Blood type diet acne

Common Questions and Answers about Blood type diet acne

Avatar m tn Acne along the jawline and the neck and back indicate a hormonal imbalance for women. Typically, men get acne in those areas. There is no one answer for everyone. The first food to get rid of, in my opinion, is cow's milk products. That is the food that gives my daughter acne in those areas. My daughter needed to get several things out of her diet to cure her acne. It's not easy for her and every time she cheats, she gets flare ups.
Avatar m tn I clean it with antibacterial and acne medication multiple times daily. I have a healthy diet and I run and work out 4 times a week. I am considering the dermatologist but I hesitate because it is my understanding that all acne medications cause sun sensitivity. This is unacceptable (I work and play outside) and if it is the only thing they will offer it makes that a no go. Am I wrong? Any suggestions otherwise?
Avatar m tn I'd say to see if it's causing acne, cut it out of your diet for about 2 weeks and see if it clears up. I've heard of people's acne getting better while drinking green tea simply due to the antioxidant content. I've noticed a difference in myself having drank it (I find oolong to be the best), but a much greater difference having reduced my dairy intake and increased my vegetables and fruit. If you're looking to switch to a caffeine-free alternative tea, try any tea that says 'herbal'.
Avatar f tn So I am constantly trying to battle acne with products that dry and moisturizers that break me out. I just can't seem to get the right routine for my skin type...please HELP!!
Avatar f tn Anyway, I recently decided to begin an elimination diet to rid my diet of allergens (gluten, soy, dairy, sugar, caffeine, unfiltered water etc. ) in hope that i can find a possible solution to this headache. ;) I am wondering if anyone else has found relief through this method? I eat mostly vegetarian, occasionally eating fish, but i consume a lot of soy and dairy products. I'm fairly active and would love to find a solution through diet and exercise.
Avatar f tn Hormones and stress are huge factors in acne, the jawline area is hormone related, cheeks is diet and for head is stress and environment. antibiotics have nothing to do with acne. Also junk food has nothing do with acne! You might need to look at other things like the kind of makeup you wear, the chemicals in it.
Avatar n tn my current dermatologist, who at this point Im starting to believe he doesnt know what he's doing (sorry about this to all the docs here but I dont know what to believe anymore) has been prescribing solodyn 45 mg (I only weight 120 lbs) for the past TWO YEARS.. continuosly..
Avatar m tn I just wanted to know what all these blood results mean as he just said that the Testosterone was high but didn't say anything about anything else?? Do they all look okay? Does PCOS ever go away or will I have it forever? Also how difficult is it going to be for me to get pregnant when I want to have children? Thanks Shell. P.S I am 21 y/o!
463575 tn?1211306288 Also, turmeric acts as a blood purifier and blood THINNER, so if you have any blood diseases or are getting ready to undergo surgery I would stay away until your doc says it's ok to take it. Another awesome thing turmeric did for me: No more nightmares. Strange, I know, but for what ever reason, I don't have them anymore. My memory has also improved. Go figure. Btw I am 42 years old, female, pre menopause. I'd had acne since I was 12 until 5 months ago.
1434731 tn?1382725984 Well I have read and heard about doing this but I'm **** it my own way. Pcos diet is basically eat a big breakfast, medium lunch and small dinner. I am doing that but I'm doing it like this. Larger breakfast with carbs Medium lunch with light to no carbs Small dinner with no or very little (cuz sometimes you can avoid it) carbs. I like the low carb diet but its to hard to do living with my pizza and carb loving hubby!
Avatar n tn I am a 27 y/o female and have had abnormal hair growth on my stomach and chin area the past few years. Also I have suffered from many pimples/acne on my face and other areas Are these related to some hormonal imbalance and what can be done about them?? One other thing is that for around 5 or so years now I have had large pimple like growths under my arms that eventually burst containing a puss like substance and blood. After they have healed they leave scarring.
Avatar m tn After the initial blowout I got back on DHT and reigned back in my diet a bit but it took 3 months for my skin to even BEGIN to calm down. No typical acne treatment has worked, the only thing that's provided some relief is tea tree oil. However it did slowly but surely start to ease up...until this last week. My hair however is still struggling profusely.
Avatar n tn including steroid sprays antihistamines , ct scan not showing a problem that should cause this much phlemg. Have high BP so some allergy type treatments can't used. I have been to a allergiest and was negative for allergy's. I tried on my own to eliminate gluten , soy, dairy and still no relief. Any other ideas as to what foods to avoid to not create anymore mucus? I'm getting desperate so I'm leaving no stone unturned.
