m not sure if these two are related, but I have seen a few doctors with no help, and had an ultrasound which came up negative. My menstrual cycle is very irregular (don't get it very often, last menstrual cycle was a month ago) and generally only lasts a few light days.) I have considered the bloating as being caused by anxiety/depression, allergies (gluten?), or something else in the GI category.
Hello. I'm 22 years old and for the last few years (since about 16), I've been getting cycles that last from 3-4 months. During this time the pain is so horrible that I can't even move without screaming. Also, I've been getting blood clots the size of my fist, sometimes larger. I will tell you I'm still a virgin. Plus when my period finally leaves, I still get cramps and bloating that hurt tremendously, and I get full at meals very quickly.
The common side effects are hot flashes, abdominal bloating, weight gain, mood swings, nausea, vomiting, headaches and abnormal menstrual bleeding. Weight gain is not very common as bloating and may be connected to bloating. If your symptoms are severe or persistent consult your doctor. I hope you find this information useful.

i have a lot of pain and bloating in my lower abdomen. i feel as though i am constipated though i have regular BMs. what could the cause be?
If this happened a little while after your period, it could be leftover menstrual blood. The leftover menstrual blood will mix in with the cervical fluids and it may seem a little scary. But it is completely normal.
If you have had a Cervical Implantation, like an Intra-Uterine Device or an implantable form of contraceptives, that will also trigger small bleeding during the beginning of the implantation. Afterwards, it will stop your period completely for a little while until it is taken out.
Is she experiencing any other symptoms? Pain, bloating, mood changes? She may want to go for tests because it is most likely some kind of hormone imbalance. The iron supplements made her feel better because they are helping to replenish the blood she is losing with the increased menses, but they are not likely to cure the underlying problem. I don't know much about either condition but here are two possibllities:
1. Perimenopause - which can happen as early as the late 30's.

I am only 4 weeks, 2 days, according to all of the calculations since I have only been to 1 appointment! I was wondering if really bad bloating, almost a distended stomach is normal? I honestly look like I am 4 months pregnant and I'm only 4 weeks. Is this pretty normal? I have an appt on Tuesday, but it feels like it's an eternity away! This just started happening tonight.
I have also been drinking a lot of water, and I am taking pogestrone, vaginally every night if this helps any?
I Had done embryo transfer 3 days aftereggs picking, after that 10 days passed away but I don't have any pre menstrual syndrome like lower abdomen pain, cramps etc, and don't have morning seekness, vometing. Is is normal in this situation or am I being pregnant?

I have also never had my menstrual cycle, ever. I'm also following the fodmap diet and off of gluten, dairy, corn, soy, cruciferous vegetables, garlic, onions, and legumes.

I’ve had stomach bloating & cramping after every bowel movement for a few months now. I’ll be fine before and during but be miserable after. Pain varies from mild discomfort to severe cramping. It feels similar to menstrual cramps. I was treated a few months ago for constipation. High fibre & lots of water did the trick. But I’ve been having this issue ever since. Wondering what it could be.

I'm currently 3 weeks late I've taken multiple home test and they are all negative I went to the doctor at 2 weeks late and they did a urine test and it came back negative. I've had sore nipples a few days also cramping. I've been a little nausea but not bad and some bloating.... and suggestions/ideas.
Within that week the symptons that I been experiencing were bloating, sore breast and back aches. I recently been experiencing menstrual cramps off and on for three days. Is the menstrual cramps a sign of pregnacy? I am due to take my blood test June 10th 2008. I am praying that this will work. In the beginning, I was kind of disappointed that only one egg fertilized but when I found out that I had a healthy embryo it restored my hope.
The first day started with some mild menstrual like cramping followed by some bleeding. I have been on the depo-provera shot for 7 yrs. never missing one. I have not bled at all through those 7 yrs. I have been spotting off and on since then. I have also had headaches, lower back pain, severe painful bloating, occasional mild diziness and my stomach just seems to have taken on a life of its own.
Are you having symptoms or experiencing pain, bloating etc.? I think I can report every symptom possible in the last month, currently I'm having a break from the pain which is fantastic, but my bloating is too no end. Most doctors like to monitor it first if its not huge or life threatening etc. I'm seeing my gyno in another 2 weeks for another ultrasound and see about my symptoms and status on everything.
