Breast implants how much

Common Questions and Answers about Breast implants how much

Avatar f tn Hi ladies. Does anyone or no of anyone that has Implants while pregnant. How big did they get while pregnant and how did they go after pregnancy ?
Avatar f tn Hello, If you are having breast implants and are pregnant ten they will not get infected due to the implants. The most common difficulty presented with breastfeeding and implants, is the inadequate production of breast milk. Patients with breast implants will notice enlargement of the breasts with the hormonal surge that is associated with pregnancy. Though there is not much reason to worry, you should also consider the possibility of your implants leaking into the breast milk.
5644233 tn?1371561286 Does anyone know which implant is better to get? How much does it usually cost? How long is the recovery? Any of these questions will help me make a closer choice :)!
Avatar f tn It costs as much to have the implants removed and have a breast lift as it does to have implants. Right now you could probably get reasonable FIXED RATE financing to have this done. Ask at the Doctors office, look on the net for reviews of this sort of thing... When I had my implants removed, I also had a mastopexy (or breast lift). I was very happy with my results and very glad to have the effects from the silicon gradually disappear.
Avatar f tn Hi Everyone, Is there anyone out there that is or have breast feed successfully with implants? I have implants under my breast muscles, so of course I should be able to breast feed. Just wondering if anyone wanted to share their experience and give me a couple of pointers for my future little one. I still have a little over 5 months before he / she gets here but I want to be prepared. Thanks!
Avatar n tn I don't normally post here but you all seem so helpful I though maybe someone might be able to give me some insight. I have breast implants and I plan to breast feed my baby when he/she gets here. However I know it it much harder and there is a chance you can not with implants esp. if they are over the muscle (which mine are). I was wondering if anyone had any positive experiences with this where they were able to breast feed and produce an adequate supply of milk.
142722 tn?1281537216 i definitely had enough milk to feed even with the implants but i could take how big they were...too much to handle so i nly breastfed my son a month or so....but now he is 9 months old and i think they look better than ever....they are only softer than before looking more natural...but the shape is the same....good luck and i hope i helped.
Avatar f tn Remove implants and put in smaller implants with product called Alloderm over the top of the left implant to "thicken" up my very papery skin. I want to know if anyone is famililar with the product Alloderm? Do you think this could solve my "papery" problem. Would the smaller implants possibly make me more comfortable? What about complete removal? Would that make me more comfortable? What about prosthesis? Anyone use these things?
142722 tn?1281537216 Ok, just want to know if anyone has breast feed her child with breast implants? How is it? Also, I am 8w6d and have gained 7pounds - is this normal? It seems to much. It has been 11years since I had a child, so I have forgotten what was like.
169867 tn?1327602254 I was wondering if anyone had any personla experience of or knew of any websites or anywhere where I can get more info on breastfeeding and breast implants. I'm 25 weeks pregnant and have implants (over the muscle) but need more info before I can make any decision to breastfeed. I have already got 4 children (all breastfed) and have had my implants a couple of years, so this is all new to me. I'm hoping it will still be possible, I'm usually leaking by now but so far not a thing...
Avatar n tn I had breast implants in for 20 years. I went in regularly and had them checked. I did not, however, breast feed my kids. I waited until I was done. The doctor kept telling me he thought everything was fine. I began having major health issues. I told a friend how I was feeling and she asked me if I happened to have implants. I couldn't believe it! She said that many girls have sued the implant company and gotten money because they have gotten ill from the implants.
Avatar n tn I have had breast implants for 20 years and they seem to be fine so far. I've really had no problems for the whole 20 years. They are celicone. I have been told they should be replaced every so often, but don't want to go thru a surgery that is not absolutely necessary. What is your opinion on this subject? I am now 51. I have PVCs, so want to avoid any stress.
Avatar n tn As Chev mentioned you would really need to discuss your procedure with a qualified expert, (Infact.. may I suggest SEVERAL) before making such a drastic decision! There is Sooooo much to take into consideration, I am assuming this was a bilateral procedure???? Much will also depend on your anatomy!
Avatar f tn Can you imagine trying to breastfeed! She would have to sit down opposite her hubby, have him hold the baby up to the breast! Reminds me of an old black and whit film that used to be out with a giant boob going around squirting everyone with milk! Cheesy at best!
