Avatar f tn I know what it's like to be a teenager, looking to lose weight fast. Don't take pills! It will mess up your metabolism for life!!! Trust me!!! I was you 20 years ago.
Avatar n tn You can go to a Bariatrics doctor and they can prescribe for you and you get it from your actual pharmacy. Scary, my insurance covers diet pills. Doesn't cover birth control, but covers diet pills. You don't need to use them for very long, though. It will make your heart race and feel funny...thus, the reason they are abused. Definitely an upper, and yes, Andi, my house was SPOTLESS while on them. Oceans, you're so not fat. 138 is the perfect, curvy weight. Men don't like bones....
1641357 tn?1470498993 I'm 24 - mother of two small children and want to lose some weight pretty fast if I can. I know I need to exercise and eat right, which I'm starting to do, but do diet pills help a lot? I'm debating on taking some to help me lose the weight that I've gained and then I want to get into shape. Who here has used any pills and do they work? Pros and cons?
Avatar n tn I agree that diet pills are not the best solution, however, they do help get those of us that aren't able on our own started in the weight loss process. I too think Hydrocycut is good. I will also add that I started Curves and did excellent there losing weight. I do not know exactly how much weight you are looking to lose but, my mother has recently lost 40 pounds by taking Adipex. This is typically a prescription but can be purchased online. My email is ***@**** if you are interested.
Avatar n tn I have taken 40 pounds off before when I was in my early 20's but since I turned 29 and 30 the weight just keeps coming on. Desperately I turned to diet pills since what I did the first time I lost weight doesn't work this time. I have tried working out twice a day. Lowering carbs, lowering calories and finally went to diet pills to help. I first tried trimspa: worked to make me feel full but once that feeling went away I was starving. Slim fast: whatever!
Avatar n tn There are some safe natural diet pills that are effective. Visit this website for a review of the most popular weight loss pills: SlimQuick has some side effects and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Avatar m tn I can still see them somewhat but they don't look like blisters anymore 9 days since I last took the valocyvir. Does this med work that fast and once there is formation of blisters will they always pop or can the medicine prevent this even though I only took it for 2 days?.
Avatar n tn I'm looking for information on the effect of diet pills on type 1 diabetic's. Specifically, I'm thinking of trying a product called cylaris. If anyone can give me any type of information, good or bad, or otherwise, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks again!
Avatar f tn I have spent many hours on the internet searching all the weight loss pills available now, and after carefully considering all the facts for all the different options available, I have decided that Phentremine is still the best choice! (I know there are other potent pills that work, but the side affects are horrible!) As had been stated above, everyone's body is different, but all I can say, is that it works for me!
Avatar n tn I have a diet for u, to lose weight fast, but its not for the unhealthy, and after u stop the diet u must go onto another diet like weight watchers or south beach to keep the weight off, but you will lose 10lbs in a week I garuntee it. It was given to me by my recruiter when i was getting ready to join the army.
Avatar f tn My doctor mandates a yeast free and sugar free diet. My naturopath said no wheat and dairy...I really try to limit it the best I can. Sometimes when I am starvin Marvin, I have a wrap sandwich or something with wheat. I now see how addicted to sugar that I was. It was a risk -benefit thing for me. I want my health back so badly that I am willing to give stuff wasn't so bad once I made the commitment. For bread you can get Ezekiel bread...
Avatar n tn Finding time to work-out with very young children is tough. I think that working out on a stability ball is one of the best at home work outs you can do. Depending on your strength level, I'd buy some free weights and a good stability ball. One of the best workout DVD for stability ball is Gunner Peterson's Core Secrets. (I hope I spelled his name correctly). That is a great place to start. Good Luck and let me know if I can help you out.
Avatar n tn My fear of ever having that much pain again is really the reason I wanted to make sure I had pain pills. To avoid that horrible feeling....ugghhh.... gotta get some actual work done now :) i'll be around tomw. have a good, clean night everyone.....
1382889 tn?1505074793 Next week I see my gp for my annual which includes a lot of blood work. Fortunately she shares the reports with my neuro so he doesn't have to redo any when I see him later this month. But this time of year means I will get my annual MRI. HATE, HATE, HATE them! Claustrophobia is real. Since my neuro knows this he give me magic pills to get through it but still... It's this time of year that I cannot deny that I have MS.
