six-pack

1565702 tn?1295292830 Truth is, and I will be the first to admit it, I love smoking and dont really want to quit my three to four pack a day habit. I should have been born in a time when smoking was allowed almost everywhere in America, and I could have smoked all I wanted to whether at my desk at work, or in any restaruant or bar, or at almost any other social occasion.
316994 tn?1259003438 Just for fun, but I would pack a hand held game....With my last baby I bought a Gameboy and this time I've already bought me a Nintendo DS. It really does help to pass the time during labor and distracts you as well.
Avatar f tn I've been smoking for about six years. A pack lasts me 2-3 days. I can go a day without smoking no problem. Why can't I stop then? Am I truly addicted or is it just in my head?
Avatar f tn t come in when needed. With my first birth, he was born with low blood sugar (common in long labors) and they rushed him off to the nursery to be fed formula through a tube. I still feel bad that the first thing in his belly was corn syrup solids :( I thought the hospital would give the good stuff but they don't. Research what formula you want to use and bring it with!
Avatar f tn Around six weeks I started getting rashes and I asked my dr he said it is bc the hormones make your skin super sensitive. I am now 31 weeks pregnant and still getting random rashes. There is no rhym or reason behind them just random rash on my hand or tonight one on my left butt cheek. I had to invest in a Sam's club size bottle of benadryl and a four pack of cortisone cream bc I use it nearly every day!
Avatar f tn When my son was born I basically packed 2-3 changes of clothes.. extra blankets.. wipes.. hand full of diapers.. bum cream.. when he was older and was teething I packed the infant Tylenol. Could not leave without it.. generally if you pack something you will not need it. So I've noticed.. now he's potty training and we're back to bringing a few changes of clothes and pull ups.. snacks etc..
Avatar n tn i was born with a hole in my neck, about 14-12 gauge if i were to guess. its on the front aboutan inch above the left nub of my collar bone. when i feel directly above the hole i can feel the tube that drains a darkish yellow mucus. when it gets full i have to drain it because it gets a little painful. and it will also leak at times. i have alot of reoccuring headaches that have been diagnosed as migrains but migrain meds dont help nor any other pain reliever for headaches.
Avatar f tn I've been exercising for long time and i can feel my six pack (when i push my finger on my belly) but it's hidden under a layer of fat. Why? What should i do? Any tips?
Avatar n tn I had everything packed at about 36 weeks. My hubby was born at 35+3 and my stepson was born at 36, so I wanted to be prepared just in case!
Avatar f tn In my bag i packed socks two sets of pajamas for after baby is born nursing pads and pads toothbrush toothpaste face wash mouth wash body soap a washcloth deodorant shampoo and conditioner hairspray and qtips lol oh and slippers :)
Avatar f tn He slept well in it. My daughter never had a bassinet but she didnt sleep very well in the pack n play. She prefered the swing at night until I moved her to the crib and she took the the crib instantly whereas my son took awhile to get used to a crib.. with this baby im going to be using a bassinet for the first six months probably and then move him to the crib.
11278126 tn?1419304633 So I was glad to have a small package of wet wipes packed. Also, you might just check with the hospital just in case. Definitely a shirt and pants instead of onesies until the umbilical cord falls off. And they may offer pictures in the hospital so if you're interested in that you might want a cute outfit.
545538 tn?1295992017 Get a note from your doctor saying that you must travel with interferon, an injectable medication. Carry on a small six pack cooler with an ice pack and hand it to the person as you go through security. If it is a long flight, bring a ziplock bag and ask the attendant for ice. I flew international a couple months ago and had no problems at all. If you are still concerned you can call your airline and they will put a note on your reservation.
Avatar f tn I would definitely use the pack n play with the built in bassinet, but even those can be pricey, almost as much as a crib. We just bought a really nice crib for only 150 at walmart, I bought my SIL's pack n play (with built in bassinet) for 129, so there wasn't much difference there.
Avatar f tn I feel like I bought toooo much newborn diapers, I opened a pack and they are the size of my hand . So tiny, I have a feeling I Might end up selling some but I'll see when he's born first.
Avatar f tn t exactly what your needing, then hold a diaper raffle ( each guest that brings a pack of diapers gets entered into a drawing to win a gift card or some other prize) and simply add to the invitation that gifts are not necessary.
Avatar n tn A week ago we were out to eat and my son threw a pack of silverware, and I caught it by reaction! Of course there was a steak knife instead of a butternife! It stabbed my palm & immediatley my finger felt like I was getting shocked! The pain generated throughout my hand and my wrist! Now a week later I still experience the tingle and numbness in my pointer finger! I should have gotten stitches but I didn't! The wound is heeling though!
Avatar f tn Second hand smoke is equally as dangerous. I couldn't quit with my 2nd child & she was born a whopping 9lbs BUT she had extremly low oxygen, I almost lost her. It was terrible, she spent seversl days in the nicu. Its terrifying to give birth & your baby can't cry bc of low oxygen. It was bc I couldn't quit smoking. So this time around I quit cold turkey. I don't plan on picking the habit back up.
Avatar f tn I would say toiletries, flip flops for the shower, a small towel (the hospital gave me a hand towel to dry myself with-uh yeah right), warm socks, underwear you don't mind getting ruined, snacks!!!!!, your baby's memory book if you have one, a camera, a cell phone charger, and an outfit for you and one for baby. Oh and I swear by adult diapers. They contained the mess really well. Will definitely be using them every time I give birth from now on.
Avatar f tn My big day is Friday and hopefully my little King comes. I want to pack a bag for me and him but dont know what to include. Any suggestions and do I put his things in my bag or do two different bags?
Avatar f tn I have been bitten about 3 days ago by some sort of bug in my sleep. My hand had a swollen red spot, but nothing real concrete. No "fang" marks, but it was definately a bite. Iit hurt and stung, but in Colorado, there aren't many real bad venomouns spiders, so I didn't worry about it. Besides, I didn't know what kind of a doctor to call, my doctor doesn't know much about spider bites.
Avatar f tn My daughter either slept in her crib or in her pack n play with the bassinet attachment in it. I used the blackout curtain method which helped a lot. I just put blackout curtains up in her room. And if she was in her pack n play, i just kept all the blinds shut and had a dim light on. I started around 3 months but she didn't start sleeping through the night til 8 months.
Avatar f tn ) 3 months before?? Wow. Hope I remember. Im only 20 weeks so I better write it in my calendar. I did know it changed but not the time thing.
Avatar f tn For me, hard work hard physical labor such as yard work, lifting, perhaps building a wall with stone ... this was the type of work that got me a six pack, but at the same time I was losing weight for a health problem (Celiac) so my body fat got low.
Avatar f tn I had two bags. One with dice and a note book and cards and snacks. Also contained my cell charger and camera. Now the big list... Two pairs of socks, nursing bra, yoga or sweat pants, nursing shirt, hair brush and ties, face wash and soap (hospital provides but my skin is too sensitive to use any but my own) shampoo and conditioner. A heavier blanket for baby, baby's hospital outfit and baby's going home outfit.
