I have had pain for 4 weeks now. Originally diagnosed as kidney stones. I was put on antibiotics for a week on day 4 and booked in for an ultra sound. I was also given diclofenac to help with the pain. Avo upper data later the pain did not get better. I went back to the doctors and they weren't sure it was a kidney stone. Occasionally pain worsened on some days. Was prescribed codeine for when I needed it. I continued having pain and was signed off work. I only had fever on day 2.
Pretty much straight after my colonoscopy I started to experience pain and bloating in my stomach and kidney area. I thought this was just the after affect of the operation and it would settle down after a few days. Well it's been over 4 months now and I'm in so much discomfort. I have gone back for CT Scans and X Ray's and everything looks normal apparently.
I have started to have issues with retaining water really bad, especially in the winter time. I drink about 5 bottles of water that are 750ml a day and the bloating will go down. I watch my sodium intake and keep it minimal, however, i defiantly notice i will retain more when i eat more salt. Every morning i wake up with bloating, which is typically in my fingers, feet and face to the point that my rings are so tight on my fingers.
Now I pee normally but I get that discomfort after the pee, my back hurt for 3 days around my kidney area. My feet does hurt a lot. I wrk in a job that requires standing for 8 hours. I want to add that my son accidently hit my balls. And my balls hurt for a week also they don't hurt much but they still do. I do have a wife which I'm concern if I have contracted std/ngu etc. also coffee irritates really bad when I pee.

I Started off with allot of bloating and lots of discomfort / pressure in the middle to upper abdomen. I also was having pain around both sides of my kidney area and went around to my lower and mid back. I have had all this disomfort going on for about 3 months now. I am a big guy and i am 43 years of age. I am on lots of medication. Quinaprill, lipitor,medformin, klonopin, prozac, singluair, albuterol inhaler, prilosec.
I have the same abdominal pain, pressure and bloating. No back pain. The CT scan showed a 4 mm stone in my left kidney. I had blood in my urine one day, a fever one day. Now urine is normal. Can a stone cause this pain, pressure and bloating to go on for weeks? It has been 12 days and shows no signs of letting up.
For the past 4 months I have experienced discomfort and bloating/swelling on my right side at the hip-bone area around to my front right side. Bloating usually starts mid-afternoon and is more obvious in the evening. Excessive bloating is gone upon awaking, but still swelling on right side that I notice. Mentioned discomfort to my primary 2 months ago, and he said all my blood work and urinalysis that had been run 4 weeks earlier were normal.

Since the kindey stone is 7 mm, so the symptoms seem unrelated to the kidney stones. Since you are having pedal or leg edema, hence your cardiac, liver and kidney functions need to be assessed for which I suggest you to consult a physician immediately. Abdominal causes like irritable bowel syndrome can also cause such symptoms. Common symptoms include abdominal cramping or pain, bloating and gassiness, and altered bowel habits(alternate constipation and loose stools).
On my right upper quadrant area it feel like something is sitting there no pain just uncomfortable feeling I was taking nexium but the feeling is still there what could be wrong my MD says he doesn't feel anything but area looks a little swollen plus my stomach is bloated
Kidney stone can cause really strong and sharp colic pain on one side of abdomen (going elswhere from the kidney area in the back or by (usually) one side of abdomen down to the groin. This pain usually causes constipation.
Gas, bloating, diarrhea...this goes more with diverticulitis. Temperature means infection, you should get antibiotics (probably according to stool culture). 6 days is a lot to wait, go and have a stool test.
that goes along with a winter cold. At one point I had blood in my urine but only once and my kidney area sometimes hurt. I did notice I was retaining water a lot, especially around the stomach area, to the point where drinking was physically paining my stomach by stretching it so much.
I'm not usually big on eating but lately I've been eating less, but even just water causes me to swell up.
Will be going to the doc soon but I'm wondering what it could be? It hurts heaps.
If I eat any carbohydrate to try and fill up, I take complex digestive enzymes which helps somewhat, but I still get inflammation and pain on right side of my body from head to kidney area. Is it a lymphatic system problem? Fungus? Bacteria? If I have sinus trouble, I have digestive misery. If I don't eat carbs or any sugar, I don't get sinus problems or digestive problems and I'm thin and starving. Problems are on right side only.
About two months ago I starred feeling pain on both sides of my back in the flank area that would radiate back and forth. I then began to have extreme bloating and couldn't pass gas and became constipated. After a few days of constipation I began to have watery stools, so I would radiate back and forth from constipation to diarrhea. I then began to have left upper quadrant pain just under my ribs that radiate under my shoulder blade and sometimes to my lower abdomen.
Upper right quadrant pain is basically under the ribs and we do have a lot of organs in that area such as the right kidney, gallbladder and pancreas. Are you having any other symptoms such as a change in your stools?
I too was complaining of pain and bloating. On my ultrasound they found a mass on my ovary which was followed up my a Ct-Scan. On my Ct-Scan it was confirmed that I have a dermoid cyst on my left ovary. They also found a labial cyst measuring 17 mm on my left kidney in the lower pole. Funny how it's so similar to yours. My moms oncologist told me not to worry, if u are being following by a specialist I'm sure u shouldn't worry.

I am diabetic and have been diagnosed 3 times, with 3 different diagnoses and still have no relief from the constant diarrhea,or then constipation, bloating after meals, gas and abdominal pain. If I eat during the day and then go to sleep my swollen stomach (which a lot of times is swollen as far as it can go) seems to have flatted back out, but then I eat something and begin bloating again. I have nerve damage, Kidney Disease Stage 3, constant UTIs, and uncontrolled BG.
My problems all started w/ vague abdominal pain (various locations) Went to FMD, routine labwork showed WBC 13.1(neutrophils also elevated), had abd US showed benign liver hemangiomas. 2 weeks later WBC14.6(neuts still also elevated) Sent to hematologist 2 weeks after...WBCs now higher at 18.8(neuts still elevated) Now I'm worried about cancer/leukemia. Went for CT scan of abdomen/pelvis....showed: "nodular hypodense lesions"on liver, impression was hemangiomas...
ever since i have had him my stomache had been really sensitive to milk based products. and ive been bloating really bad. and everytime i eat i feel like i ate a million things. and its really hard on the upper part of my stomache. my ankles started swelling about a week ago. and it is not going away. i feel like im still pregnant cause my stomache still pokes out and its hard like it has gotten bigger since i have had him.
