I don't think there is a medical diagnosis for "alcoholism". They can check blood alcohol level, and they can check the organs to see if they've sustained damage from things like alcohol. I don't think anything bad is going to happen to you, but definitely do NOT be drinking while taking this medication anymore. I'll tell you something else, alcohol (especially in excess, to the point of intoxication) will exacerbate anxiety terribly. THAT is probably why you are overly anxious, from the alcohol itself.
