Does anyone have or had a bladder infection (UTI) during pregnancy? What did u do to get rid of it without meds? Doctor refused to give meds and I'm glad she didn't.

I washed my vagina with baking soda this morning because I thought it would make it not smell by the end of the day then an hour later when I went pee it burned, and it also burned the other 2 times I peed today. Is this a bladder infection or did I just irritate something? I am not experiencing frequency of urination. Please help. Thanks!!

i drink a full glass of water with a teaspoon of baking soda in it---it about gags me---but it works wonders at neutralizing the acid in my bladder and i am usually fine within a pretty short period of time.

Well the Chinese predictor was wrong and the baking soda test was right. We're having a boy!! So excited we got what we were hoping for. Ultrasound was a let down because baby was behind up and face towards my spine so didn't get any good shots. I had a full bladder from waiting so long and she said that was good because of baby's position and if I had gone pee she wouldn't gave been able to tell gender. You take about a tbsp of baking soda in a see through cup then pee into another cup and then add then add the pee to the baking soda if it foams like a head of beer it's a boy if it just fizzles alittle it's a girl good luck it's all for fun

I dont kniw the baking soda one, but i know the bleach one, pee in a cup pour a Cap full of bleach in if it fizzes like soda Its a girl, if it throths and goes Brown like beer a boy, i did this and it worked for me, it fizzed and im having a girl :)
