Avatar f tn I have been looking into this blood type diet myself being a blood type O but recently I have become concerned if I suffer manic episodes or am bipolar. Certain periods in my life become notably amazing. Usually when Im relatively lean I find myself with too much energy than I know what to do with! My social life improves dramatically! I quit 2 different jobs during these periods of "high". I almost become contagious during these periods wishing I could feel like this forever!
Avatar f tn Mornings I drink a smoothie (7:30 a.m.): One banana, an orange, handful of raw spinach, handful of natural granola, handful of natural almonds, handful of natural walnuts, cup of water & a tablespoon of coconut. You can use switch it up how ever you want your smoothie to be. If the smoothie doesn't fill me up, I eat a bowl of fiber one cereal with 2% milk. Snack (10 a.m.): Apple & raw baby carrots. Half liter of water Lunch (12:30 p.m.
Avatar f tn I was concerned with my weight gain while pregnant because I had severe morning sickness the whole time, and was unable to gain weight. My midwife helped me to manage my diet so that I felt more confident.
Avatar f tn Aleisha, you may have type 2 hypothyroidism which is a type of resistance to the the thyroid hormones which circulate in your blood, so they don't make it in your cells. Your doctor only had you checked for TSH levels and maybe T4 and T3 levels, which only indicates that the blood levels of these hormones are OK,not the thyroid function, where the actual hormone that does all the work in the end,T3, makes it INTO the cells!

Avatar f tn Is there any pills I can take to help me lose weight I'm a type 1 diabetic
Avatar f tn t seems possible and moreover it is not a healthy weight loss. You should try to lose what you can lose in a healthy manner now. Start a healthy eating plan now and avoid all type of junk food, soda, dairy products and white sugar.
Avatar n tn The diet, because of its low requirement for insulin, has been recognised by the Swedish government as being suitable for people with type 2 diabetes and as helpful to individuals looking to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight. The recommendation of the low carb, high fat diet is that people eat full fat versions of dairy food in preference to low fat options. The diet does not rule out fatty meats and instead encourages people to leave the fat on rather than removing it.
Avatar f tn Oh I almost forgot. It doesn't matter what you eat at all. If you really wanted to, you could be on an all ice cream diet and lose weight as long as you're eating less than you burn everyday. Of course i dont recomend that. Eating meats and vegies fill you up quickly and are full of vitamins. As long as you aren't eating a bunch of crap, you're all set! Yogurts, sandwhiches, lean meat, vegetables.

776302 tn?1241091853 If your goal is to lose weight, and make a significant impact on your blood glucose levels, stop eating carbohydrates. You don't need Herbalife to accomplish that goal. All it takes is the will power to replace a carbohydrate rich food with one that contains protein and fat. I know it sounds counter-intuitive to eat fat to lose fat, but until you read up on a low carb lifestyle, trust me on this.
Avatar m tn Am I too old to lose weight? Please somebody help me . I am very depressed.I have been using Euthyrox 75 from the last 10 years.
Avatar f tn t need to diet to lose weight, but you do need a diet that will help control blood sugars. Your levels of 120 - 150 are still too high. Can your doctor refer you to a nutritionist? ANyway, you need to control how much carbohydrate you eat at each meal. Following an atkins type diet (maintenance phase) / lower carb diet is the way to go. Best way to work out what you can and can't eat is to test 2 hours after eating and to see what your blood sugar levels are.