Avatar n tn I put myself on a bland diet and for the last 2 days I seem to be doing better. I'm still passing blood & mucus along with cramping, just not as much but I constantly feel like I have to have a movement. I am not scheduled to go back to this public hospital for a scope until Feb. 5th. I don't have insurance so I have to go there. Does anyone else have/had these same symptoms? Any replys are greatly appreciated.
948349 tn?1294383837 people point out that DIET affects my acne!!!... and then someone will reply no diet doesn't affect your acne!!! Well what it is... Some parts of diet may affect your acne. Mind you what you are eating may affect your acne ONLY in the sense of it's glycemic index. A high glycemic index food such as pop or chips will spike your blood glucose levels very quickly causing a necessary surge of insulin to be released by your pancreas in order to absorb the glucose...
Avatar n tn what it does exactly is-it removes the layer of skin-no side effects, no scarring, or pits, just the best as a scrub and acne treatment.
Avatar n tn I have had abnormally large stools over my whole lifetime really but have recently been concerned with my habitual feces having blood in it. This happens from time to time usually about 3 or 4 days out of a month and usually goes away however I have had bleeding now for about 3 weeks straight, sometimes are more than others. I realize I am very young and cautious, however after reading these testimonies, it seems like it would be smart to get a fecal blood test and maybe a sigmoidoscopy.
948349 tn?1294383837 I have finally found the best natural possible treatment you can have to help your acne. The fact is... Diet DOES affect your acne. This is very much so true. The reason why you hear so many Doctors state that diet has no affect on acne is because the dermatology papers and research were done back in the 1960's and 1970's, and they thought diet has no correlation to food.
1047234 tn?1253547296 I do have FM but not this blood type. I've never heard of this type. What is it? why do you think there is a link?
Avatar n tn Hi everyone, yesterday I brought my wife home from the hospital (7 days) after she was admitted for having blood clots. She has a blood clot in her upper arm/shoulder area, and a blood clot in each lung. The ONLY risk factor she has towards blood clots is that she is on birth control. She has been on Yasmin for around 4-5 months now (she was previously on orthotricyclin). My wife is 25 and a non-smoker.
Avatar n tn I recently was rejected to be in a medical study after blood test results came back out of the perameters of the test.I was informed I should see a doctor because my blood test results showed elevated levels of ALT(146),AST(56),LDH(199)and elevated lymphocytes(3.7).I tested negative for Hep B S Ag, Hep C Ab. I'm not a doctor and don't know what this means. I'll see a doctor soon to find out what this means, but if anyone could send me some information about this I would really appreciate it.
Avatar f tn It was incredibly difficult (I practically gain weight by looking at something) but through a medical supervised starvation shake diet (500-750 calories per day and only the shakes for several months), I lost the weight over a period of a year and a half. I am now 7 weeks post op from a craniotomy, laminectomy, cerebellar tonsillopexy, duraplasty with muscle fascia for my Chiari Malformation. Problem is, I still have plenty of symptoms that I couldn't attribute to Chiari.
Avatar n tn I am experiencing a similar situation. I've taken 2 at home tests and 1 blood test. The blood test and second urine test were negative, but the first at home test was positive. This would be my first pregnancy, and I'm pretty nervous. Do you have any insight?
Avatar n tn Simple question here, has anyone ever had a negative blood test and negative urine test and went on with their daily routine and a month or so later found out you were in fact pregnant while having ultrasound done. If this has happened to anyone or perhaps someone you know, please respond, I'd appreciate the information. Thanks.
Avatar m tn My face was popping up w/pimples 3 weeks ago, so I got fed up...I went to my local health food store and to Ulta and bought Genuine Health's Perfect Skin dietary supplements and Boscia's acne line...these really helped clear my acne.

Avatar f tn Hi...I have had acne and rosacea for some time now. It is generally pretty much under control with oral and topical medications. Lately, however, I have been getting raised bumps that seem like acne....they, however, are not going away. It has been many months for some of them. They seem to be somehow related to the broken blood vessels that I have on my face. Do you know what they could be? It has been happening for about the last year or so. They almost always leave permanent marks on my skin.
