Avatar f tn I'm going to ask my doctor before drinking it, but I was wondering if anyone has drank mothers milk tea while pregnant? I'm 35w5d and I want to breastfeed. My biggest fear is not being able to or not making enough milk. I wanted to know if it's safe while pregnant. Thanks in advance!
9489952 tn?1404326682 Size doesn't matter. The more baby nurses the more you will produce. You'll be fine. With my 2nd, my boobs didn't get much bigger until after he born and my milk came in. If you're on facebook look up breast is best.
Avatar f tn Your feelings are normal and I was that way too. I had my son on May 2nd and got my milk on May 6th. The first few days was colostrum and since my son was starving (and I was dead tired), I ended up breaking down and giving him formula. I still supplement with maybe 2 ounces of Similac once a day. Make sure from the time of your baby's birth that you're feeding him exclusively every 2-3 hours.
Avatar f tn I plan to breastfeed my baby and my friend bought me some Mother's Milk organic tea. Have any of you ladies tried it? Does it work? Is it safe for you and baby?
8973962 tn?1410146883 At some points i cant even pump one ounce but some days i can pump 3 ounces i will try that oatmeal..
Avatar f tn What. She ^^^^ said. Plus your milk gradually comes in, it doesn't come all at once. It goes from dark yellow colostrum to a lighter yellow and then eventually just white. My milk "came in" during the third day. I was pumping as well and the milk I pumped in the first few days was yellow compared to the milk I pumped after 10 days which was white.
Avatar f tn Oh my goodness thank you so much!! And yes I drink a lot of fluids and will also be eating healthy...lol.. plus I still take prenatals.....and I'll drink the nasty tea if it means my baby girl having the best milk!! Also I'll ask my midwife when I go back for my check up..

Avatar f tn For my second child my doctor recommended me this tea, it worked alot but I forgot the name u should ask ur doc. Oh and regular warm tea with milk helps aswell I know it filled up mines lol. Goodluck!!
Avatar f tn It's not necessary "bad" but I'd suggest limiting your intake. The reason is because most Thai tea are made from black tea. Out of all the teas, black and red tea has the most caffeine content. On top of that, Thai teas have a lot of sugar in them. It's made from condensed milk + evaporated milk. So it's fatty + sugar + caffeine in one cup. It's tasty I know!
Avatar f tn Okay I will try that, and I heard the milk tea does taste gross :/ but red reasberry leaf tea is supposed to help better then the milk tea, I'm trying everything lol and I use the pump a little more then breast feeding but I just went back to just breast feeding because I think it helps with my milk production as well
