1222635 tn?1366399886 i dont know where else to ask this; but i am considered getting breast augmentation surgery if DH will cave LOL...have any of you had it done? i was lucky enough to escape pregnancy without my breasts sagging, but i still think they could be perkier and a little bigger. ( wear a B/C depending on the bra ) i know its more expensive to get a lift by itself, but i what i REALLY want is implants AND a lift. but im scared how much that will cost. did anyone get JUST implants?
Avatar m tn breast augmentation, a breast job has different methods.
517119 tn?1285874992 Make sure that your plastic surgeon is experienced in breast reconstruction, not just breast augmentation. Many are not so this is an important thing to find out. You will be around to see your children grow up and your grandchildren and that will be many, many years away for your 15 month old.
Avatar f tn She went into surgery for about 45 mins, came out, went home and that was the end of it. Both my sisters now have breast tissue under their underarms and both hate the way it looks. They both had it checked out and the doc told them it was harmless. One sister though has been complaining that it hurts her when she is close to getting her AF so shes going back to the doc to possibly have it removed.
Avatar f tn I had a Lumpectomy in January 2010 with negative Margins. Five years ago I had Cosmetic Breast Augmentation Saline Implants. My Surgeon recommended Radiation. I understand ,that a standard Procedure will be out of consideration, because of Capsular Contracture. Is it BRANCHYTHERAPY an option in my particular case? Please, advise!
Avatar f tn breast lift, breast reduction, and breast enlargement (augmentation). Depending on your specific case, one or more of these techniques would be helpful to restore a youthful look to your bosom. Breasts are not stagnant organs, they are always changing throughout life. In a young women they grow and develop. They change each month with the menstrual cycle. Pregnancy affects the breasts as does nursing.
Avatar n tn and wants liposuction and breast augmentation due to breast migration.lm worried that what im reading now will happen...
Avatar n tn I had a pretty normal mammo 2/06, but had a breast lift and augmentation. now microcals appear different, plus new ones. have been recommended to have 4 biopsies. any feedback?
Avatar f tn Just had breast augmentation last Monday. Been having to use stomach muscles a lot to get in and out of bed. I feel some type of movment above my belly button and a little to the left. I'm obviously not pregnant. But sometimes when I move in will feel a sudden sharp pain like someone is stabbing me in the same spot. It last maybe a few seconds and goes away. It's always with movement not when I'm sitting or laying still. I'm trying to figure out if this is gas or maybe muscle spasm.
Avatar n tn I was actually in the process of preparing for breast augmentation surgery when this was discovered - will I still be able to have breast augmentation?
Avatar n tn After first set of mammogram, they said they needed to take a couple more, then the radiologist asked me if I ever injured my breast, family history of breast cancer, etc. I knew something was not right. In the end, the doctor told me "I can't tell what it is" and my Gyn said that he's "suspicious of breast cancer." I am scheduled for biopsy on monday. I am very scared and emotionally drained right now and don't know what to think or who to talk to.
Avatar n tn I am 5 feet tall and weigh 112 pounds and am actually smaller than I was before we had kids. I actually just had a breast augmentation too. After breast feeding 3 kids, they just didn't have the same perkiness or volume. In the beginning he was a little hesitant of me having the surgery, but once I got it done, he loved it and couldn't keep his hands off my boobs!.
Avatar n tn There are great advances in all types of treatment for breast cancer, too---surgery, chemo and radiation. Certainly and sadly, some women will still die from breast cancer, but there is always hope now and for the future. Here's an excellent article that I found very helpful from the Susan G. Komen Foundation regarding breast cancer odds: http://www.bookofodds.com/content/view/print/484595. I hope it's also helpful to you.
199177 tn?1490502134 Well, I had Plastic Surgery, and I have to be honest and say if I had it to do overagain, I wouldn't do it. I had a Breast Augmentation and Liposuction when I was 37. I have "Silicone" Implants, and I got mine put in right before they came out with all that bad information about Silicone. the Lipo was really a nightmare. The Surgeon said that the pain wouldn't be too bad and I'd be back to work in a week. Well for me that was not so. The Pain was awful.
Avatar n tn I honestly would say by the 4month it just lifted just like that I woke up one morning and that feeling was just gone! So I don't know if the breast feeding as anything to do with it or not...I only breast feed for 6 weeks because we found out my daughter was lactose intolerant and now she has a milk allergy but I hope this helped a little bit. I am really worried with this pregnancy that I may get it again. I will definatly call my doctor this time around.
Avatar n tn Are you putting this on the same level as a nose job, breast augmentation or lip plumping? Given the alternative, I'd readily accept my doctor's removal of my diseased organs anytime. You're right. We have choices in life. I choose to preserve my life for as long as I can. I also choose to help educate other women about ovca, not to terrorize and intimidate them. There's a difference, don't you think?
Avatar n tn Hey everyone! Check out this information about lipodissolve. I don’t really know what to make of it all but the procedure seems to be raising lots of unanswered questions: “http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=70876” “http://online.wsj.com/article/SB118160554567831887-search.html?KEYWORDS=rundle” Oh and this website I found also seems to be pretty informative: www.lipotreatmentfacts.org. Anyone have any thoughts regarding all this?
Avatar n tn The same sort of thing went on years ago about silicone breast implants. Millions were paid out in class action suits. Horrible symptoms all over the place. Guess what? Not a single study has ever conclusively linked them with any health problem. It is extremely common for women to have hormone disruptions that can cause every one of your symptoms. If you believe strongly that something is the cause, and you take that thing away, 99% of the time the symptoms will clear up, too.
Avatar n tn Generalized vulvodynia is pain in different areas of the vulva at different times. Vulvar pain may be constant or occur every once in a while. Touch or pressure may or may not prompt it. But this may make the pain worse. Vulvar vestibulitis syndrome is pain in the vestibule. This is the entrance to the vagina. Often a burning sensation, this type of vulvar pain comes on only after touch or pressure, such as during intercourse. There is a lot information here: http://women.webmd.
Avatar f tn SITED PAPER COMMENTS IN A PhD STUDY The extensive use of metal implants in orthopedic surgery as well as in dentistry calls for a general attention to their biological safety. Titanium (Ti) is used for many types of implants and is generally considered a safe metal to use in implantation. However, it has been shown that particulate debris, also in the nanoscale range, are released from implants.
948349 tn?1294383837 Hi All ~ Just wanted to say I can take vitamin D3 now without headaches. I can't explain it, but maybe something else bothered me or maybe it was a shock to my system. I am taking 5000 IUs a day and I'm upping my son with acne to that, too. I just wanted to try it first to see about any reaction before giving it to him. I know I was using cinnamon on toast in the mornings and decided that could have been the problem instead.
Avatar n tn an orthopedic shoulder surgeon, an orthopedic spine surgeon, an internist, a pain management specialist (anesthesiologist) and a chiropractor. They all suggest THE SAME THING....Specifically that my mid-back pain is a result referred pain of my torn labrum and rotator cuffs in both shoulders. Apparently there is a major nerve coming from your shoulders to your mid-spine. I've had recent MRIs of both shoulders and my entire spine (lumbar, thoracic and cervical).
Avatar n tn it started with my calf muscles and it stopped and now its my stomach, under the breast, lower stomach, my breast, pelvic, sides of my rib cage, all of my back arm pits, arms every once in awhile and at night my scalp. I have no rash but i scratch so hard it becomes red and painful. i keep reading that it could be so many different things. i have no idea what to do. it drives me crazy i cant even sleep considering im typing this at 3:11 in the morning.
