Avatar n tn While talking with a group of casual acquaintances yesterday about financial donations to cancer research, one of them said, "I can't see where donations do any good as they are still doing the same thing they did 50 years ago..cut and poison." On Wednesday I will have blood work and a breast MRI with more biopsies to see what they can find. On Thursday I will meet with the dream team to find out what the plan will be.

It was a flawed study and should not be taken as the final say on the matter.” He went on to recount cases of otherwise healthy 80 year-old men who developed high-grade prostate cancer, suffered, and died.

I remember when the American Liver Foundation came out with an article about how we should not call ourselves heppers, it was a pigeon-hole kind of name that does not do the American public any good as far as becoming educated. Too easy to write "heppers" off.
541150 tn?1306037443 But I'm glad to see there are no-kill shelters like yours where good care is offered always. Do you guys ask for donations? Do you get donations at all? Many no-kill shelters are forced to close for lack of budget. It's so sad. I'm glad you have a good vet. After all, our pets' lives depend on them for the most part. I will be waiting to read all about your baby. Keep taking good care of him. I'm sorry they have to go through this, but they aren't alone, that's for sure. They have us.
