants. It's not unusual to have little twitches or small pains, you do have scar tissue in there. I would like to say and have said it before to Drs. that dismiss the pain with breast cancer shame on you. At age 32 they tried to dismiss my lump first because of my age and second because it was painful .... breast cancer doesn't hurt....WRONG!!!!!!! If I had listened to the Drs, I would not be here today. It was cancer.
I had a breast implant operation done in August this year and my left breast healing normal, but my right breast anytime I give my self the massage a few little knots appear under the skin, is not painful, but I am worried, and the thing about it is that I got the procedure done in Venezuela and I live in Trinidad so I cannot see my doctor, I will like to know if this is something serious.
I have a 6 year old daughter that I wanted to breast feed, which was obviously before the implants but I never produced milk. So if you are unable to produce, it probably has nothing to do with the implants, maybe it's just your body. I'm trying to be hopeful that this time around I will produce but so far I haven't leaked anything so I'm just thinking there is something wrong with me, lol.
I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I have breast implants and really don't have alot of soreness. I'm trying to find out if this is normal with breast implants.
