We played for two hours last night and today I am sore all over. I used muscles I didn't even remember I had!!! Avatar f tn If you have a pool in your community or a YMCA or even join a gym with a pool. That's your best bet. I have a 500 LB friend I taught to swim on a lake. It's great cardio and resistance at the same time. You can use flippers. Kick from your butt muscle. Keep your legs straight. No bending at the knee. I like swim goggles. But rarely use fins. Oh. Use socks w fins to prevent blisters. You'll see results within a month. To float just put your head back into water up to your face.

Avatar f tn ve heard a few different opinions on what time of day is best to workout but honestly, the best time to workout is whenever you have time to fit it into your schedule! Personally I workout at all different times. Sometimes I have time to kill in the morning and have enough energy to get in at least a half hour of some kind of cardio (it's rare though because I am not a morning person AT ALL either lol) Other times I do it late at night.

So I spent the first parts of my 200mg/day Oxycontin cold turkey WD taking the OTC remedies and supplements while watching the clock just waiting for something to take the misery away. Sure, I had read the advice to keep busy. I tried watching TV, but I couldn't focus on anything. Late in day 2, I finally decided to take a hot bath. I had read to do it, but I thought I felt too awful. SERIOUSLY. Do it!!!! Better yet, live in that tub.

Avatar f tn I have been really active before getting pregnant also, my doctor told me that if you're already active it is fine to keep doing your regular workouts.. just monitor your heart rate, try not to get above 150. I asked her if boot camp classes and spin is still okay (by two favorite) she said as long and I'm monitoring I can do whatever I feel like as long as it is safe and I am not over heating (no more kick boxing).
Avatar f tn Absolutely ;) I'd put mine in sweat mode songs to work harder and was doing it constantly for about 3wks anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3hrs (split up throughout the day) I dropped ten pounds in 2wks and felt great. Definitely can't wait to get back into that routine once I get some energy!!! Dancing to the wii is moving muscles and that's a workout in it's self.

I have been working out daily on a treadmill for 45 - 60 mins and running my heart rate up to approx 85% plus of my max heart rate, around 150-155 bpm. I have been doing this for over a year and lost 60 pounds. My main goal is to be proactive with keeping my heart healthy and loosing a few pounds along the way has been nice as well.

Try to workout something where you do it during the time of day that is best for you and ask him to understand you. For me i told my hubby we need to do it before 9pm so I can still get some sleep.

So far I have been eating a decent size meal before working out and having a piece of fruit for a snack afterward. About a half hour after my work out my stomach demands food with lots of grumbling.... It's quite annoying! Is this good or not so much? Any advise???
