Avatar f tn Continuing the Live Chat discussion that I started about the Biggest Loser but never got to finish since I needed to spend time with hubby--- I read your responses to it and that's actually a great point about it being sad that people have to go home. What happened with the first episode of Biggest Loser? They sent NINE people home on the first night (split up 9 teams). The reason behind it being that they want people to know they CAN DO THIS at home, without that bootcamp atmosphere.

However, every where says you can add a friend to challenge, but I can't figure it out? I want to challenge my husband, but I am struggling with the set up of the game! Anyone?? On a side note, the Wii game is AWESOME! If you have the wii balance board it is better, but heard you can use it without it too!

Avatar m tn I also have a stomach ache that has lasted a week and seems to be aggravated when I move, and I, too, have been doing "The Biggest Loser" cardio max workout every other day and the 5 minute yoga stretch with poses at the end. I was wondering if I twisted something as well, so I was interested in any answers you got, but so far no one has answered if it is possible to twist something internally. Do you have any digestive issues?

Or this week do the horseback riding, next week Wii Fit, the following walking, and so on................. Doing different things, not only keeps things changed around to challenge your body, it also makes your workout more interesting than doing the same thing day in and day out.

I'm trying to alternate days of cardio and circuit training, will this work or do i need to do cardio ALL 6 days?

I'm very sorry, but right off hand, I can't remember which one it was. Hopefully, she will see your post and answer or I will remember who it was and contact her for you....... Personally, I like yoga for toning and all around exercise. It works the entire body AND helps you relax. My favorite dvd is "Biggest Loser, Yoga for Weight Loss".

Avatar f tn Watch a movie or TV while you work out. Honestly, that's the only way I can workout for any extended period of time. I invested in a stationary bike and treadmill so that I can get my mind off working out while I'm working out. Earlier today I ran four miles and did 15 minutes of strength training while watching Pirates of the Caribbean on TV. If I didn't have something to watch, I would work out for maybe 10-15 minutes and then get bored. Today I did an hour.
Avatar f tn I had lost 72 pounds before finding out I was pregnant, I still work out now im almost 30 weeks, I walk alot and play a workout game on my xbox kinect I just change some of the workouts so they don't hurt my stomach....I did run a little in the beginning and the protein shakes are ok depending on what kind it is, I would google it or ask your doctor!

I feel like such a loser like whats the point of even keeping trying...I havent taken any pills today but I gaurentee I would if I could find them, feels pointless. I left my husband with my 3 kids and no money no job no place to live, nothing all because I just knew if I got off the pills I would have a better life. But nothings better. Its worse.
Avatar f tn You are a student and overweight is the biggest issue for health. Do exercise daily, It is effective for reducing fat. Don't gain your wait at the student level. Eat healthy food. please don't eat fatty food. Drink too much water. Do a walk for 15-20 mins after eating.
649848 tn?1534633700 Walking is one of the most recommended exercises; whether it be on a treadmill or outside; but of course, walking outside gives the added benefit of fresh air and mental stimulation (sights and sounds), along with the actual exercise. I've never tried the Jillian Michaels DVD (shred); I think they are a bit more than I could tolerate. I do have the Biggest Loser - Yoga for Weight Loss, though and I love it; it works if I'd do it often enough.

Avatar n tn Start with a moderate workout, perhaps just walking for starters. As you become thinner and more fit you can advance to a more intensive regimen. If you have ever watched "The Biggest Loser" you assume that they are working out furiously all day long. Not so. Given the extent of their obesity that would be impossible. But it makes good television. Most of their weight is lost through a restricted diet.

My husband works out of town almost every week and I only get to see him on weekends and that's when the Army isn't pulling him away for months at a time. I definitely understand the alone feeling but you should be greatfull at the same time because he gets to come home every night and also because he's making some extra money, I'm sure, for when your baby arrives.