Avatar f tn I'm at the end of my rope and need to get some help fast! I'm currently 42 years old and started into menopause around the age of 38. I'm not sure if I have "normal" meno symptoms or not but I have been tested and that's what it is. I am freezing cold all thur the day [yes I have had thyroid tested its normal] and than at night I'm so hot I can't sleep!
Avatar n tn (I'm giving this doc the benefit of the doubt because you have praised him - so I have no reason to believe that he's doing this with malice). Of course, this isn't going to work this fast. In fact, it looks like it's going to snap back and get you right back on the oxy for relief. That means it's just too little, too fast. Let him know that you want to get off, but doing it the way you are is not going to achieve that goal.
Avatar f tn For those of you who have been through a total thyroidectomy, I know that you fast from midnight on, and then they said it's a liquid diet the next day. I am prediabetic and have reactive hypoglycemia, and it's bad so I need to eat every 2 hrs. or so. (very difficult for me to fast) I don't eat any sugar or artificial sweetners. I have some low glycemic fruit, but fruit juices are too full of sugar. What type of liquids do they give you? I am wondering if I can bring in my own protein drinks?
Avatar n tn If you jump in with both feet and get into a strict diet and hard core excersize plan than after a few weeks your body will get used to it and it will be even harder to lose... Set small goals and you will get it. The best diet I EVER did was Weight Watchers. It really does work... even if you don't excersize... Good luck and if you need to talk to anyone... Im here..
5789444 tn?1374302213 There really is no healthy way to lose weight "fast". Safe weight loss is 1-2 pounds/week using a healthy diet and moderate exercise. Can you tell us what kinds of things you've tried that didn't work? If you eat a lot of sugary snacks, or starchy foods, drink soda, etc. You should stop. Exchange the sugary snack for an apple; exchange the starchy foods vegetables that have a lot of filling fiber; exchange the soda for water, unsweetened tea, etc.
Avatar n tn not saying at all that you shouldnt do that. my doc said with some fat and if nothing else make sure you eat Something. I have had a very hard time eating 20 g of fat 3 times a day. Lots of days I just dont feel Like I could eat anything when It is time to take the meds. I just do the best I can in a yucky situation. I do find my self justifying eating at Micky D's a little more. I have found that I am getting weird cravings. Big Macs, steaks, italian dressing, club soda, avacados.
Avatar n tn No joke, it has taken me 3 months, to lose 3 stinkin' pounds. I started at a 1200 calorie diet and dropped down to a 900 and work out (kickboxing class) 3 times a week (for an hour) and sweat my BUTT and yet I still managed to gain weight!!! I really don't eat meat so I wonder if this is my problem. I will eat chicken when I do this diet but not real happy about it. I just don't like meat.
Avatar f tn Gluten sneaks in all kinds of prepared foods, so be careful. It would be best if you have a friend already on a gluten free diet to help you out, it takes about a year to really learn how to eat gluten free. And Johannah 705, you are the rude and awful one, here. Since I have taught both bi-lingual children and dyslexic students, I fully understand how difficult spelling and grammar can be.
Avatar n tn Google the brutha and than come to your own conclusions. Anyway, bottom line is this. The diet will work alone. Not saying it is a healthy diet, not even saying it is a sane diet. I am saying it is a freakin extreme diet that would cause an anorexic Ethiopian to drop weight. All I want is for you guys to do some research and do not jump blindly into every diet scam there is. I know what it's like to be overweight. I was once an obese man myself.
256349 tn?1189759437 No one (including bboss) should ever try and discourage anyone if their mind is made up. Any program will only work if you believe that it will! The best programs in the world don't for the one who to does not believe in it. Trust me, I am very overweight and just getting my mind where it needs to be to start a program. Everyone that searches these forums, have a problem. And though alot of our problems are simular, some are not.
Avatar n tn I am on very high doses however and so it limits my driving and am now unable to work and have qualified for disability. I much rather be able to work as I loved my job. I just know that I would mis more that just 4 day a month and would not be able to even drive to work. Wish there was an answer because my mind is sharp and I have all kinds of ideas but my body is too weak to do anything.
623156 tn?1322869451 I keep seeing in the stores weightloss tea and herbal weightloss pills. Does anyone have any personal knowledge or heard if it really works.? Any advice would be great!!!!
Avatar f tn I originally intended to do this diet for 14+ days, however I was so miserable I didn't last but 7 days even though I was highly motivated. I was having another severe episode from my RA and needed relief. Losing weight was only a secondary reason for the diet. I was hungry all the time and it was extremely difficult to stay on the diet. After work I would go home and crash on the sofa from exhaustion.
