Yes, we are all probably feeling that way. I was diagnosed in Jan. with FM but my doc figures I have been suffering with it for the past 24 years. my mom 78yo was dx with diabetes last wk (bld sugar 257)only symptom was tired and dry mouth..she prob had it for a while.she would eat candy and her diet was sporadic, apetitie down,,,.her dr wants her to try diet first...her sugars this past week, fasting, run about 180-240...she has stopped all sugars, is eating better, 3 meals a day, wheat breads, salad/vegs/fruit uses sugar free sodas and occass has had sugar free cookies....todays fbs was 288..I'm not sure what caused it...

I've been reading hearing a lot about the disease preventing qualities of a vegan diet. However, there doen's seem to be a real concensus among the experts. Is a vegan diet the best option?

Eating healthy is truly what is best for your baby. Just be sure you are eating enough and not depriving yourself or your baby of anything important while trying not to gain weight. Just eat lots of fruits and veggies and cut back on the junk. I also enjoyed taking walks while pregnant and it helped me keep my weight down with both of my pregnancies!

In my 25+ years of dealing with this disease I have tried everything out there and the only thing that worked for me was seeing a specialist and having the disease cut out of my body...diet is important but if your endo is advanced best to see the specialists! Good luck!
