630177 tn?1231545490 I have been experiencing extreme vaginal discomfort now for over three months with no discharge. I've used monistat a couple times with no result. I went to the doctor multiple times and this last time I told her to do a COMPLETE std scan on me. She tested for any and all STD's and all came back negative (thank God). Also, at that time I did have discharge so she tested it and said it looked like a yeast infection.
666921 tn?1254990618 I took Saccharomyces boulardii (aka S. boulardii). Kitty above describes it as a 'very beneficial yeast.' What the labels and the MDs don't tell you though is that like any yeast, in the wrong environment, the yeast can colonize your body, and set you up with a super sized yeast infection of your body/system. S.boulardii is relatively recent in the US but has been used in Europe for longer, and the medical literature is beginning to show reports of problems esp over there.
Avatar f tn One more question. Can having a Yeast Infection and this other Infection cause Vaginal Peeling? I looked a while ago and noticed it. I am just ready to be over this and to stop stressing.
Avatar f tn ve had a chunky white discharge that smells kind of yeasty/bloody but no blood. Today I was tested for bacterial vaginosis and yeast infection, both came up negative. The doctor gave me the pill for yeast infection in case it was a false negative and said in a week maybe get STD tested. I've also been experiencing itching in the anal area, bloating every day, and diahera/constapation. The odor is quite strong, making me wear a pad to help a little from sitting down at work.
Avatar n tn The itching and dry flaky skin could indicate a yeast infection. If you are experiencing any other symptoms, such as constipation, bad breath, bloating, indigestion, frequent intestinal gas, frequent diarrhea, very loose stools, sexual dysfunction, irratibility and mood swings, fatigue or lack of energy, memory loss, jock itch, dry itchy flaky skin or athletes foot, these could also be a strong indication of a yeast infection.
1094370 tn?1317134825 difficile bacterial infection from long term antibiotics are far more serious than the risks of a systemic yeast infection, and C. difficile is far more likely to occur than a yeast infection like I got. I'd suggest you just tuck the possibility in the back of your mind, and if your jeans get 4 sizes too small around the waist in a short period of time, think about this email. Otherwise, no problem!!! You sound like you're doing well -- so keep on keeping on. J.
519035 tn?1348275773 I still have some yeast infection. Not running a fever anymore, but here are my symptoms. I had a fever of100.7 before I went into work, I didn't make it the end of the night.
Avatar m tn And stomach aches, bloating, and have been nauseated. I went to my doctor thinking it was yeast from what I read or a chronic sinus infection and since I have been getting sick so much lately I even pondered on it being HIV.
Avatar m tn Pylori Symptoms If HCl does not take care of the acid symptoms, you may have a heliobacter pylori infection. Gnawing or burning symptoms can be indicative of an h. pylori infection. This pain tends to be located centrally, just below the rib cage.
Avatar m tn Some other possibilities and often missed in diagnosis are intestinal parasites and yeast infection, may be could do further testing for these?
Avatar m tn Last October i had really bad digestive issues. Bloating/constipation and gas. I tried every single over the counter remedy, and nothing worked. Fast forward to December, and i found out i was pregnant. I started to feel a bit spaced out, it felt like i was extremely high. It would come and go, along with some headaches every couple of days, which with a little tylenol would be gone. This went away after a few weeks, and then a week later i miscarried.
Avatar n tn I eat mostly fruit, fiber vegatbles, and dairy product such as yogurt to help me with my constipation problems. I also avoid bloating related foods such as beans and caffeine. Bloating could be related to constipation, but every since I changed by diet to high fiber, my bloating and hard stomach has not gone away at all. After I eat, my stomach hurts and extends. Even when I don;t eat, my bloating stomach sticks out and looks preganant, which I am not.
Avatar m tn James, Sounds similar to my case. I took 2 rounds of 2 different AB's at about the same time. It started with constipation, but that has subsided. I still have abdominal bloating. I avoided gluten and lactose for a time but no change in my condition. You may want to consider researching candida. It's yeast infection. Just like bacteria, we have yeast in our digestinal tract and it is kept in check, normally. AB's can through that out of balance too.
Avatar n tn He put me on antibiotics to prevent diverticulitis - the theory was that infection could be causing the gas. Things are worse now. I'm miserable - the stomach distends to two extra sizes. I have also been put on fiber to help abosrb gas. But I'm simply not passing the gas - it seems to be stuck in the upper abdomen area. I read somewhere that this could be candida infection... especially, the upper abdomen distention.. Any clues?
Avatar m tn No discharge, no pain during urination. Two weeks of this, I went to the doctors and he said it was a yeast infection. He prescribed a cream (clotrimazole). Once I started taking that, I started to get a sharp pain every now and then in my urethra and and itch every now and then too. Two weeks of taking the clotrimazole, it seems to be getting less red but the occasional itch and pain in the urethra is still there. I had a recent bloating feeling and soreness in my lower abdomen and sides.
Avatar f tn I am now 36 weeks and have my 3rd yeast infection and have had one uti since I hit my 3rd trimester. I am so tired of getting infections. It just want to cry about it but I know it won't change anything.
Avatar f tn I'm 25 weeks pregnant. I've had a couple bacterial infections and recently I've noticed some little white bumps in the vaginal area. I was wondering if this could be from the bacterial infection? Or if it could be from a yeast infection? I have an appointment tomorrow but it's really worrying me and I was just looking for some answers.
Avatar f tn Hi there. Well, could be a yeast infection/overgrowth, yes. If you have never been diagnosed for a yeast infection, I would go the first time to your doctor to confirm. They'll help you treat it then and give you ideas why it is happening related to your period. So, yes, I'd see your doctor at this point.
