Hi, I got some blood test results back from the Doctor. What are the significance of the figures? Are they healthy? Should I continue to stay off alcohol? I'm Hep B immune, Hep C neg, a bit anemic though (RBC 4.8 WBC 10.8 Lymph 1.8). Just asking for general health. My pain level was at about a 3 on a scale of 10. About 4 weeks ago, I started exercising 6 days per week using elyptical, treadmill and weight machines to lose weight. I lost about 15 pounds but the pain in the soles of my feet increased to about an 8 on a scale of 10. (feels like walking on stones- stone bruises). My neurologist and websites encouraged exercise for neuropathy. Could it be that the agressive exercise caused a more rapid progression of the peripheral neuropathy pain.

I am looking to put this situation to rest. I have abused alcohol for years and drink 1-3 times per week on occasion heavily. I had a low risk exposure over 9 months ago. I was tested after3,4,6,7,9 months. I did some ora-quick and two blood ELISA tests. I haven't seen this question specifically addressed so my questions are:
1. Due to my alcohol abuse could my immune system be negatively effected and not producing enough anti-bodies resulting in a false negative out to 9 months.

The hospital doctor said he should be able to resume normal activities as long as he stops drinking (moderate alcohol consumer) and checks in monthly for regular bloodwork. The hospital doctor made it sound like everything would now be fine with those caveats. The gastroenterologist has ordered blood work but can't see my friend for full evaluation and diagnosis of cause until July.
Why would a physician give Lorazapam and Oxycodone to a patient who has severe liver damage and also has a history as a youth to drug addiction, and recent serious alcohol addiction that caused the liver damage in the first place??
Anyone else weigh themselves at home and get a completely different number when you step on the scale at the doctors office.. Ahh it bothers me. Past pregnancys I have gained 40lbs and I'm trying to control how much I gain this time around. pre pregnancy I was 150 (according to MY scale). I weigh myself on a daily basis and have been at 152 for awhile (ill be 15 weeks tomorrow). Well I went to the doctors and stepped on their digital scale and got 158.

Had steroid shot today, blood sugar's are 343 now. Take 10 units of Humalog before meals and 55units of Lantus before bed. What is the sliding scale when sick. Have sinus infection and bad cough.
