breast

Avatar f tn i went back six months later as my right breast fells slightly harder and there is a lump on the side its not a hard lump i can manipulate it back in, the surgeon recommended to massage my breast and hopefully it would improve if not to wait 18 months after my surgery until all the swelling has gone down.
Avatar f tn I am 35 years old, 180 cm tall 67 kg weight. Two weeks ago I had breast augmentation procedure (Mentor 375 ml. moderate+). Somehow the implants were from the very beginning were placed a 2,3-3 cm. lower my breast byt general look really satisfied me and I was only worried that incisions are on the breast and suppose to be more visible in future. Tree-four days later, when swelling and bruises diminished, I realized something like a double bubble.
Avatar f tn I had a breast augmentation in May to fix where I had breastfed my first baby. We hadn't planned on getting pregnant again but I am currently 9 weeks. I still plan on breastfeeding and am curious to what my augmentation will look like afterwards. Has anyone else previously had a breast aug and breastfed after that could fill me in on what to expect?
5644233 tn?1371557686 Hi lovepeace53, I just read your comments. I would reconsider getting any kind of breast implant. Are you aware that silicone implants can leak ? Yes, you read this correctly. Silicone implants can burst and leak into your body and make you really sick. I'm not aware of what other kinds of implants there are. With breast augmentation ( I think that's the current term) there is always risk of an infection. They have sites now where you can watch a woman having a breast implant.
Avatar f tn My questions are, what are my chances that this could be a sign of cancer, and praying that its not, would I still be a candidate for breast augmentation surgery? Im worrying myself sick over all of this and very nervous about the results!
717167 tn?1230194685 I have just found some photos of people having the same thing (it seems it is wide spread ). U can see those semi horizontal or diagonal dark patches or lines or whatever, on the buttocks of the people in these photos. Please get your eyes little closer to the screen to notice them : The lower back of this lady http://www.locateadoc.com/pictures/buttocks-augmentation-butt-implants-16156after1.jpg on the buttocks of those women http://www.locateadoc.
Avatar n tn I got a breast augmentation almost 2 years ago. I'm 25 weeks pregnant now and am very nervous how bad it will hurt if it will hurt at all after my breast fill with milk considering there's an implant taking up so much room. Does breast feeding ruin them?
1613743 tn?1298469227 Hi ladies, well I basically just need some opinions. I am thinking about getting breast augmentation after I have the baby my first question is : If I'm not breast feeding how long does it usually take for the production of milk to stop so that I may have the surgery? The other thing is that I am getting really bad stretch marks on my breast only because I used to be very small and I wanted to know: Does breast augmentation basically restretch your skin so that the marks look less visible?
Avatar f tn I am a 38 year old woman. I was perfectly fine until I had a breast augmentation done. After two days the left side of my face started going numb and it felt as if I had pins and needles. This is now 4 years later and my symptoms have progressed so badly to the point that it feels af if my muscles are attacking me. i have these attacks where anything from my skull, chest, tummy, back will just go into spams.
Avatar n tn This is not a complaint that I am aware of occurring in many years of medical practice and breast augmentation surgery. Your post-operative infections may have resulted in increased vascularity to the area, particularly if that is the area of your incision. Sometimes laser therapy may be helpful. Assuming your subsequent surgery occurs without complication, I would not expect it to make this problem worse.
581359 tn?1454006442 I have a question for any of you women that had a breast augmentation before they got pregnant... Did it affect the pregnancy at all? How big did they get, did you get stretch marks? Were you able to breastfeed? How did they look after the pregnancy or after breastfeeding? I've got two girls, breastfed them both until they were almost a year. I do wish to get pregnant again in the future. I'm trying to decide if I should get cost free breast augmentation now, or later.
Avatar f tn I had breast augmentation 15 years ago and my left breast is still numb on one side. Touching it is like touching someone else, it's creepy because I can't feel it. The nipple feeling came back after awhile but not very much. I do not like for it to be touched at all. My husband has just learned to stay away from that one! I would give anything to go back to the way I was before.
Avatar f tn I Had a breast augmentation (Gel Implant) 14 years ago. I am still happy with them but have been told they only last 10 years and will need to be replaced. This worries me as I cant afford another operation! Is this True, my surgeon told me they were for life as long as I didnĀ“t get any complications!
358455 tn?1277433619 hey ladies, anyone out there with breast augmentation gone through a pregnancy? how did they hold up? breastfeeding issues? thanks!
Avatar n tn The formation of a very thick scar tissue capsule surrounding an implant occurs in a small per cent of patients undergoing breast augmentation. This results in a very hard breast that can sometimes be painful. This can be interpreted as "rejection" of the implant, but there are many theories as to its cause. The primary recognized cause is an internal bleed immediately following the procedure. Infection is a rare complication of this surgery.
1481291 tn?1287793105 Hi, about a year ago, I had a breast augmentation with a lift. I am pregnant now and my dr said I probably wont be able to breastfeed. I was really hoping that I would be able to. Does anyone out there whos had breast surgery have any advice on breastfeeding??
Avatar f tn Me!!! And I have inverted nipples. Some women, even without ever having augmentation cannot breastfeed, but the augmentation shouldn't have changed your ability. Keep in mind it's not easy. It's a great thing if you can but don't over stress if you can't, that's why there's formula.
Avatar f tn Hello, I would need to see a few more detailed photos in order to give you the best advice. Please send any photos you have to my office and I would be happy to evaluate them for you. My contact information is listed on my profile. Thank you, and best of luck to you. Dr.
Avatar f tn I have a breast augmentation scheduled for Tuesday. Friday I got the results from my mammogram and they detected calcifications on my left breast that were not there 2 years ago. They would like me to have a follow up mammogram in 6 months. Both my breast surgeon and GYN have talked on the phone to each other and the likelihood of this being anything other than benign is very low.
Avatar f tn I recently had a Breast Augmentation surgery last April and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with baby number two. I would like to try to breastfeed but not sure how it will go. My implants are sub-muscular and my incision was made in my areola. Has anyone else been in my situation and if so how did breastfeeding go?
20846959 tn?1533879250 It is a good fat transfer method which is being widely used these days in breast augmentation or breast enlargement surgeries around the world.
Avatar n tn Mine was a kind of sagging breasts and I hated them. Breast augmentation could give me such a good attractive breasts. I got it done from a plastic surgery clinic at Oakland in California. Dr. Joseph Togba was my surgeon. I should say a big thanks to him. I have no idea what happened in your case. May be you will get recovered soon. My prayers. Stay safe. And do post how you feel now.
Avatar n tn Any surgeon can do it as long as they do breast surgeries i.e. breast augmentation.
Avatar f tn t heard anything for that week, I went ahead with my scheduled breast augmentation. A few days after my augmentation I get a voicemail from my doctor's office stating they were calling to schedule my mammogram. I thought this was a mistake since I had had it done already. Well after a couple of calls and playing phone tag, I finally speak with the woman and she states that I need to come back to do a compression view and possibly an ultrasound.
