Im going to start going bike riding when I get my bike fixed and going for walks nightly. Im just wondering if theirs any good diets that are fast, cheap and actally work? I have no idea how to eat healthy so thats a lot of my problem and my lack of exercise dont help witch im trying to fix.
Avatar n tn As for the drinking, yeah, I know, but she's already pretty angry that this happened to her and there's no way she's going to give up going to parties with friends. In a way it MAY help as we have told he she CAN'T drink and take vic so she's more willing tolerate the crappy withdrawal symptoms as she sees being able to go out as the reward.

This is something else I can freeze in individual portions, so I don't have to eat it for days on end. Of course, freezer space might be a problem for you, so that has to be taken into consideration too. These are just some ideas of things you can do to give yourself some variety at less expense.

Our house was all electric and with no power, we were "dead in the water"........ no heat, no water, no way to cook.........over a week....... friends loaned us a kerosene heater, with which we could heat a small part of the house and cook things like eggs, soup, etc......talk about a miserable week...and we had company to boot....

620923 tn?1452919248 getting exercise in as that is that one best way to lose weight. I went back to doing my PT exercises after not doing them for the week and now all I feel is PAIN!! So frustrating b/c I want to be active!!! Not sure what to do...maybe try swimming next? At least you can get some cardio w/o the strain on your body.
Avatar f tn i feel the same i have gained 30 lbs in 2 months of methadone. I plan to switch back to suboxone over my winter break b/c the weight gain and going to a clinic everyday isnt worth it. It's just going to be hard making the switch from 120mg of done to subs but im ready, anyone else know if they lost all of their weight making the switch?

Avatar f tn I've heard a few different opinions on what time of day is best to workout but honestly, the best time to workout is whenever you have time to fit it into your schedule! Personally I workout at all different times. Sometimes I have time to kill in the morning and have enough energy to get in at least a half hour of some kind of cardio (it's rare though because I am not a morning person AT ALL either lol) Other times I do it late at night.
Avatar f tn I thought it'd 'take longer' to get pregnant, & I'd have time to lose the weight I put on during winter - I was wrong & already a bit pudgy when I got pregnant. I was worried too...so I try and do cardio (walking/eliptical -both things i did pre-pregnancy) and not go too crazy "eating whatever I want." My friends have insured me that I will lose pretty much everything I've put on after the baby is born & breast feeding is a plus too!

In other words, you don't get to be indifferent to the treatment of the scar and then come back at Doctor #1 and say his mistake ruined your career because the scar is messy.

Avatar m tn in my case i think weight gain and age are correlated. i also used to have the "eat anything and not gain" profile, but my profile changed at about age 40 or so. but i think the "rebound" point regarding post treatment weight gain is well taken. i'm sure it takes quite some time for our systems to adjust after being stressed so much for so long with these tx drugs.

You'll be so much healthier once you quit. I didn't experience any unusual dreams on Chantix. I took it for 2 months and then stopped. I didn't need it anymore.

I have struggled with weight all of my life, so knowing that this can help is wonderful. I eat smart and exercise, but before, I slept all the time. Now I don't eat as much and I have more energy. It is great hope for anyone with epilepsy, migranes, maia, but I don't think it should be prescribed for people as a weight loss pill.

Avatar n tn It helps you because the pill is for insulin resistance and once your body starts excepting sugar again it helps you burn it and everything appose to the sugar just sitting in your body causing you to gain weight because its not going to the proper cells. The pill does have its side affects but if you think its something abnormal then you should probably just talk to your doc about it and clear it up if it continues.
Avatar n tn My Doctor put me on premarin hormone therapy,at the time i was walking 2-3 miles a day after work 4 times a week plus going to curves and aerobics.I started to notice weight gain in my waistline so i joined weight watchers.I was a member of weight watchers before and was able to loose weight in the first weeks I would loose up to 10 pounds.This time I lost about 3 then the next week i would gain 5.I got frustrated and quit. Now I have gained 11 lbs.

Avatar n tn I was on Lexapro and gained a lot of weight so the doctor changed me to Wellbutrin because it heps to lose weight. I have not lost any weight in 3 weeks. Maybe is too early to tell and that is why I was asking......when did you start to notice that you were losing weight? How long had you been taking it before you saw the weight loss results? I think it has helped me with the anxiety although I have a hard time falling asleep and wake up during the night or wake up really early.
