Okay - I was happy with my One Touch Ultra. Yes, it failed to pipe up enough blood sometimes resulting in a wasted strip. Yes, the 1 mu thing is a marketing gimmick since it still wants 3 mu of blood or the strip won't fill and you get an error. But - I learned its qwirks and got used to it.

Had about 10 viles of blood taken which I gather is normal the first time. They also had be do an hour blood glucose test done which I thought was done later in pregnancy. So today I had to go for a 3 hr test sinces yesterday my number was 141 and they wanted me to be under 135. Anyone that can shed some light on this would be wonderful.

When I wake up my blood sugars are in the mid 50s. After breakfast they hover around 76 or 82. They rarely ever go above 86 ever. Once a day they may hit 115 if I eat bread ..stay there briefly to go back down to the 70s. I am not on a specialty diet nor do I do keto. I usually eat a lot of fruit and seafood. What does this mean?
