Avatar n tn i had my breast enlarged 1 year ago and i am unhappy with the right breast due to it being higher and it looks false...my doctor said he would redo, but is it risky to go back in?
Avatar n tn i;ve had breast augmentation 6 weeks ago i now have a open wound about 1cm in width with a visible implant along incision also very sharp pain in that breast various health professionals have told me not to worry, but my instinct is that there is something very wrong.
Avatar n tn Hi In Dec 07, I had TUBA breast augmentation, I went from a 34 A to 34 D. I did not want to be a D cup. Before the doc put me under I said not to big, don't want to be a D. When I awoke I asked the nurse the CCs used and they were int eh 400's and I started to cry. I tried to like them. I am becoming more and more self conscious. I am seen as the boob girl, and that is not what I want. I don't want boob envy, I want to look proportionate. It is hard to get close to fit.
Avatar n tn I recently asked a question about why one of my breast was fuller and higher in one side and you had maybe though it was capsular contracture, well I went to see my dr today and he said that it wasn't that instead one of my breast actually lays lower ( the fold). I paid alot of money for my procedure so I'm upset that they are uneven. When you get a lift and a breat augmentation aren't they suppose to be even or could it take some more time for one to settle?
Avatar n tn I had breast impants with The Hopspital Group 2 years ago. At first I was pleased with the results however, I have recently started glamour modelling, whilst looking through some of the images with my agent I notice that my breasts look a really funny shape when I posed in certain positions. Can you suggest how I would go about asking them to redo the surgery and how likely it is that they would do it?
214901 tn?1227571155 In the situation noted above, I try to make sure that every breast augmentation patient is fitted for implants and makes their own decision about size (with my help, if desired) prior to the procedure. I never try to dictate my aesthetics to the patient. I then let the patient know what costs are involved should they request an alteration of their size after the surgery.
Avatar n tn This is not a complaint that I am aware of occurring in many years of medical practice and breast augmentation surgery. Your post-operative infections may have resulted in increased vascularity to the area, particularly if that is the area of your incision. Sometimes laser therapy may be helpful. Assuming your subsequent surgery occurs without complication, I would not expect it to make this problem worse.
Avatar n tn I have asked the last couple days but there is so much going on with the new BFP and TTC'ers that I think it might be getting overlooked. Has anyone had a breast reduction and been successful with breast feeding??? Breasts are bigger, which would happen anyway-aerola's are very dark and warm to touch...good sign, I hope. More feeling in the left than right--has been that way since surgery. Just want to be able to breast feed and hoping someone else has had similar experience.
Avatar f tn She went into surgery for about 45 mins, came out, went home and that was the end of it. Both my sisters now have breast tissue under their underarms and both hate the way it looks. They both had it checked out and the doc told them it was harmless. One sister though has been complaining that it hurts her when she is close to getting her AF so shes going back to the doc to possibly have it removed.
Avatar n tn Hi there! I initially had breast augmentation with saline implants in '98. In '02 I decided to go a little bigger.(Mcghan 390cc filled to 430 cc's) Dr. said I was borderline for needing lift, but thought implants alone would be sufficient. The first couple of years they looked great, but now my nipple is looking a little low on breast mound. I was wondering if I had lift if I could get away with using same implants, or do I need a new set? If I got new ones could I get silicone?
Avatar n tn I am so sorry about the complications you had after breast augmentation. Before any revision surgery is performed, I would wait at least six months to a year to allow full maturation and healing of the tissues to maximize your results. You should discuss the cost of revision surgery with your current surgeon in light of your post-op problems and lack of funds.
Avatar n tn and wants liposuction and breast augmentation due to breast migration.lm worried that what im reading now will happen...
Avatar n tn I went into breast augmentation surgery with one breast smaller than the other (pretty normal, I know). I was a small 34A and am 5'2 and 100 pounds. My surgeon chose 350 cc Mentor Moderate Plus gel implants for both sides and I did not question this, foolishly, prior to surgery as I figured he knew what he was doing. Now 10 days post-op my left breast is noticeably smaller than the right, just as before surgery.
Avatar f tn I havd a lot of back pain and thought this would be the answer i was looking for . I was told that my breast were going to be perkey and that i would feel 21 again.. instead my "key hole' is about 3 inh wide with scaring. the left ones points to the left and the right one points right I can were a bra .. i need help please .. this is horrible i have no feeling on either sides .
Avatar n tn I had my breast augmentation revision surgery a little over 4 weeks ago. At the 4-week mark, I put a very thin layer of aquaphor along my incision. The next morning I woke up with a blood stain on the gauze. In the next couple of days, whenever I lay down, and my bra irritated the incision line I suppose, then I bled... it soaked through the gauze. This happened two times. In between, the bleeding will stop.
Avatar f tn I had a lift and augmentation about a week and a half ago. I was adamant that I did not want the lolipop or anchor scars, my surgeon assured me that neither were necessary, and that she could do the procedure completely through the nipple and areola complex. I am very happy with the size, and shape of my breasts, but the incisions look horrific! The areola and nipples are stretched to the point that they are completely flat, even indented.
Avatar f tn Hi, I had a breast augmentation last year. I started out with a B cup chest. My breast tissue was very firm. My surgeon recommended a 350 cc textured round gel implant placed under the muscle. Right after surgery, I could still see my old breast crease significantly (more so on one side than the other). I was hoping that was normal and the tissue would stretch and fill it in. I was starting to get worried about the appearance and was looking for info online.
Avatar f tn I have already been there once for breast augmentation and I am pretty comfortable with the place. I am not gonna lie, I am very nervous and have been through 4 consults and asked all the questions I can think of. I have also talked to people in person who have had it done and some are happy and some would never do it again.
Avatar f tn I even went for a tummy tuck and breast augmentation afterwards so I would be able to continue taking pain killers, since they were the thing that made me feel normal! I used food to stuff down the emotional pain of depression before, and I believe that if u are depressed and expect being thin to solve depression, think again. I naively took my "medicine", knew it made me happy, and thought I wasn't doing anything wrong.
Avatar f tn you must be against fake breast because you very wrong i recently have breast augmentation from a small b to a small d i love them they look and feel real the pain is minimum after 4 or 5 days i was back to my normal routine if anything the worst adjustment is no underwire or push up bras the first few months! newbie2b i would say go for it i did it to love my body and it worked it instantly boosted my confidence and happiness!
Avatar f tn ---I guess all those women with health issues due to the breast implants are delusional!! So apparently none of what I am saying or feeling has any basis in reality or science. This is pretty much what most health care practitioners say. Meanwhile, my health and energy levels continue to decline. I was not able to get a removal date until the 24th.
