284738 tn?1283106819 i have been doing between 30- 60 minutes every day on the stationary bike and i started doing 10-20 minutes of beginner pilates and i started using the bowflex every other day lifting 10lbs for about 5minutes . im soo discouraged! this whole week i have not lost a single pound... could i have hit a plateu already? ive only been dieting for about a month or a little longer... and i had lost 12lbs up until this point.

For the bike I use it in the pulse rate mode to get my heart up to the right level (it adjusts the amount of tension to keep it at the right level automatically). I use the bowflex for my leg exercises in order to keep being able to walk somewhat correctly.
Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..

Plus it doesn't look like you're working out, just dancing. Don't let anyone keep you down. You'll get to your goal weight! I believe in you! Same with you morgan1342.

I still follow the LA weight loss diet I am now up to 130 and I go down one day up the next. I take one day a week to eat what I like(I always did that) if I dont then I couldn't follow a diet. I dont know what else to do.

I'm not working right now so I have plenty of time to work out but don't want to do anything excessive and I don't want to be a couch potato my whole pregnancy lol. Any ideas are appreciated!

Avatar f tn re already active it is fine to keep doing your regular workouts.. just monitor your heart rate, try not to get above 150. I asked her if boot camp classes and spin is still okay (by two favorite) she said as long and I'm monitoring I can do whatever I feel like as long as it is safe and I am not over heating (no more kick boxing).

Avatar m tn Every third day at work I do a mile on the treadmill or elliptical and work out on the Bowflex, all in all about 30 minutes worth of working out. I feel fine, I have been stressed lately and I do smoke a pack a day. But I had bloodwork last year and it was fine. Not really sure what is going on. My wife is a registered nurse and thinks I have CML. Doctor wants me to return on 3/22/10 for more bloodwork. Please help.
Avatar m tn I have over 600 miles jogging and walking with them on. Chest strap and watch. Currently wear a bowflex (avail any sporting goods) and they DO pick up my palps (pvc's). You will see a jump in the heart rate a couple seconds after you feel it.
