Common Questions and Answers about Breast augmentation size

breast

Avatar n tn I went into breast augmentation surgery with one breast smaller than the other (pretty normal, I know). I was a small 34A and am 5'2 and 100 pounds. My surgeon chose 350 cc Mentor Moderate Plus gel implants for both sides and I did not question this, foolishly, prior to surgery as I figured he knew what he was doing. Now 10 days post-op my left breast is noticeably smaller than the right, just as before surgery.
Avatar f tn I had breast augmentation 15 years ago and my left breast is still numb on one side. Touching it is like touching someone else, it's creepy because I can't feel it. The nipple feeling came back after awhile but not very much. I do not like for it to be touched at all. My husband has just learned to stay away from that one! I would give anything to go back to the way I was before.
1613743 tn?1298469227 Hi ladies, well I basically just need some opinions. I am thinking about getting breast augmentation after I have the baby my first question is : If I'm not breast feeding how long does it usually take for the production of milk to stop so that I may have the surgery? The other thing is that I am getting really bad stretch marks on my breast only because I used to be very small and I wanted to know: Does breast augmentation basically restretch your skin so that the marks look less visible?
1125172 tn?1259871615 Although there will be some increased breast size with weight gain, most women find that this is quite limited. Your options are to wait to see if your size increases to the extent you desire with weight gain, or to consider augmentation.
581359 tn?1454006442 I have a question for any of you women that had a breast augmentation before they got pregnant... Did it affect the pregnancy at all? How big did they get, did you get stretch marks? Were you able to breastfeed? How did they look after the pregnancy or after breastfeeding? I've got two girls, breastfed them both until they were almost a year. I do wish to get pregnant again in the future. I'm trying to decide if I should get cost free breast augmentation now, or later.
Avatar f tn My questions are, what are my chances that this could be a sign of cancer, and praying that its not, would I still be a candidate for breast augmentation surgery? Im worrying myself sick over all of this and very nervous about the results!
Avatar n tn hi,I had a breast augmentation 3 weeks ago.It was done on monday august 18th.On thursday august 21 i woke up to a hard painful mass on my left chest on the upper part of it.It's right where the cleavage is.Its the size of a ping pong ball.It hasn't gotten any better. It hurts so bad that when i go to get up i cry.I went to the emergency room that saturday and they did an ultra sound and said there's a big mass but nothing contaning fluid and then kicked me out the door.
Avatar n tn For some they will enlarge and stay that way, or they may enlarge while you are pregnant and breastfeeding but then return to your pre-pregnancy size. That is what happened with me, they never stayed the same size as when I was pregnant or nursing (unfortunately lol). That can cause your breasts to sag or have less volume, and if you paid a lot of money for an augmentation you might be unhappy with them after nursing if they do lose volume.
Avatar n tn The formation of a very thick scar tissue capsule surrounding an implant occurs in a small per cent of patients undergoing breast augmentation. This results in a very hard breast that can sometimes be painful. This can be interpreted as "rejection" of the implant, but there are many theories as to its cause. The primary recognized cause is an internal bleed immediately following the procedure. Infection is a rare complication of this surgery.
Avatar n tn I heard that it is possible to increase testicle size by injecting certain hormones, is this true? If so, are the results permanent? PS Is there any other way to increase testicle size eg by culturing leydig cells or something like that?
Avatar n tn Hi, here's some quick background info: I had breast augmentation in Nov. 2006 (saline) and this May (18 months later) I developed a huge rash on my right breast. The rash became a bruise, then the bruise morphed into a huge fluid filled blister-type thing. It began bleeding and pussing all over. This all developed within a week. I went to my surgeon immediately after the blister showed and he cut it open.
Avatar f tn I had a breast augmentation in May to fix where I had breastfed my first baby. We hadn't planned on getting pregnant again but I am currently 9 weeks. I still plan on breastfeeding and am curious to what my augmentation will look like afterwards. Has anyone else previously had a breast aug and breastfed after that could fill me in on what to expect?
Avatar f tn I have a breast augmentation scheduled for Tuesday. Friday I got the results from my mammogram and they detected calcifications on my left breast that were not there 2 years ago. They would like me to have a follow up mammogram in 6 months. Both my breast surgeon and GYN have talked on the phone to each other and the likelihood of this being anything other than benign is very low.
Avatar f tn I recently had a Breast Augmentation surgery last April and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with baby number two. I would like to try to breastfeed but not sure how it will go. My implants are sub-muscular and my incision was made in my areola. Has anyone else been in my situation and if so how did breastfeeding go?
958880 tn?1263678827 Well this is not your average question. I am scheduled to have a breast augmentation Aug 12th. My last period was July 13th. I just had a miscarriage in June so my husband I are waiting to ttc until December. In the mean time I thought it would be nice to have BA. Well this past weekend was my husbands birthday. We had a huge party. Well both of us were intoxicated so we had sex without protection twice. Now I'm worried I may be pregnant.
Avatar f tn breast lift, breast reduction, and breast enlargement (augmentation). Depending on your specific case, one or more of these techniques would be helpful to restore a youthful look to your bosom. Breasts are not stagnant organs, they are always changing throughout life. In a young women they grow and develop. They change each month with the menstrual cycle. Pregnancy affects the breasts as does nursing.
Avatar f tn So I'm a ftm and I was talking to a couple of mothers who have kids and 2 out of the 3 I was talking to never got breastmilk, never lactated. They didn't know why either and both had c-sections. Is there a connection? Any of you out there had this problem before? I really want to breastfeed my baby but I feel that although my width has changed, my cup size hasn't really. Anything I should be eating or taking to make sure I get breastmilk? I'm 23 weeks btw.

Avatar m tn I am 43, non-smoker, no history of breast cancer in the family, had my first child at 24, then one at 33 and the last at 36. Breastfed all of them. Had breast augmentation in 2003. Thanks!
Avatar n tn Any surgeon can do it as long as they do breast surgeries i.e. breast augmentation.
Avatar f tn t heard anything for that week, I went ahead with my scheduled breast augmentation. A few days after my augmentation I get a voicemail from my doctor's office stating they were calling to schedule my mammogram. I thought this was a mistake since I had had it done already. Well after a couple of calls and playing phone tag, I finally speak with the woman and she states that I need to come back to do a compression view and possibly an ultrasound.
Avatar f tn Anyway, I should also mention that I have had 2 breast augmentation through the axillary area (1996 and 2000). SHould I be worried? With a normal mammo could it still be cancer? Please advise and thank you for your time. No history of breast cancer in family.
