What many people don't realize is that it not actually the dog that they are allergic to, it's the dander. And dander is produced by the dog's saliva when it licks its own fur. The saliva dries and becomes tiny little particles of dander. If the dog licks your daughter and she develops a red mark where she was licked, then yes, it's an allergy to the dog's saliva.

There are also diseases that cause certain types of cataracts such as Diabetes...Your Vet will need to do blood work to rule this out.....

I have 2 Yorkies - they had started to sneeze alot but never to the point of nosebleeds . My vet said it was allergies & told my to give them 5cc's ( 1 TSP ) of CHILDRENS Benadryl . U can get a syringe from the pharmacy to administer the liquid . I have had great results ... they hardly sneeze at all anymore . Good luck ! They even like the taste - I get the bubblegum flavor - it's like a treat for them .
Hi, I am new here.I am wondering if I can feed my yorkies baby food.I have been reading terrible things about what goes into quite a few of the canned dog foods.We are not near any larger cities to get very high quality canned dog food regularly. (they get thier hard dog food when ever they want,but once a day at supper they get canned.)
Also our lttle boy yorkie had a pancreas problem a year or so ago.So feeding him anything iffy makes me nervous.

Please don't blame yourself for this. Because it might look that way to you -that she died from the separation, but she could have been sick, and even had this coming on for a long time. You may not have known. Dogs often do hide their symptoms.
