Avatar n tn Hello, Bowen disease is a neoplastic skin disease, it can be considered as an early stage or intraepidermal form of squamous cell carcinoma. You need to consult an oncologist or a dermatologist who specializes in skin cancer for the diagnosis and line of treatment. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor.
Avatar f tn I don't think there are many cases of lyme disease in Australia. I didn't do much research, but I do not think they have found a vector tick that can transmit the disease in your area. I am skeptical of the high rate of positive test results igenex gives out. I was reading on another site that the percentage of positive tests is around 53 percent. That is way too high. Another member mentioned that they had friends with no symptoms test positive with Igenex.
Avatar m tn Would it also not be conceivable that a dr would rush you in and out and give you a quick diag so he could see the next patient? If your Dr ordered a Labcorp/Quest test for lyme disease, did he tell you that the tests are virtually 90% unreliable? Those tests were designed to look for ONE type of Borrelia bacteria(there are over 200) and ONE type of form this bacteria exists in. Borrelia exist in 3 different forms. They are pleomorphic-shape shifters.
Avatar n tn Anyway, I'm wondering why some researcher couldn't round people like us and try to figure out what is causing this and why we are so sick? They spend millions on cancer, heart, aids, etc. why can't somebody try to help us? I'd donate my body to science if they'd figure out the problem to help others, but I'd rather them figure it out while I'm alive and help me too!
Avatar f tn The bike landed on the right side of my body in the accident and 3 weeks later i have started to get burning pains in my right shoulder blade and under my arm-pit which feels like a skin burn as apposed to a burning under the surface of my skin. I ran up the stairs to attend to my son a few days ago and felt the pain worse than ever, as of yet.
Avatar f tn 5% - that worked for about 4 months and gradually stopped plus it thinned my skin tremendously. Keeping my fingers crossed that whether its the prudoxin, sun shirts or menopause, I am just hopefully that this is ended. My heart goes out to you all. I am amazed how many dermatologists are oblivious to this, making you jump through so many hoops over and over again starting with anithistamines then a battalion of creams.
529159 tn?1224994626 I've tried alot of creams as well, the one that some what helped was capsacin but i can no longer use it because I have exteremly sensitive skin. If you don't have sensitive skin, give capsacin a try, it may help you out.A fair warning though, once you put it on you can't wash it back off because it just heats right back up again, you have to wait for it to ware off!! Also be careful and don't get it near your eyes i too learned that the hard way!! Good luck and I hope this will help you!!!
Avatar n tn i have the same problem soft area at back of head it gives me really bad headaches. i have many other symptoms too like body aches & nausia also tiredness & anxiety.
Avatar n tn I didn't get one right away, and the next day, experienced a muscle twitch under the skin while I was at work. I immediately panicked and went first thing the next day for a tetanus shot. Over the course of the neck few weeks, I noticed muscle weakness, twitching in the jaw and neck stiffness, and an increase in heart rate (especially with light exertion and going from sitting to standing position) and general feelings of exhaustion.
211940 tn?1267884866 That's a very scary thought. To your knowledge, would it be possible for these cysts to cause equal pain and be in the exact same place in both arms? Also, I would think that the pain would be all day and not just at night if it was cancer. I can't get an xray because I'm pregnant, but will ask my doctor about it. Thanks for your insight. I have found that forcing myself to sleep on my back with my arms straight has lessened the pain a great deal.
Avatar n tn Maybe it's the Lyme. You know the disease that doesn't exist, and there is no cure or test to confirm it. My neck clicks whenever it's turned as well. Sometimes my jaw clicks making eating noisy.
Avatar n tn He said he didn't know how I lived w/ the pain that must have caused. Tests don't show everything. I have degenerative disc disease. This will not be the end of this i am sure. My mother-in-law had surgery which included a fusion. She is able to live w/the pain now unlike before, but it is not cured and never will be.
Avatar n tn Each time I check, the skin temperature is the same on both legs. I too am online searching for what condition to attach to this symptom/sensation. I cannot help but chime in here with all your comments. My profile is that I am a slender, 52 year old female. I jog a couple of miles most days. And on days I can't get out, I try to do strength training in the gym. I do have a desk job and I sit on my rear-end way too many hours. But I don't have any special back problems.
Avatar n tn I think I would best disribe it as the feeling of black and blue bruises without the discoloration, plus a tightness of the skin. Doctors are dumbfounded and tend to blame it all on the Diabetes, but that is a totally different feeling. I am considering the magnesium and asking the doctor if I can stop the Crestor for a few days and see if that makes a difference. I don't have my gall bladder, so I don't know if I should try the flush, but I'm open to all ideas.
Avatar f tn I have a condition called Fibromuscular Dysplasia, a disease of the arteries that can affect many different arteries. I have the disease in 2 arteries leading to my stomach as well as my carotids. The blockages in the stomach arteries caused severe gastro problems. I spent several months seeing several docs in my hometown before going to Mayo Clinic - they diagnosed within 2 days.
Avatar n tn I have had MRI's done of the Cervical spine(neck region) and Lumbar spine (lower back) I have a lg hernated disc in my neck and degenetive disc disease with an annular tear in my lower back. I am going to also request my doctors to do an MRI of Thoracic spine (middle back) because they haven't done an MRI of that section yet. I am not sure if the mid back problems is caused by these issues I know I have. I would suggest you dig into the problem more.
Avatar n tn I have Peptic Ulcer Disease...they do a bllod test to see if you have the bacteria H Pylori and mine was positive! Just something for you to look into! I wish you all the luck in the world! I know how horrible it is in to live with all those symptoms! I suffered for 3 years till today! I only pray that this will end it all for me!!?
Avatar n tn I also suffer greatly from the hip where the graft was taken. I also now know that I have multi-level degenerative disc disease in all areas of the spine as well - with degenerate discs both above and below the fusion as well as the one below it touching the cord. My life feels like it is over. I am 32 and struggle to be normal and look after my 3 year old. I cannot do the simple things that everyone else takes for granted.
