I had been prescribed a supplement for the treatment of acne and the salts in that supplement contain myo -inositol, D-Chiron Inositol, Chromium and Vitamin D3 and I have been taking these for 3 months now. You have been given the correct treatment for acne and should follow your doctor’s advice. For the hair loss, laser treatment can be used but the diagnosis needs to be made first.
Thank you so much, you're very kind. Yes, I do have extremely oily skin as well as acne, although my acne has improved over the years. I'm currently undergoing laser hair removal on my face and have been told to avoid chemical peels, etc. until that procedure has been completed. In the mean time I guess I'll try and hang in there and look into proper cleaning and toning options.

I am a 22 year old female who suffered from bulimia for almost 2 years. Over the past 12 months I have been in recovery (dramatically reduced episodes from daily to monthly) , and over the past 2-3 months I have been completely bulimia free.
During my bulimia I lost my periods completely and it is only since I started recovering 12 months ago that they returned.
Now I have persistant and large acne on my cheeks and jawline, including cystic acne. The acne is ever present and not just once a month. My current dermo (not the one who proscribed Accutane) tells me that it's hormonal (I believe this) and that I will just have to deal with it for the rest of my life (I don't want to accept this). She does Cortosone injections on occasion for the cysts because I cannot, for the life of me, leave my face alone.
However, now im anxious when it comes to stopping the use of this treatment for fear my skin will go back to how it was initially, as i don't wish to keep returning to the doctor everytime the tube finishes.
So, my question is if i stop using Duac will my skin remain clear or just go back to how it was?
i have acne marks on my back , buttocks and forearms . i want to get rid of them .

I had the same problem. I had bad hormonal breakouts. If I was in birth control or pregnant I didn't have a problem. I had other side effects from birth control so I decided to get off of it and the acne returned. I tried everything OTC for acne. I even tried proactive and it did nothing for me. So then I realized it was related to my hormones. I found a natural treatment. It's an herb called vitex fruit. It can take a couple of your cycles to take affect.
Then about 3 years ago I went to school for esthetics, where i learned the ins and outs of acne care, and treatment... i was the one who helped people with their acne and skin conditions. Half way threw school it started... everyday i woke up with 5 more pimples... i had pimples on top of pimples, on top of pimples.