Avatar n tn Hi there! I initially had breast augmentation with saline implants in '98. In '02 I decided to go a little bigger.(Mcghan 390cc filled to 430 cc's) Dr. said I was borderline for needing lift, but thought implants alone would be sufficient. The first couple of years they looked great, but now my nipple is looking a little low on breast mound. I was wondering if I had lift if I could get away with using same implants, or do I need a new set? If I got new ones could I get silicone?
Avatar n tn The risks are very low and they feel more like real breast. I to will be getting implants after the expanders have done thier work. But I am getting gummy implants. They are fairly new to the US but have been used in Canada and abroad for years. They feel fabulous and the contents are like gummy bear material. But again if I had to choose between silicone or saline I would choose silicone every time. My PS says they are safe.
Avatar n tn I had breast implants done about four years ago, what effect will this have on breastfeeding, boobs are killing me already, am only early in pregnancy, 7wks 2 days, they are even more sensitive than they were before I had implants done when breastfeedng other two babies.
Avatar n tn Finally! you know how long it can take to just get to this point. Well I went to the surgeon last night and he told me I wouldn't like the end result of expanders/implants due to me being so large breasted. I am a 36DD and he says I have so much skin and areola that it wouldn't be symetrical and I wouldn't be satisfied with the end result. I was almost actually looking forward to the breast reduction because I wanted to go down to a 36B.
336277 tn?1198037742 How far along are you? I already have colostrum coming through, my implants are under the muscle as well. I have been told that I should have no problem breastfeeding. I guess I will find out very soon.
Avatar n tn The DIEP flap employs skin and fatty tissue in the abdomen to restore the breast. The result in the abdomen is much like a tummy tuck in that the abdominal contour is often improved significantly as well. In contrast to the TRAM flap, the DIEP procedure does not sacrifice the muscles of the abdominal wall. This preserves the abdominal strength and avoids the need for implanted mesh. Perforator flaps represent the state of the art in breast reconstruction.
Avatar f tn Vacuum-assisted biopsy (brand names, Mammotome or MIBB) allows physicians to perform accurate breast biopsies on women with breast implants. Vacuum-assisted biopsy relies on stereotactic mammography or ultrasound imaging for guidance. Stereotactic mammography involves using computers to pinpoint the exact location of a breast mass based on mammograms (x-rays) taken from two different angles. The computer coordinates will help the physician to guide the needle to the correct area in the breast.
Avatar n tn I have implants and they do shrink after breast feeding, not the implants bit my boobs, they also arn't like they were after I breast fed. It seems like they sag a little more now because of being so big while I was pregnant I have a little extra skin.I would recomend to wait to get a boob job if your going to get one till after your done having kids.Even if you dont breast feed they still change after preganacy.
Avatar f tn We are told to wear non-wired bras whilst pregnant and feeding so as not to damage breast tissue, it doesn't do much for your cleavage, but better than damaging yourself permanently. Also, having a baby may change your size, so don't rush into anything for a result you may get naturally.
Avatar n tn Six months after the masectomies I had saline implants for my reconstructive surgery. The implants are not even, my left breast cannot be touched because it causes too much pain, and I feel that my right breast may be loosing solution. I have contacted the surgeon who did the original surgery and he is unconcerned. He stated that the difference in the location is "minor" and that, because I am middle-aged I should expect that my breasts would be "droopy".
Avatar n tn I am a breast cancer survivor with saline implants, presently taking no medications. My ECG was atypical at V2 point. Could saline implants cause an irregularity in the lead placements and the results of ECG? At home, my blood pressure runs about 130/80. Which is my true blood pressure? The physician scheduled a nuclear stress test and wrote prescription for Atacand (AstraZeneca) 16mg. Could Atacand 16mg be too aggressive?
Avatar n tn Without reviewing the mammograms and ultrasounds, we cannot speculate on what this could be and how concerning it is. Certainly, implants can and do complicated imaging but it is curious that this "spot" was there on 3 mammograms and 1 ultrasound and then disappeared. Since it was present on all of these images before, it may be reasonable to repeat the ultrasound. If it still fails to show up, you can discuss with your doctor what additional testing may be appropriate.
